Dirt, Discussion of Carly's new show. Options

Hey, just watched the Pilot episode for this show, it looks really good. Look's like Carly's attached herself to yet another brilliant television show. Just thought I'd open up a thread so we can discuss her character, and the show.

Has anyone else seen it yet? I know most "regular" posters aren't in the States, but there are other ways of seeing it... what'd y'all think?

My fiancee and I watched it and i liked it. he was pleasantly surprised. I loved the schizo! Cant wait for Carly on it (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/smile.gif)

I was pleasantly surprised as well. I didn't know what to expect, but I definitely was drawn in. The schizo totally freaks me out, but I also completly enjoy the character. You can tell that he's kind of a ticking time bomb, which will be good for keeping people on the edge of their seats. I can't wait till Carly comes on and gets her twork on! be interesting to see our girl in a more glamourous/adult-type role. slated
for 6 eps as far as I can find so her character could have a pretty hefty
story arc--especially if the show stays geared towards "scandalous partying"
and "clandestine blackmailing/enticment scams" (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/tongue.gif)

so is Carly back down in Hollywierd now?--um, not to appear all stalkerish or

the first epsisode with carly will be a week from tonight on 1/16. from what i have read, she is good in dirt. i think it is an ok show. i liked the pilot and i am just waiting for the show tonight. i think it has promise. also, i think carly will stick with indies. i don't see her in many hollywood films, although i'd like to. the schizophrenic is the best part of the series until carly shows up.

Hmm this weeks' episode was not as impressive as last weeks. I am already bored with the Holt character, I think thats why this episode was lacking for me, that and I am massively freaked out by Rick Fox. *chuckles*

But did any one else catch the promo spot for this season? Carly was in one of the first clips shown, pretty awesome.

Spambot, I don't think Carly is down here, unless they're filming some more episodes. You remember how much she disliked living here in the first place. She probably crashed at Bibby's or Tammy's for the couple of weeks of shooting. (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/wink.gif)

K i've watched half of the first episode and theirs a lot of sexual content in there, is it like this in the other episodes as well?

Okay-dokay. Just watched the 3. episode. Carly was nice, not that I expected anything else (tho I was carly-spoiled by youtube where that episode is concerned). On the negative side, I just don't seem to get a hold of this show and frankly it kinda sucks... (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/look.gif)

Yeah Sandi? Nice that you like it. My problem with Dirt is actually that I don't know what the problem is! (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/confused.gif) At some point while watching the third ep I kinda felt that I don't like the story telling, it's so jumpy, meaning good scenes there and there but it just feels like the eps are not building themselves into wholes or something. Well whatever the reason, if you would cut off the Carly bits, the show would leave me freezing cold. (IMG:style_emoticons/mediablvd/no.gif)

Gilthanas, I understand what you are saying. There seems to be a lot of fat that needs to be trimmed on this show. That is not to say that I dont like it, I like it a lot (except for how annoying it is that the entertainment business is exactly how the show portrays it).

I was hoping that there was going to be more Carly, looks like in the next episode she'll be in more than two scenes!

I've only seen the clips on youtube with Carly, so I can't comment on the show as a whole, but damn, if she were offering, I'd take/buy/do anything! Yummy...
