I had a coupon, and had won a gift card so by the time all that got applied they were only like $3.26, but for the record it was payless, I get a lot of my shoes at payless.

Greetings, Troops! (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/wave.gif)

Still alive, but barely, heh. Things are still not going well over here. It means that I can only work at the computer for very short bursts of time.

I apologize for not having the prizes up and the new round. I'm still working on them, albeit at a snail's pace.

I hope you're all doing well.

And (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/skep.gif) where are THOSE plan reviews, eh? I did mine. hmmn?

I do promise to try to write a review, but I'm with Xenite and will have to re watch 1st, hopefully in the near future here.

I just haven't been feeling in the mood for reviewing...life's a bit hectic and rough right now.

Hi Troops! (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/wave.gif)

Quiet around here. Hope you are all okay and enjoying whatever weather you have. It's been warm here lately.

I'm doing a little better so I will try to be around more. What's been going on?

Cool. It's always great to get a bargain.

Thanks, Xen. I'm afraid I'm going to have to put a short hiatus on that because I'm not really able to do as good a job on it as I'd like. Unless someone else wants to take over, then that'll be fine.

Oh yeah, rewatch is good. I'm not there yet. I'm sure that I'll have more to say. (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/tongue.gif)

Yeah, I'm okay. Just a lot of deadlines and most of them involve some kind of writing, so I've been putting out a lot of words; makes it difficult to find more for a review. Although I could probably just edit the one I posted on LJ and use that here.

Good morning, Troops.

Just wanted to share a bit of random kindness while I eat my banana and yogurt.

I sold my 4 Hardcover Twilight Books (yeah, don't ask me why I even bought them. I'm gonna plead temporary insanity) by posting them on craigslist for $25 for the whole lot. I got several offers since I was practically giving NEW books away, only read once. I picked this single mom of 2 who really wanted them for her sons and we started chatting about pregnancy and stuff. When I went to meet her to hand over the books, she had this wonderful gift for me: a large pink scented bear for Peanut. (which might be odd if Peanut happens to be a boy). It was really sweet of her to do that and totally unexpected. It made me quite happy. There are great people out there and you may never know it. (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/smile.gif)

Aww! That is so sweet. And despite the poor literature quality, I find it kind of cute that she's giving the Twilight books to her sons.

As it happens I like Twilight. I'm actually very excited to go and see it with my sis at Midnight on Thurs, plus we are getting Sushi before which I'm excited about. Kudos for you though Sarah for selling them so someone else might enjoy them and that was really nice of her to give a stuffie for the baby. On the topic of babies I'm pretty sure that there is something in the water or going around the office in which half the claims dept and at least 3 of the girls and a guy that I work are all expecting babies. Actually since half of the claims department are expecting most or have had babies and out on leave we are currently behind on our claims. The real question is though did you have a chance to recruit her?

Yeah, I remember you did, and I'm sure you already have the books.
Ooooh, SUSHI!!!!! I love sushi. It's a no no while you're pregnant. Well, raw fish is anyway. I indulge with California rolls which are the only things my stomach can take anyway. It's pretty bland.

Thanks, Ky. I try to resell books all the time. I keep them in great condition so it goes new to a new owner. It was really sweet of her. She was wonderful and so grateful to have found them cheap. She's a single mom and was laid off last year and just recently employed so she's tight on money. It's tough when you have kids too b/c they expect so much for the Holidays. So she was very glad. I think she was supersweet.

That's ... scary? Watch out, if it's in the water... (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/shock.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/tongue.gif) I hope that doesn't mean more work for you though.

Ah, no. She's not a BSG watcher so there was no way in. (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/sad.gif)

Why am I not surprised that you had tried? Sushi was great. I really need to learn to eat with chopsticks though. I must say I'm exhaust and have been informed that I apparently need to get out more.
