Cosco warehouse is where people buy a membership card and buy items in bulk. Went to their web sight and couldn't find anything about selling Roswell. But, Tek saw it about three week ago, don't remember what price she said.

LT - My friend remains unchanged. Her son is coming from Hawaii again...second time in a month. Sad.

I think I'm run down. Was able to take it easy today. Grandgirls coming Saturday. They will play with some of their friends--I'll take them all to Planet 51, then they will go to the friends' home for dinner. Sunday, after church, I will take the grandgirls to New Moon, if we can get tickets. They are excited. And the older one called last night and said "Nana, remember the book you bought me "Diary of a Wimpy Kid"? I only have twenty pages left. I'm ready for the second one in the series. I've got $5.00. Is that enough?" Hint, hint! Subtle, don'tcha think? Fortunately I had a Barnes & Noble coupon. So I went out and bought it this morning. Reading is something I approve of encouraging.

Had a nice dinner out last night. It was my husband's birthday. Our son and his significant other joined us and we enjoyed it immensely.

di m - where do you live that you are able to see celebrities?

(IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/wave.gif) off to dinner.

It's funny, but the other day I was thinking about that trip we took on the plane back to Texas from CA. I have no idea why it popped in my head but it did. I had that big flying saucer pinata (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/lol.gif)
I still have that. The kids love it (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/lol.gif)

nana your poor friend (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/sad.gif)

Geesh Lori. I hope the sleep study helps. Who posted the thing about breathing exercises adn not allowing you to breath thru your mouth? That is helping me during the day when I ride and exercise. It's just really hard cause my body really panics, feeling like I can't get enough air thru my noses but breathing thru your mouth contract the tubes.

(IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/wave.gif) All

Busy again (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/sad.gif)

I'm sort of glad we can't get the new release Farscape DVDs here. I have so many copies already, yet I know I'd buy the new set as well. (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/lol.gif) I need to save my money for other things though.

Sorry about the aged horses, Vin. It's always sad to lose a loved one (person or animal) but never good when they all seem to go at once.

Pip has her glasses... and loves them (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/smile.gif) It took her all of 5 seconds to decide to wear them - as soon as she realised she could see to read in them! (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/smile.gif)

And.... it's not even December yet and I have finished my Christmas shopping (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/grin.gif) Wrapped it all as well (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/grin.gif) I'm boasting - because this will never happen again in my lifetime! (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/lol.gif) (Sister and I had a shopping spree this week, to cheer ourselves up (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/wink.gif))

QUOTE(di m @ Nov 18 2009, 04:08 PM) *

maxi I saw Richi Sambora at the new moon premier. My eyes were like following him floating by without words; I finally yelled out "Richi" and he turned a smiled. At the end of the night when everyone was coming out I saw him again and yelled "Richi, I'll see you on March 4" and he turned and gave me the peace sign. (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/cool.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/cool.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/grin.gif) I'm already excited about seeing them next year. I bet you are too! And so cool that you got to see him at the premiere. (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/grin.gif)

Busy again too. Two-day conference out of town this week too, yesterday and today. Very, very good. But now I'm (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/yawn.gif)

Mamakin MAJOR (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/hug.gif) it's so good to see you posting again. (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/grin.gif)

Spook glad Pip likes her glasses. (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/grin.gif)

Well, I have tickets for the 1:00 p.m. showing Sunday of New Moon. Taking the grandgirls.

And I am about to give you the most dangerous cake recipe in the world! The reason is that It only takes five minutes. So you are only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake. I had all the ingredients, including some whipping cream. How could I not try it. Not bad!

5 Minute Chocolate Mug cake

4 Tablespoons (T) flour, 4 T sugar, 2 T cocoa, 1 egg, 3 T milk, 3 T oil, 3 T chocolate chips,. A small splash of vanilla extract.

Using a large coffee mug (microSafe), add dry ingredients to mug and mix well. Add egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in milk and oil, mix well. Add chocolate chips and vanilla. Mix. Put mug in microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. Cake will rise over top, but don't be alarmed. Allow to cool a little and tip out onto plate. Eat! (This can serve two if you want to feel slightly more virtuous). If you like chopped nuts, throw in a handful.

Had a craving for something sweet. This did the trick. Went nicely with the peppermint icecream!

I know. Shame on me.

Probably got hungry baking pies for Thanksgiving. Did an apple pie (now frozen) and two single crusts for pumpkin pies that I'll mix and bake Thanksgiving morning. Now all I have to do is buy groceries and clean house. And I have nearly a week to get that done. Felt decent today so I made the most of it.

Spook - Am so glad Pip likes her glasses. Have you seen the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books? Wonder if they are something that would catch her attention.
Gonna call it. (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/wave.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/wave.gif)

Spook~ Yeah, I finally tossed my VSH tapes of Farscape as I don't even have a VCR hooked up anywhere. So I have Original ADV releases, then the Starburst editions, a few of the UK editions and the VCDs. The nice thing with the new set is it's TINY! It's packed into 5 inch thin jewel cases. I figure I can put away all my other sets as back up and I gain OVER 2 and 1/2 FEET of shelf space.

Glad Pip liked the glasses. I think they are easier to see with than contacts.

OK Grrrrr! (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/mad.gif) don't be telling me how y'all have finished your Christmas shopping. Grrrr! (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/whip.gif)

Sushi tonight (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/grin.gif) yummy! Phillip is body clipping Lance tomorrow. YAY for not having to do it myself. The only bummer is Vin already needs to be done again (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/sad.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/wave.gif) I went & saw New Moon today right after I got off work, & I was very surprised that I got in, since it was a PA for the kids at school today.

so at 1:15pm showing. Oh! & the previews for movies had Robert Paterson & Emilie DeRaven In a new movie called Remember Me. I put that info on the news thread, but wanted to repeat here, since a lot of people would come in here first eh. (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/lol.gif)

I liked it, but found it way too long & dragged on too much, too slow for me, the first one was like that too, but I never thought all of them would be like this.

I don't know I'm giving it a 60% chance that I'll go see the next one ( Eclipse) in the theaters, I might as well rent it.( okay I will most likley see it with a friend ,next year like really I lye to myslef too much. (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/lol.gif) ) Sorry but I think the "Media" Hyped this movie out way too much.

I should run & hide now eh (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/nod.gif)

I did enjoy it, but I wanted it to go a bit faster. I thought the story lines of Bella & Edward him leavingt here lasted way too long. I wanted to see more of that covent ,in that church or whateer that place was.

I think that Dakota Fanning did an excellant job as that mean "Jane" charecter. but then all of them did good.

I laughed so much, when ( in one part of the movie). "Jacob" took off his shirt, the bunch of school girls a few ailes ahead of me, where pratically going"nuts" over his 6[pack, & then some. (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/tongue.gif) He did look good. but I thought afterwards if this guy put on 30 pounds of muscle for the movie, then this guy was a bean pole to begin with & smaller frame guy. so:thumbsup: for Taylor he worked exstremely hard for this role.

I liked the "leader of the pack" guy, he was so nice & helpful to everyone in the movie. except of course "Victoria". I'm still mad that they won't have her in the next movie, but I supose they do this sort of thing all the time. (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/rolleyes.gif) . (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/sad.gif)

Onto other news, I got over a cold & for a week I was good, & now I'm back to the cold. I was planning on getting that flu -shot but now I have to wait until next week. I went out every single night this past week, & went to work for the only 2 days I had. next week I have 3 days of work, a little bit more $ but not a whole lot.

I had to "cash in" $40.00 of my American $ so I went to Value Village, picked up 2 jackets & a shirt for me, tons of t-shirts for the boys & then yesterday I got a t-shirt from Stitches for my neice, I don't know if she will wair it, as she goes for "brand name labels",( I , of course never did) but so it was only $5.00 so no ;loss for me if she doesn't like it eh.( money wise I mean) (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/lol.gif)

My Mom had a wonderful time in T.O. showed me her trophy & cheque $ she got & she had a suitcase , not lying here! of perfumes , make-up, Canadian 2010 Oylmics scarfs, & a teddy bear,.

Alll I can remebr for "names of the stuff" are " Pretty" perfume( I asked if I could have that for christmas, as she wanted me to pick out "anything I wanted", but like always I felt guilty asking, so I just got that one item).

I did get some "samples" so a roll-on perfume.( I tried to find it, but I can't remeber where I put it ). & a sample of "Burberry" perfume.

I know she got that blue box perfume, that was in her booklet she got.

anyways, doesn't matter really.

I bought Mom that DVD of "Momma Mia" but she already had it, so I returned it & went to walmart & got her 2 pairs of slipers , she loved them, so that was her B-day gift.I also bought a $25.00 for dinner to"4" different restraunts, but I know that she will go to Swiss Chalet for it.

I don't mind that place, but I enjoy KFC better, just gota have my grease eh! (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/thumbsup.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/rotfl.gif)

Okay I will have to go back & answer all of you so I'll post up anotherone soon.

(IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/wave.gif)

I haven't got 1/2 mine done, I would if I had $ so I have to take it slower, yet agian this year in getting gifts.

But I am going to spend even less this year. Last year my budget was $700.00 I am going to go down to $600.00 or even $500.00 would be better. But I plan on getting all my Christmas ornaments ect, out tommorrow & I am still thinking of selling off my tree, since the cats got into last year, & ( since I only decorated it 1/2 way up., left the botom 1/2 bare), Tiger still managed to get sick form "eating the tree". he's so bad eh, so yeah I don't weant to spend $300.00 on him agian this year, plus it's not safe or fair for the cats eh.

when I had my dog, that little christmas tree I had on the coffee table, gosh he would knock off the tree, then eat some & pee on the rest, it was so "grosse". so that tree went, & I got another one, ( normal size one, so 5ft) & he stood infront of it & peed on that too, & none of those dog sprays work, same with the cat sprays. ,so it's not worth that heartache too this year. Mamakin good to see you here again. (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/grin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/grin.gif) Welcome back. Don't be a stranger. It's still ok here if you can wade through all of the Twilight poo. (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/lol.gif)

Two days of rain here. Quite a difference from the summer drought. We haven't caught up with the needed rainfall yet but it's not as bad as before.

Hugs to everyone not feeling quite right.

Have a good weekend.

Later....
