: Hi Everyone!! I thought I would start off a new topic, of the movie "Sugar", because in the next feww weeks, to months, we will have a lot of news to report., & really think this needs to be here, instead of the "news Thread".All considering, if Moon, & Spook,& Brendan are okay with it! Please be!! I've had all my last "new topic's" closed.

Okay So This is going to be an exstermly long post, which will cover the beging, of my "journey" to the very end". Also Keep in my mind, I have got my ticket,for the re-screening so more news to report next Sunday night( agian maybe very late, since my bus came in at 2:30am, with another cab home, settled it, It was 3am or later, until I posted , this past Saturday!

Okay I know, Shut up,& get on with it!!

I missed my 10;30am bus! since I was on here But I caught the 1:30pm bus, arrived in Toronto at 3:20pm, & I asked to get off at "Richmound Street", since I was "avoiding" Younge Street,altogether.But I stopped 7 talked to a nice guy, & after hearing ,or at least trying,I had to , by no choice, go up Younge street.( The "Drug dealer, was on his phone very P*** & swearing, like there was no tommorrow, & then that "park" across the street, is the "Crack Park "Central",

So I make my way up Younge, knowing that it is going to be a long "hike", but whatever eh! I was so "into" seeing this movie, & still not thinking I'd meet Brendan, But It would be nice, So I stopped on my way up, into stores, that I've never been in before.

By the time I got up to the strret I had to be on, it was3:55pm, so in all concideration,I did make it up earilier than I thought!!

I went to the box office & asked "loads of questions" about the movie, askede if brendan would be theere, by any chance??( Okay I "slipped that question in) He said, he didn't know( figures eh!!, like why do you work here, agian if you don't know??,That was all in my mind, I never said it to him! ) I said okay well How does this "Rush Line" work? It's my first Festival I've been too.

So I then loked at my watch, & stood in the line-up, so I did go into a store, & browse but in over all, I was realy waiting in line, for 5 1/2 hours, plus the 1 1/2 hours bus ride up!,& then the walking.up Okay This really cute guy walks past me, I just smilied & say Hi! He said Hi! & winked at me, I freaked out,( in my mind of course) ,some good looking guy did this to me, ugly duckling??that I am, Oh My God!

I went up into the chapter's store, & No S***! I was looking at a magaizine right in front of me, & to this day I "swear" it was him! That guy, from the up & comming movie "The Day after tommorow" Sorry if I get this wrong, But I think his name is "Jake Gynehall" You know, who I all mean right? That cute guy, with the snady blond hair, "spikey Mikley do"

I then came back, & had only one person in line to tell , who I just saw.

Then I had to use the washroom,( about 15 minutes later on) & I was sent over to the "Four Seasons Hotel". & That place is gota be a 5 star, like all "Ritzy Ditzy" eh! Gold coloured everything, & marble floors( Thank god, I never slipped, because it was pouring outside, & believe me, it hurts like the dickens, when you fall on the marble floors, Why people have them anyways?? Oh! Ya! I remeber now, so it looks great, fancy & all rich ect.Ha!!( Sarcasim there Folks. ).

I ended up talking to this lady & then another one, anyways, One of them said, just 2 weeks ago, I spotted "Laurence Fishboune", He walked right past me& is he ever shorter than I ever thought, He's about 5'8" & in the movies he looks like he's,over 6 ". Then I told them about Jake, & then about this movie I'm going to see, ( because they asked me if I was on vacation too ect,) & Then i pulled out my "Calender" You know the one I mean?? & This one lady says, Oh! Cute But to young! The "oldest" lady said "No, Not for me! God he's Hot!" I almost "died of imbarressment" Like This Lady was like 70ish!! ( ) okay she was mid 70's! that , was scary for me, anyways, ( i'm sorry i know some of you are older, but like not 78 -80).

She then said, hey let me get a good look at him, so she hold the calender, "while turning it 360 degress" I thought Holy S*** This is so way outa there, ya know, Shoot, I don't even do that. Anyways, She laughed & said my grandson started teasing me,the other day, about some young guy looking at me, & she said that "Watch this, I'll have that guy "eating outa the palm of my hand". The other lady laughed & said "Good for you, when the oldest one said she "made it happen".

That was it! I had to get outa there, gosh darn it, It was funny but I was more "intereted in" getting back in line,I did go downstairs at one point & get my ticket for next Sunday then I found out the "Re-screening "SOLD OUT" .an hour ago.Awsome eh!!

So I get back in line with another guy infront of me.. ( I knew I would be the only female at this movie!!! )Thank goodness another girl showed up.But It was great talking to this one guy, for like "hours".


It was pouring outside on & off all night, & at one time I got all soaked.

So all I was worried about was My "Apperance", I couldn't hid the fact that I'm 30 pounds over weight, but damn the hair is such a B***** to keep the curls in,ect. You know, How we all, have to look our "best"!!

This one girl comes out, telling me, I think I heard that that guiy from "Roswell" was downstairs. I said nothing, as I didn't believe a word of it, not one.

So I was standing in line, & like by now, I only mentioned about why I was seeing "Sugar",ect. to only 2 people, because I just realy didn't want to tell everyone, I don't know, It didn't feel right, to have to tell the whole of T.O.( Just the world, on here right! ). But then a lot of guys were comming up & after I told them My name, they all seemed to "know" my business, Like WTF eh! Unbeleivable, how news travels, I really wasn't too "impressed" about that, but then it came into my head, as it went back out, so what eh?? The annoyence was gone, in abouit a hour later!

This guy said to me, My friend couldn't make it, so I have an extra Ticket, do you want it! "Like yeah Man" Thanks, So I gave him the $10.00 & went in the "other line-up) ( which was longer, & in the windy rain), I got soaked agian!) Feeling crapy about that, I just wipped that outa my mind too, as I was too excited to see this movie, & I wanted ( hopefully) to get a front row seat. So what were my chances in that, with like 50 or more, infront of me.

Igo in, & get this.... "Front Row", It was so awsome, i mean, I went past the "reseverd" seating, for the Directors & 26 guests)( I found out that earilier on, that's how many they are allowed to have), so guests, could be "anyone", okay Actors, Family & friends, ect.

I sit beside this one guy, & gosh he was so funny, & really by now, it was so clear that I was the only female in the audience, except for two partners( girls) & other ones, I'll mention later on, in this post.

It's that you got to see 'Sugar'!

Gosh I hope nobody posts, while I'm finishing up my post here.!!

So I sit down beside this guy, front row, & then we talk about Brendan, he's saying more really I know most of the movies( off by heart, & remember I was up so very late the night before, couldn't sleep) up again, etc.

He only knew him by Roswell, & I think another movie, I can't remember. (I gave him this address, so I hope you come in soon Buddy! Ha!!). Then the announcements were about to begin, after John B, John P,& Damion Nurse, came up, John B, said we have a few actors, from the movie, so I was getting excited, because I was like "a foot away from the stage". Andre came up, & Man, he's got just the most lovely hair, he looks the same as in the movie, he's even the same height too, etc. You know I'm trying to be so in detail here,

Then The one girl came up, I don't remember her name,& then Sarah Polley came up( I knew for sure ,she would be there, because she is filming a movie up in Toronto right now),& another guy, No Brendan!!!

John B, said that: Unfortunately, our other leading Man "Brendan Fehr", couldn't be here tonight. So there goes my hopes ( again eh!) shoot!

So then they spoke some more, I was just too shocked to see the actors that close to me, standing on the stage eh! Never happened before to me! It was funny though, Because Andre, was looking my way( probably because I was looking at him, & listening to John, B, beside him", But I think by the look, he was thinking "How Strange to see a single girl here", It doesn't look right? Ha!!

Well You know what I mean right?

Okay the movie is starting, & they have these ads on, & like gosh I don't know the last time I've seen so many men's frontals before! In a few ads!! gosh that was great!!

So the movie starts, 7 & they have some "parts" of some guys , a's & D's ,& I don't know, for sure, because of what Mr. M said awhile back, but there wasn't supposed to be any "frontals", so either
1)I was too close to the screen,
2) They "docked the picture" you know, my face on your body"
3) Or they made a boo boo. either way, My eyes were totally peeled to the screen!

Okay so I will go into detail here, but I will have to put words in ( ) Or short form letter's.

I didn't see a "rating" on this movie, but with what I saw, it's gotta be restricted, or AA( Which to me, I don't agree with that rating, on most movies, they should be a R, but really folks, there really isn't such a rating anymore is there?, what I've noticed.

This is basically like the script, but they left out some parts, one I do remember they left out was the fight in the alleyway with Brendan, & someone else. I'm certain they left out about some things( scenes) with the girl, in the apt, with the disability $,But I'll have re-read it ( the script) to make sure on that.

For those of you that haven't read the script, or even if you have 'em, you can either pass, this next posting, or scroll down to the ending of my book!

Cliff is eating his lunch, under a tree, & watches a guy, & a girl kissing, the camera's goes in to there mouths, French kissing, & biting, teasing, ( ya know eh! ) & then takes out his red licorice in his mouth, while watching this intense kissing going on over there! (It's Butch & a girl)

Some close up's & erotic pictures his mind.( I'm putting that in short form,)

Cliff is outside the school, in the back j"n" f & then his sister cookie, a 12 year old "ADHD' & is all talking away, & Cliff has his mind on other things. Confused & outraged, Cliff has panic attacks, while his sister is playing a video game talking all the time, & then says he is frustrated because he needs so "action"( ).

So there is more details I'll leave out,& then you see Cliff( Andre) blowing out his candles, & it's at his house, where his Mom & Little sister( Cookie) are sitting. Then Mom gives Cliff a gift, & his sister says "open it", so out comes a skateboard, for his 18th B.D. ( Also this movie has "blank-outs. I don't mind this at all, but for some of you guys, you might get confused, with what I say okay). 

Then he goes into the bedroom, where his sister gives him his B.D. Gift. It's a box, with a bottle of Vodka ( sweet! ) , a joint,& rubbers, & a subway ticket. she says to him, You drink the booze, you smoke the joint & you go on the subway, you go downtown, & go get some sex. so he laughs, & hugs his sister .( I can't remember if he says thanks or not). He is on his skate board heading towards downtown.

Slowly gets off his skateboard, & see's these "rough looking guys" , you know, street kids ones smoking thru a pipe. then stops & watches, Butch( Brendan) taking a P on the fence, then the camera goes in for a close up, so then he still watches ( cliff) Butch, turns his head, & starts to laugh!( I'm leaving out a lot of "details") sorry but if I wrote down all of this, then it will be daylight!) Cliff follows Butch, saying it's his B.D. today,

Then you see them making out like intense kissing, & then screen goes kinda fussy black, & then you sort of see them again, But okay it's dark inside, so there really isn't any "shadows" to see ,etc, like you night see in other dark rooms, You know what I mean right folks!

So then you see Butch pull away from Cliff, Butch goes down the alleyway, & Cliff asks him if he wants to get a coffee or something, Butch says no,( while leaning against the wall).

Then you see Butch sitting on a step, with a bunch of other guys, all around, you know,( one guys smoking thru a pipe). & then Butch says to Cliff, "get the f… out a here", as a car pulls up. Butch then puts his finger out, ( F) & sideways motioning the car to keep moving on.

Then a girl pregnant girl comes around, kissing everyone on the head 7& asks Butch who is this? Butch said his cousin.

Okay I can't remember much more into detail, so I'll just make short forms, because it's getting late here,& I have to grab the script to be "reminded" .Ha!

So you see the both of them getting stoned, making small conversations,

Then you see Butch & Cliff running away from a car, & end up in the middle of the street, with a few hooker's & trannies on the other side, & then a "brawl starts out after the brawl& then you see some of the "ones that ran away" inside a tavern, smoking crack, & joints, & making out.

Cliff is now talking to the pregnant girl, while taking pills,& everyone is so high, etc.
Then cliff goes to the washroom, see's & hears a "business" going down,& the guy in the stall, shows the guys( older men) his P. & then some few remarks.

Butch is holding out a birthday cake, & is now in a limo, with a few other guys, & an older man, This older man saying this is the best B.D. & blows out the candles, Cliff mentions it's his B.D. too. The guys in the car, start to remove there clothing, & Cliff starts to, & then hesitates. You see a guy showing this older man, what he has,& slowly peels away his underwear, seeing all the glory ,Cliff joins in, with the rest of the guys, & the older man.

Cliff misses his bus, so is now staying over night at Butches place, Then Butch goes into the apt, with Cliff behind him, & then after cleaning up, & a few more essentials are being done. ( cat litter being cleaned out, garbage out etc.) The then Cliff is in the bathroom, & looks into the shower at the shampoos. etc, 7 then butch comes in the shower stall, & they start to goof off, & then they are now, undressed, & Butch is trying to get a bandage off of Cliff's arm, ( from the fight, broken out ,earlier on, the night before) & then They start teasing, about how the scissors hurt him. so Cliff pokes Butch with them & You see a small cut on Butches chest, & tells cliff to F'n stop, while laughing away.

Continuing here!

Then you see them both eating Ju- Ju-Bees, & then they are now on the mattress lying down together, pants on only.

Later on in the day, you see Butch saying he has cornflakes, & then he offers them to Cliff. They both sit down at the table, & then Butch says to Cliff, "Do you mind, if I J off I feel horny", so Cliff, says sure, & then Butch proceeds, 7 then says it's much more fun, doing it with a friend, so they are both doing this, while eating cereal, with the other hand, It's actually pretty hilarious, I laughed so much thru this movie!!

Then you see Cliff's mother preparing a meal, then the next thing , she's in the car, while Cookie is in the middle seat, turning around & flirting with Butch in the back seat, & Cliff is beside him.

They eat dinner, have some small talk & then go to the bedroom, while Butch is got his hands on the wall, while Cookie is painting them, with yellow paint, & then small talk. Nighttime now, Butch watches Cookie while in the doorway eating strawberries,& then has small talk, & then cookie hands him a joint, more small talk.

Then the next day back at Butch's apt, there's a knock at the door, & some older man comes in, & has to start the dishes, & then has small talk with Cliff. & then Butch comes out, sees that Cliff is doing the dishes, & then yells at this older man, & then the older man gives $$
to Butch, Then Butch goes back into the bathroom, shaving.

A plate breaks, & Butch comes out swearing & freaking out on this older man, the man gives him more $$ & then hands Cliff a whip & then the 2 of them are talking & then Cliff is getting "whipped", understanding the game.

Butch is now eating potatoes chips. while knocking on a door, a big woman opens the door, so then his eyes pops open, small talk goes on & on, & then you see Butch leaning over the freezer, while this woman is taking his picture, she tells him to turn this way & that.
Then he's on the bed, with this woman, & no more details, you get the idea, what goes on next.

Butch is now on in Clifff's garage, Butch is smoking a joint, while Cliff is looking at the picture, of the lady, & then is saying something? I think it was Cliff who was amazed at what Butch just did, & he did it for $300.00.

Cookie is sleepwalking, & the 2 of them follow her to a store, 7 then she comes out of it, There's more details I left out but just reg. talks, etc.

Okay then i remember that Butch & Cliff are in an apt, & Butch is saying to Cliff to calm down, this is business, some 40ish man opens the door, & has a few conversations, & then as the time goes by, with small talk, you then see Butch whispering to him, Cliff says no, Butch says it's business, whispering, he wants to only watch, so the Butch is on top of Cliff, ya know the idea,

That really was a hard part of the movie for me to watch, it was really "nasty".

Cliff says after that he doesn't want to see Butch ever again, & storms away,

Some things happen, you see how Cliff is depressed, & thinking about when he 1st met Butch, etc. Months goes by...........................

At the schoolyard, Butch asks Cookie for him to buy one of her pills, she can't help him out, He looks sad, walks away, but he also looks like he's "coming of drugs.

He later phones Cliff over to meet him at this place, & then He shows up. & now Butch has shaved his head, like he wanted to do, & there are 2 older men in the room, one is a boarder, & another one is his friend?

So Cliff looks like "What the heck , you look like S**" looks & talks, Cliff & Butch go into the kitchen, Cliff wants to take him away from this, Butch wants some kind of drugs, but Cliff doesn't have any, so then Butch starts "losing it" screaming & crying & freaking out, again basically like it is in a rehab, okay.

Then Cliff leaves, as he can't help Cliff, Then Butch freaks out & then smashes his hand thru the window, & then watches the blood slowly seeping outa him, & then the next scene is the funeral, Cliff goes up to the coffin, & Then Butch comes "Alive" says "we had some good times" & Cliff says "Yeah" then looks away, down the aisle, where his Mom & Sister are; turns back,& Butch is lying still

Cliff is sitting in a small cafeteria, with his sister, & then she says that guys watching you,& then Cliff goes & introduces himself to this guy, said he just came from a funeral, of his boyfriend, & can't believe he's "looking" already so soon, for another relationship, & then they go to the washroom, & make out. Then Cliff comes out of the restaurant, kisses her & they go there separate ways.

Okay So that's the whole story & nothing but!! Ha!
Okay Really I did leave out a quite a bit, but I wanted to give you some details & then some not, so But anyways, guys, I hope you get to see the movie, it is so great, & funny as all too!

I really do beleive that Brendan should get a huge award for this, truely a gifted actor indeed. I mean with this movie, but really in all his movies, I've watched, such amazing talent ect. also without even speaking, he has the most amazing "Facial Expressions",eh!

I'm thinking Oscars here!!

So after the movie, the q & a's started, so I only remember 2 things, because I had to get going, or I'd miss my bus home. But John B, said he was very thriiled with al the actor's & really I got the "impression" he was exstremely overwelmed with how wonderful Brendan was.

The DVD rental comes out June30th/2004.& that the movie overall costs.

so that's about it, I will answer all your P.M.'s later on today, it's now 2:06am, & yeah, I've been on here since 9pm.

normal life - he Hooks to get money to stay alive - he meets Cliff who

in the end what happens id Butch brings Cliff on a JOB - the old guy
likes to watch - Butch has sex with Cliff and Cliff freaks out and

the guy that comes over and does the dishes is a job - he breaks a dish and WANTS Bren to yell at him - he pays Bren to scold him for breaking

in the end is the guy that LIKES TO WATCH - in the script Bren and
Cliif go over in Hockey Uniforms and Bren tells the CUSTOMER that Cliff iS his Wing man on the hockey team .....

WOW Good review Lisa Have you gotten to see it yet? I guess you don't know much about the DVD release? I wonder if we'll have to go thru special channels to get it?

No, I haven't seen it yet. Truthfully, I'm not sure that I will. This type of film really isn't my type. The subject matter is so alien to my personal "comfort zone" that I think I may have a difficult time relating to it. I did watch the trailer, and from the clips I have seen, Brendan's acting was superb.

I'll just have to wait until Childstar and The Long Weekend are released to get my Brendan Fix Hopefully we won't have too wait too long.

I like dark movies but this one I will prolly only watch once or twice. I think from the reviews it went a bit further than I was thinking it would?

I'm delighted the film is getting some good reviews - especially as far as Brendan's acting is concerned. I can't wait to see it! (But will have to, of course..... )

Thanks for the review, HMQ! Sounds like you had quite an adventure, too. From your description, it sounds like Brendan got a chance to flex his acting muscles and show his range. I'll bet some parts will be hard to watch, but I'm really looking forward to seeing it.

According to IMDB Childstar will be released this fall, and The Long Weekend will not be out until 2005 (hopefully early in the new year) I would guess the trailers would be out a month or so before then.

They are both independent productions and will probably go to the film festivals before they get wide distribution. When I talked to one of the producers of The Long Weekend, he was already looking for a distributor to release the film.

Hey all,I'm Baaaack!! Ha!!

So Spook & I went to see sugar agian( for me I mean!) & it was good the 2nd time around, but not as much "nudity", in the commercials weren't as much either, That's kinda odd eh, since the "premeire" was like so different!

Still It was great!! Oh! I "nabbed" a poster, I hope someday,( before hell frezes over! Ha!! ) I'll get to talk to Brendan, & see if He'll sign this poster for me!!

Okay, back to "reality" now... It was really good, & the crowd laughed so darn much( & so did I) But the opne thing, that the "company" that was running the festival, welll they forgot to place out the "ballots", so Unfortuanetly, guys, knowone could place there vote cards, in the ballot box. A little on the "disorganized" side eh! I mean, reallly I'd have it all out & frigging balloons over the top of it, you know, like a "real" display should be like. Not these "lame a**" ones eh! Oh, & lets not forget how the "pencils" never work, What is that with ballots anyways, eh???
I mean everytime I put in a ballot, the stupid pen needs to be sharpened!
That, of course if I was setting it up "properly", would never happen. I'm to much organized, & perfectionist eh!!

Okay, so Spook doesn't have any internet access, & will be busy this week, I supose, but I will bring a pen & paper,& ask her if she wants to say anything, to the boards now, or wait until she comes home!

Oh! I think she is just so wonderful person eh! I met, another great person, thru this site, very indeed! Although the poor girl, was so tired, from her flight, she did manage not to sleep thru the movie! Yeppee!!

Ya, so I'm going to go, sorry it took me like an 1/2 hour to get into here, because silly me, turned off my computer( by accident) & the dumb thing wouldn't go even turn on the screen, all the beeping noises, must of really annoyed everyone in this building eh! Oh! well too bad! No! I'm just kidding with you all! okay.

Gotta go, got 2 houses in a row to do tommorrow,( then I can "replace" the $ I used off of my Visa, back on it),just a little minor no no I did!

vinity, & blue Angel, well ya, it looked different, then the 1st showing, but I mean that the nudity, for the commercials, weren't as many, & it did seem to go faster than the 1st showing. There is still some nudity in it, however, the "balck shots, of going in & out", weren't there, this time around, werid eh!!

I mean, they wouldn't have time to re-cut it, in the week would they??

I just thought the 1st showing, was a little more better, I don't know, but It was still awsome, & everyone in the crowd enjoyed it,Unfortunately, the people at the "Insideout" didn't have that poll booth there, so know one voted for it, so I don't know if it will still win an award or not. But it should, I mean everyone seemed to enjoy it. I did the second time around too!

T- I'll be going up probably sometime, Saturday,I'm not sure what time,ect. But I don't think I can go to Niagra, with them.I'll take care of OCF, for at least the one day!!

I wish, you could of come up too!Maybe in Sept.?

Thanks HMQ - Hmmm maybe they did recut it.... or maybe the ''commercials'' were not part of the film. Isn't it unusual for movies to have commercials?
At any rate, I hope it does well at the festivals and makes it to the theaters and to dvd
I found out to late that I could drive it in 5.5 hours ; maybe next time .

Blue Angel- Yeah, You know come to think of it, I must of got to watch the "director's Cut", maybe on the 1st viewing , & not the 2nd time around, That's the only thing I can think of, that makes more sence eh!

Oh! 5 1/2 hour dirive, gosh that's a long drive, but yeah, maybe you'll be able to still see it( in N.Y.) you still have a week to decide eh!

Well ya, you know, there was quite a few more commercials, than on movies at the theater, & then of course more nudity, But The 2nd timea round, there is still some nudity, But overall It still is a great movie, I liked it the 2nd time around,I think I will get the DVD when it comes out too!

I don't know if this could be of any help but the page found for NewFest In NY (the Festival that's hosting the US primere) has a banner up representing TLA Video:

I think that could be it, but I'm not too sure, I'd check back there if anything but nothing's up yet. I'll be sure to ask questions this weekend (Sunday) and see what I can find out (as I have a few questions I plan to ask anyway)

Her accent also gets stronger when she spends all her time with two friends from Doncaster, that have very strong accents The poor Canadains don't seem to be able to cope with our accents at times Although they seem amused when we refer to female waiters as "lass"

Sugar... I enjoyed it. It's not an 'enjoyable' film in that sense of the word - it is dark and about a subject that can never really be 'enjoyed' IMO. But it's well-made and makes you think. It's also funny in places. Brendan, and the guy that plays the other lead role, do excellent jobs. I might be a little biased in the opinion... but I don't think so...

"Arty" films of this sort aren't usually my cup of tea, but I did enjoy this film, and would watch it again. I think I'll seek out the DVD. It puts across a strong message, and does it with 'taste' rather than gratuitous sex and drugs. I thought it was very good - very well made.

I would say more, but I should be working... I found a free interent connection at the conference I'm at so I snuck out of a boring talk to come a play (and email home )

Now there's a marketing opportunity for some entrepreneur to exploit - subtitle screens! They would instantly translate any dialect - yes, even extreme exhausted Yorkshire!! - into the vernacular of the location!


That's good to know - because, having read the script, I think it would have been possible for a director to push it in the 'gratuitous' direction if he wasn't careful.

moon, sorry about the double posts, apparently my computer hates me this morning and i'm dragging.

Just got back from NY from the US primere and it appears from my understanding that the so called edited version is the film everyone will see. I'm not sure about too much except I know it was the edited due to the pictures on the walls as HMQ pointed out.

I was shocked, and even after having known what to expect after all most a year it still had be queasy in my seat a little. Not for the faint of heart, I'll say that much. The entire two theaters were filled and no one out of the production came (if you were curious) though the highlights of the evening (for me personally) were as follows:

1.) Informing someone of Brendan (who he was, and owning up to Fehrian standards )
2.) Explaining the film to someone (without ruining it) before the lights dimmed
3.) Showing off the Brendan tattoo I've has for about two months
4.) Brendan's name went by on screen (opening credits) and some guy let out this loud "hell yeah" it was amusing and caused me to turn in my seat more than once.
5.) Five would be the butt shot scene (self explainatory)

And finally after a long 6 hr train ride and laughing over most of the film with my parents (since my father didn't go) I'm off to bed, before I collapse.

I'm glad you enjoyed the movie, It was really funny eh! Wow! That sure was a long bus ride, J, But all worth it!

So, Brendan didn't go there either eh?? Ah, That's too bad, huh, but hey! at least you had the chance to meet him, last year, in N.Y. eh!

Another lucky person, in that category eh!

I think this is a fairly current review of "Sugar" (I checked the previous pages pretty far back and didn't see it mentioned, but apologies if it is indeed a repeat). Highly complimentary of Brendan, interesting observation that he sells sex better than drug addiction

Beware, it is a pretty detailed review (and bravo to Brendan on a certain scene described, I've got even more respect for his professionalism than I did before, and it was substantial before)--spoilers abound, so don't say I didn't warn you

HMQ- Aw thank you, I am a bit conflicted on if I enjoyed it or not, Brendan had be biting my lip near the end it's 1 day later I still can't manage words to any actual review (be patient with me, maybe later on when finally recover) and no, i didn't but the ticket guy said to contact tla and see what happens or there's another method i know of.
