GC is cool, as all of you obviously think, but they were even cooler when they weren't quite so attacked by people.
They were much more approachable the 2 times I met them.
The first time I saw them play was when they played with MxPx, they weren't really big yet so it was really easy to meet them at the show.
First I met joel, who was *really* nice although, GC being my favorite band at the time and the first band I met, I made a fool outta myself and had problems making sentences as my sister would point out if I didnt say it now. (IMG:

Well, I talked to him a bit, got pictures and all that fun stuff. and standing a few feet away was benji, not that anyone recognized him, the passive fans only knew the pink hair and he had a hat on. I talk to him, gave him a picca, and he said, 'thanx thats really sweet', I got piccas & signatures and Hugs.
I went outside and met Billy, who was *really* nice, I asked if he knew where Paul & Aaron were and he directed me towards Aaron.
Aaron was sweet and I got piccas with him too. And he directed me to where he believed Paul might be, but no luck, I ran into Benji again and got another hug, asked him some boring questions, and endlessly searched for Paul, then I was forced to leave by my uncle, go figure, no meeting Paul that time.
Okie, that was generally time #1, then the 2nd time, generally went the same, Benji, remembered me a little bit, and Joel was sick so I didnt see him again, Aaron was gone, so I met Billy, who is always *very* awesome, and then I *finally* got to meet Paul.
My sister & I patiently waited to talk to Paul, because at this time the number of fans they had was begining to increase with the release of another song and video on MTV. Just as my sister was about to ask him to sign something some obnoxious girl shoved her way over and said, "sign my sock" Paul looked at her, then at my sister and was like "No, she asked first" and then got piccas with my sister and such. Then when I got up to meet him, I explained that I drew him a drawing but lost it in the mosh pit.. (I kinda got knocked over in it).. and he replied with "That's ok, I'll draw you something" and after signing my cd booklette drew me a lil doodly guy. *hurrah* I got piccas and such and that pretty much concluded my night.
GC, (next to like Sugarcult) is one of the nicest bands I've met, but I havent had the oppertunity to see them again ever since I got on the guestlist and couldnt get a ride to the show.
Oh well, I'd love to hear some other people's experiences with meeting GC too!!
