Getting to Los Angeles in the early 90s, Jeffrey Dean Morgan has appeared in numerous roles in both movies and TV shows. Some of his of his roles include stints on "ER", "Angel", "The Division", "JAG", "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", "The Handler", "Tru Calling", "Monk" and "The O.C.".

After years in the industry, he found himself in three high-profile shows, playing, simultaneously, John Winchester on the WB hit series "Supernatural", Denny Duquette in ABC's hit show "Grey's Anatomy" and Judah Botwin in Showtime's "Weeds".

His recent movie career includes an independent film, "Jam", opposite Marianne Jean-Baptiste, William Forsythe, Tess Harper, Jonathan Silverman, Amanda Detmer and Alex Rocco. He is also co-starring with Michele Hicks, Ever Carradine, Orlando Jones, Ben Mendelsohn, Sarah Shahi, Brooke Adams and Tony Shalhoub in the upcoming movie "The Adventures of Beatle Boyin", which is due to release during 2006.

According to a new interview, JDM will have a small part in a new movie, starring Lisa Kudrow and Teri Garr. Shooting will start in Austin, Texas, in a week. No further details yet.

And since the interview basically deals with 'Grey's Anatomy's'... All non-Americans, consider this a spolier warning!

I can't help it - I find all three of the Winchester men to be so intriguing. And that includes John, even though there have been so many times I've wanted to jump into the TV and shake him for not realizing the damage he's done to his boys. But I do believe he loves them and tries, and would do just about anything to keep them safe.

I had no idea that JDM had been in so many shows. I actually saw that episode of The O. C. he was in. It was a very small part, just one scene. I didn't pay much attention to it last season when it aired (largely because it was part of a storyline that annoyed me when it wasn't boring me silly), but when rewatching the season recently on my DVDs, I noticed instantly. It was the voice. I wasn't paying much attention (again!) but suddenly he spoke, and I immediately turned around to the TV thinking "That sounds like Daddy Winchester!" The moment I always think of when I think about John is the one in Shadow, when Dean asks him how he's going to manage to actually kill The Demon, not just exorcise it.
