I really liked this episode. The trip was very funny and for the first time I didn't hate Jenny.
Dana- I hate Tonya and want her to die a horrible death. How can Dana honestly like her? How can you go from perfection (Lara the Soup Chef) to this psycho?!!! (IMG: style_emoticons/mediablvd/puke.gif) What is she thinking? I will get down on my hands and knees and beg and plead for TPTB to bring back Lauren Lee Smith. PLEASE!!! Even though "Ralph's" face was pixelated she was kinda hot! (IMG: style_emoticons/mediablvd/lol.gif) Maybe they could bring her into the story next season if they don't bring back Lara. Maybe she could bump into Dana at an event and they could hookup. Maybe they could cast a big name to take the role.
Alice- I think I saw the green eyed monster when Alice realized Dana was hooking up and when she found out she was with psycho Tonya. This ep also showed alot of why I love Alice. She was very funny last night. I loved it when she ditched her mom and made everyone jump back in the car and drive away. The part when she pushed Jenny back down and dove onto the bed when Dana walked into the room.
Jenny- Like I said, I liked Jenny in this episode. She was actually enjoyable in this episode. I liked how she was a kid in a candy store at the event.
Bette- Why? Why? Why? I'm probably biased becuase I adore Tina but Bette is just wrong to be hooking up with that carpenter.

Well, i don't have seen this episode but i 've read some details and i'm angry about Bette's character ! It's so stupid to change Bette's behaviour : tina has lost her baby and bette want to **** with Candace. It's great no ? i'm very disapointed about this story board and the turn of the events. What's a pity. The L Word deserve better;

Man That was a good episode!
Bete/Candance- (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/eek.gif) I can't believe I didn't see anything with them, everyone was like \"Yeah did you see the chemistry between Bete and the carpenter?\" I can't believe she did that...I say that Bete and Tina will always love eachother, but their just not IN love with eachother anymore.
RoadTrip-hahahaha dude that has got to be the coolest thing! It was fun to watch them just hang out. And Alice was hilarious in here! I also thought it was funny when she pushed Jenny back and then tackled Dana. Jenny, I always liked Jenny and she was cool in the ep. Telling her coming out story when she's all drunk...lol MY mom thinks that shane wants Jenny, just to do it with..but I dont know, she says she sees things, how Shane is all i dont know! But I don't see anything...but who knows...
Dana-Well that took me by surprise, I thought it would end up like it did with her and Jenny. But it didn't and soon she'll see that, that person isn't for her. I mean she doesn't like CATS! bleh...
Marina- WHERE IS SHE?! They showed her once and a couple of times in flashbacks...I wanted more of her and if Francesa left or they're fighting some more.
I liked when on the roadtrip that they all shared their coming out stories, it was nice to see the past of them all.

I loved this episode so much. It was defintely one of the most fun episodes to watch.
The road trip was great, we got to see all the girls hang out and bond. Shoot i wish i could find an event like that in New York! (IMG: style_emoticons/mediablvd/grin.gif)
Alice is soooo funny, i love her character. Is it me, or did anyone notice how jealous she looked about Dana hooking up....I think she may want Dana for herself. For all of you worried about Dana staying with the freak, i wouldn't worry to much...theres no way the writers would keep that loca on the show...she's just nuts. LOL @ her saying i can't believe i'm going down on Dana Fairbanks...she's too crazy. She's pretty, but i don't like her at all...i want Dana to hook back up with Lara or even better hook up with Alice! They'd be great together.
Jenny was defintely more likable this episode. You can tell by the things she said that she still has feelings for Marina. I was getting so hot when she was describing her coming out story with Marina...Marina would have had me like that too! (IMG: style_emoticons/mediablvd/cheers.gif) I just love Marina...that was the one thing that bummed me out...is that i didn't get to see more of my precious, beautiful Marina. Hmmm, UGH and that girl Jenny is gonna hook up with is busted! That's like going from Filet Mignon to a happy meal!
Is it me or did Shane look like she was about to tell her girl that she loves her on the phone...but she hesitated, i think she's fallen in love with the married chick. Quite interesting, epspecially since her daughter wants to get with Shane.
Tina - Her coming out story was so sweet and so sad at the same time...just because i know Bette is gonna crush her.
Bette - Damn she just looks more and more fine to me...DAYUM! I know everyone will probably give me lots of slack for this, but Candace is hot and i was soo into thier chemistry together...although i feel bad for Tina. They are probably gonna go at it. You can see the way they look at each other...and that kiss was muy caliente!!! I like the way they look together.
Then again she didn't sleep with her, so maybe she'll feel super guilty about it and not take it to that next level. Poor Tina, i really hope once she finds out she goes and sows a few oats herself...payback is the ultimate biatch! |

I also think that it is a realistic situation. Despite the loving moments that we see every once in a while, there is always that underlying feeling that Bette is not really happy. |

This episode was definitely one to add to my list of favorites. Loved the road trip scenes, eveyone's coming out stories, their version of "Closer To Fine" on the second scene when everyone's tired of singing it, and leaving Lenore. I enjoyed the Dinah Shore scenes. We finally get a glimpse of different varieties of women.
Even women with..........short hair! ( So, that's where they have all been hiding! (IMG: style_emoticons/mediablvd/eyebrows.gif) ) 100 footers as Alice puts it.
I'm not sure if I like this psychotic Tanya chick. Although she not's so bad to look at, she's way too bubbly for me. I'm not even sure if Dana is into her or not. She seemed taken aback by her in some scenes. That was one funny sex scene though. Tanya had me laughing with the "Omg, I can't believe I'm about to go down on Dana Fairbanks" line. You kind of get the hint that Alice may possibly have feelings for Dana. She seemed a bit jealous in some scenes. (IMG: style_emoticons/mediablvd/skep.gif) What was up with Tanya not returning Alice's leftover change for the gas? You can just smell trouble....and why did Dana even bring Tanya home with her? They've know each other for what....a day or two?
I have a feeling they will be renting the good ol' u-haul real soon. (IMG: style_emoticons/mediablvd/lol.gif)
Okay now about Jenny....how unrealistic was that scene at the dress all in white party? Now I know it's just a television show but how many adult women do you know that will start chanting "Tell it, Tell it, Tell it!" like they're back on a junior high school playground again to a complete stranger?! I really like the pairing of Jenny and that lovely (IMG: style_emoticons/mediablvd/eyebrows.gif) trapeze artist though. (what was her name again?) I can't wait to see how that story will play out. Will Jenny bring lovely (IMG: style_emoticons/mediablvd/eyebrows.gif) trapeze artist around Marina? Will Marina get jealous? Oh, that could be fun to watch!
I must say that I was surprised that Shane did not pay any attention to the thousands of women that were there. She was even back at the hotel watching a movie with the gang! She must be developing serious feelings for Cherie. She even called her from Palm Springs!
I was shocked about Bette and Candace. (IMG: http://fool.exler.ru/sm/bur2.gif)You could tell it was coming since the previous episode but I can't believe she would do that to poor Tina. But what on earth was Bette thinking?! (Tina/Bette) make an adorable couple. I was hoping that Bette would slip and say something about that kiss when Tina put her arms around her from behind. But I guess you also could have seen this coming with the change in mood from Bette the past few episodes. I don't like how she treats Tina with the way she snaps at her so maybe this is all for the best. Things look like they are about to get ugly.

I could not believe Bette! How could she. I had such faith in her and Tina, they are adorable together. And it crushed me even more how Tina is gaa-gaa saying when she looks at Bette what more could she ask for. I was totally dissapointed but it has looked like it would happen for the past few episodes (IMG: style_emoticons/mediablvd/sad.gif) . Sad sad.
As for Shane can we say LOVE. I thought she would be hooking up with every Jane and Sally on their trip but no one! Who would have thought!
Dana needs to please wake up and smell the foney baloney! What a groupie that chick was, hey but at least Danas getting some!

other than that, i agree with everything you wrote.
hate tonya. i'm hoping shes just a rebound fling. i agree with your idea. the only way i am to accept anyone other than lara with dana would be if "ralph" as a cameo. i'm not saying i would be happy, but if they ain't gonna bring lara back and if they are gonna make us settle, they best do it right.
this episode is the reason why i stand b this statment: alice rules. jus alone when she got her period and how covered it up by saying that she's a women. classic. and how she kept on randomly taking picture. (and my homies make fun of me of always having a one time use camera on me wherever i go) but i did find it kinda curious that dana came out earlier than alice. that was a nice little suprise for me. that was the toy in my breakfast cereal
here's the thing why i'm so upset at bette. given a little flirting isn't cheating. given am an advocate for the whole "look but don't touch". given that she told candace that she had a girlfriend. candace made the move on her, so don't blame bette for that. but did they have to show us that tina's coming out was because of bette. it hurts so much more that way. bastard writers really know how to f*** with the audience. shows how super good they are at their jobs.

I can't believe Bette could do that to Tina. They are a great couple, they seem like they get along really well. they need to work on their relationship and not throw away 7 years especially for Candace the carpenter, she is nothing special.

Ok, I have a question. I'm in PA, and for some reason when I taped TLW last night, I got some stupid movie instead. Did anyone else in PA have this problem??? I called the cable company, they sent a guy out and there is nothing wrong with my cable, or so he says. If anyone else had trouble with this, I'd love to hear about it.

i loved this episode!
crazy tanya - i think she's beautiful, finally somebody with a little meat on her bones. (IMG: style_emoticons/mediablvd/wink.gif) she's obviously crazy though. (IMG: style_emoticons/mediablvd/twisted.gif) and is it just me or does anyone else have doubts that she actually works for the hotel? she just kinda popped up out of the blue and then she was all over dana like white on rice. but i think dana's a little fragile and a little ego rub goes a long way.
i guess my attraction to bette makes me excuse her bad behavior. it seems like no matter what she does, i just want to keep liking her. (IMG: style_emoticons/mediablvd/dupe.gif)
alice's mom is hilarious. does she ever tell the truth? does alice know that she's lying? and you've gotta love alice for letting her mom ride with them on their way to a lesbian spring break.
and i think that it is perfectly in line with shanes character to fall for the one person that is unavailable to her. of course she loves her.
and last but not least jenny. this was the first time that i ever felt sorry for jenny. i agree that she has to take responsibility for the choices that she made. but she is right, she turned her life upside down because of her feelings for marina, but marina's life is basically intact. i've been there. when you look around and think ' how the hell did i end up here?' and theres nobody to blame but yourself. Great episode..the road trip brings back great memories of some of my adventures....made me realize how much I miss them..gotta go on one soon. They were so funny...I am liking Alice more and more each episode...she is so true to her character.
Shane...definitely in love or as close as she has been since sharing her cookie (coming out story).
Dana....I mean I love the naive act but I think she is not all there with this Tonya girl..She can have her pick of the litter and she is into that...oh wee it does add spice to the show....and she hates cats...poor Mr. Piddles.
Bette and Tina...as much as we hate it I think at this point in the relationship if a fling is not thrown in there we will die of boredom from these two. I hate the idea of infedility but face it by reading past postings many seemed to think that something was needed with these two to pick of the pace of their sotryline...well it looks like we got it. I have faith that while things may get a bit shakey..I think that they will endure.
Now my favorites..Jenny and marina. I hate that Marina seems to be getting less and less air time. I lovedf her expression when she found out Jenny was going on the road trip with the girls......too good! Jenny drives me nuts most of the time...but loved her last night. I aggreee with the comment about being in the "candystore" that summed that up in a few words.
For a summary of the new kids in town:
Robin (trapeze girl) great analysis to Jenny about getting back on board even after heartbreak((my words not hers)...loved it.....she may be jsut the ticket to get Jenny and Marina back together again.
Tonya......where is Frnacesca when you need her...could you imagine a going out with those two....forget it not a pretty visual.

that was yet again an episode that i enjoyed very much.. yes yes the car thing was kind of cliche but it was fun hearing about all of the girls coming out stories..
is it me or did you guys hear that Alice and Bette used to go out?! crazy.. i didnt know that.. it was when Tina was telling her coming out story in the hotel room and then Alice said something like "it was right after me and Bette went out..." i was kind of like.. whoa what did you say? he he he
what is up with Dana's "new girlfriend" .. i want to slap her and then send her to the mall where she belongs.
Bette and the kiss.. what was that? i was expecting her to stop and back away before it actually happened.. but no..she didnt.
overall it was a good episode yeah?

LOL I can't help it, I wasn't feeling her at all! All out "L" girls are so fly, that the girls that they hook up with have to be up to code! That chick just wasn't cutting it. I agree, she defintely has some big shoes to fill in Marina's absence. |

I actually got to see the episode on Sunday.. Here are my thoughts:
I thought it was interesting that Shane has been into girls since she was a little girl. The other stories were typical, except for Shane and Tinas.. actually.. I thought it was interesting that she was going to marry a guy and she dumped him for Bette. And Bette is the only girl that she's been with...question is, will she stick with women after they break up? Here are two things I thought was interesting about the stories: 1) you find out that Alice and Bette went out.... I don't think I read anyone else who caught that little tidbit. 2) I don't think Tina is that much of a lesbian... I think she only really had the hots for Bette... but she did consider what it would be like with only Bette being the only woman she has been with... who knows.. but there is that question which lgirl would you want as your wife.... Tina would totally be mine! (IMG: style_emoticons/mediablvd/smile.gif)
Dana... I saw that coming... especially after she was beating away all those girls hitting on Dana. But what the hell... the girl is psycho... and why doesn't she go back to Lara... I mean they even said it in the episode.. her instincts with women are terrible except for Lara... hell thought she hasn't tried to get her back.. that is terrible!!! Bring Lauren Smith back! Oh... imagine how similar her story was like her mom... I mean she was about the same age.. her moms thing was horseback riding and Dana's was tennis.. the only difference was the girl recipercated her advances.. I can see Dana getting with the wrong girl because she is very inexperienced.. I mean I remember when they figured out the matrix with Dana, and she only had been with 2 girls (at the time.. but now it's 4 if you don't count Jenny)
Jenny: I think the writers are trying so hard to make her likeable... but I don't think they'll ever do it in my mind. Though I thought the "lesbian wanted" shirt was funny.
Tina: poor Tina... I'd take care of her after her and Bette break up.. (IMG: style_emoticons/mediablvd/smile.gif) What will she do? She was wanting to be a homemaker... that's what I think is so unlesbian about her. I don't think most lesbians want to be that.. Yeah I saw the chemistry between Bette and Candy... thought I think it would have been funnier if Bette had hooked up with Yolonda.. the angry black chick... ha ha just kidding... (IMG: style_emoticons/mediablvd/tongue.gif)
Alice... yeah I am so glad she had her period. I do like the idea of Alice getting with Dana (if they aren't going to bring Lara back...sob sob) I liked her punk-chick persona in her story... Like I said.. Alice would be good for Dana if Lara doesn't come back (but bring her back anyway!)
I dunno if Shane is in love... she seems more kept to me... talk about being the wrong woman to be in love with.. I mean I doubt RA is going to leave her hubby to be with Shane. It's like that story all the time where single people with a married person who claims he/she will leave their spouse and they don't. That's what I see will happen there.
And I'll get to see L-word on Sunday again woohoo! I'm in Kentucky, and my hotel room has Showtime.. that's why (IMG: style_emoticons/mediablvd/smile.gif)

Actually, the first episode announced that Bette and Alice
use to date. If you remember, when Alice is explaining
the board to Dana, Alice tells Dana that she can link anyone.
Dana throws out the name "Tina" and Alice says, that's easy,
