Thanks for the post VG. Great to see Katherine cast in a new movie. Looks like she will be a busy lady during her break from Grey's which is great news. Just a guess but I presume that is when she will be filming. The first movie - the 40 Year Old Virgin - was a big hit, so hopefully the sequel will build on that. It is also good the same people are involved with the project. Looks like fun. Can't wait to find out more (IMG: style_emoticons/mediablvd/smile.gif)

Katherine Heigl to work on "Knocked Up" after "Grey's Anatomy" By Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith 'Grey's Anatomy" babe Katherine Heigl will be heading straight into shooting the big-screen comedy "Knocked Up" as soon as ABC's megahit reaches its quickly approaching season finale. "It's with Judd Apatow, who did 'The 40-Year-Old Virgin.' I'm the knocked-up one," says Heigl with a laugh. 'It's crazy because I have to wear, like, a big prosthetic belly the whole movie. I'm of age to be having children, but it's just a weird concept to me."
The actress, who plays Isobel "Izzie" Stevens on the hit ABC series, admits, 'It's a little rough going directly from the show to another project. I wouldn't have minded a little vacation. As grateful as I am to be on the show, and as wonderful as it is, at this point, nine months in, I think we're all a little burnt out and tired and we need some new scenery for a few months. I'm sure we'll be chomping at the bit to come back."
As for what we can expect in "Grey's" upcoming episodes? "There are some big changes and I'm excited as an actor to play all of this stuff that they are beginning for me, but it's also hard to watch my character go through what she's going through. I don't want to give you more than that or they'll kill me," responds Heigl.
In the meantime, she's just enjoying the ride. "My career seems to have finally gotten to where I don't have to worry about it so much. It's not as much of a struggle so I can enjoy it more and relax into what it's become."

I hope it comes to Singapore cause 'The Ringer' never did but I'm hopeful.

Universal Pictures has posted an extended synopsis for Katherine's new movie "Knocked Up": Synopsis
On the heels of 2005's blockbuster The 40-Year-Old Virgin, writer/director Judd Apatow again mines hilarity from the relatably human in a comedy about a one-night stand with unexpected consequences: Knocked Up. Katherine Heigl ("Grey's Anatomy", "Roswell") joins Virgin alums Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann for a comic look about the best thing that will ever ruin your best-laid plans: parenthood.
Allison Scott (Heigl) is an up-and-coming entertainment journalist whose 24-year-old life is on the fast track. But it gets seriously derailed when a drunken one-nighter with slacker Ben Stone (Rogen) results in an unwanted pregnancy. Faced with the prospect of going it alone or getting to know the baby's father, Allison decides to give the lovable doof a chance.
An overgrown kid who has no desire to settle down, Ben learns that he has a big decision to make with his kid's mom-to-be: will he hit the road or stay in the picture? Courting a woman you've just Knocked Up, however, proves to be a little difficult when the two try their hands at dating. As they discover more about one another, it becomes painfully obvious that they're not the soul mates they'd hoped they might be.
With Allison's harried sister Debbie (Mann) and hen-pecked brother-in-law Pete (Rudd) the only parenting role models the young lovers have, things get even more confusing. Should they raise the baby together? What makes a happy lifetime partnership after all? A couple of drinks and one wild night later, they've got nine confusing months to figure it out...
