I don't know, there's been a lot of songs that actually brought me to tears.

Everything - Lifehouse - It was just so beautiful.
Summer of '69 - Bryan Adams - Sad.
Concrete Angel - Martina McBride - Having gone through the same thing, it did bring a tear or two.

Anyone else?[/b]

I Love You This Much by Jimmy Wayne gets me every time. bawl.gif

I was reading a letter from my sister who I havent seen for over two years and I'm really close to her and while I was reading the song 'Every Step I Take' played on the radio and I started crying then.

The song's always touched me, 'cause its got such powerful and meaningful lyrics, but the fact that I was reading a letter from my sister made it even worse.

I nearly cried the first time I heard 'Mad World' by Gary Jules, I was going through a bad stage of my life...

It really depends on the situation my life is in at the moment or what songs really have an effect on my mood and whatever Im going through at the moment but "On Bended Knee" by Boys II Men always seemed to do the job well.

Also, a few Brian McKnight songs.

There's been alot of songs through the years that make me cry, but not all tears are tears of sadness. Some tears are because the song touches my heart or moves me a great deal.

Songs that made/make me cry:

Roberta Flack's "First Time Ever I Saw Your Face," when my daughter was first born in 1975

Same thing for Elton John's "Blue Eyes" after the birth of my son in 1981

After my father passed away in 1990, Roy Orbison's "In Dreams (I Walk With You)" and Bette Midler's "Wind Beneath My Wings"

Glen Campbell's "Wicheta Linesman" (The line, "...and I need you more than want you, and I want you for all time...." always gets me.)

Josh Groban's "You're Still You"
Alix38
The song didn't, but the Hold On video did by Good Charlotte.

Warrior is a Child by Gary Valenciano (you can probably do an mp3 search in kazaa). it's a soulful ballad about being strong on the outside but crying on the inside. gets me everytime... sad.gif

Lately I’ve been winning battles left and right
But even winners can get wounded in the fight
People say that I’m amazing
I’m strong beyond my years
But they don’t see inside of me
I'm hiding all the tears

They don’t know
That I come running home when I fall down
They don’t know
Who picks me up when no one is around
I drop my sword and cry for just a while...
Cause deep inside this armor,
The warrior is a child

all sarah mclaughlan songs

I totally second this!! Sarah writes the most poignant, relevant lyrics I've ever known and she sings them beautifully. In particular, her songs Full of Grace, I Will Remember You and Angel bring tears every time.

I'm trying to think what else does it... I'm sure there are more but Sarah automatically comes to mind!

I take some songs to a deeper level, so i cry(although i dont like to)

Soluna- I'll Be Waiting for You (not radio released though, its on the album For All Time) but the song blows my mind

There is a Xmas song called Christmas shoes, its so pretty

A group called Forte(from Hawaii)- "Remember the Hereos"---I'm from NY so it flows

Coolio See u when u get there
(both from my Grandpa's funeral) frown.gif
Majandra Delfino singing Amazing Grace

"River" by Joni Mitchell. I had just broken up with the first boy I ever loved...and it wasn't even Joni Mitchell singing it. I heard Robert Downey Jr. (who, by the way, has a hella voice) singing it on an Ally McBeal soundtrack...and I just fell apart. Ah. Good memories. sad.gif

Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) by Green Day ~ It just reminds me of all the good times I had in college and it was something that played a lot right before I graduated

I Will Remember You by Sarah MacLachlan ~ I love when this is played at the end of the DC episode You Had Me At Goodbye, and it always makes me cry

My Immortal by Evanescence ~ Such a sad song, but so beautiful. When I heard Amy sing it in concert I cried.

That is all I can think of for now.

It's Enough Now - Mandalay

You know

You know
There's still a sense I
Have you've stolen these days
All your love is here

If love is given in to
Hope you're fooling yourself
It's as if you knew knew knew all along

It's enough now
It's your loss now
It's just that I'm low
It's enough now
It's your loss now
It's just I don't know

You know
You steal the sunlight
How you steal your own scene still
Oh no no you're reasonable
If hope is given in to
How we need to be now
It's as if you knew
You knew all along

It's enough now
It's your loss now
It's just that I'm low
It's enough now
It's your loss now
It's just I don't know

I Will Remember You by Sarah M.- gets me everytime...

Two Beds and A Coffee Machine by Savage Garden--the melody and the lyrics are so emotional

Hands Down by Dashboard Confessional (the slow version)- I love this song, it's so sweet and romantic!

Amazing Grace

When ever I hear it I just cry for no reason. It's only her version too, any other person that sings it gets no reaction from me. Just hers!

Tears In Heaven ~Eric Claptin~
The Dance ~Garth Brooks~
Pruska
Jeremy by Pearl Jam

Best song I've ever heard!

You just something is happening by the way Eddie Vedder sings the chorus - I read the story behind the song later on, and I wasn't surprised.
OneLastCry
'Fire and Rain' - James Taylor. It was on the radio when I came home from my auntie's funeral (she wan't technically my auntie but i thought of her as one) - and that song totally opened the floodgates then and it still gets me going whenever I hear it...especially the line 'I always thought that I'd see you again'

'Emily' by Beth Neilsen Chapman is also incredibly moving.

I also second the two below:
