Has anyone else read these books? I read all 6 when I was 13, and have never looked back since. My favorite character always was and still is Mouse, though I like DeDe too.

I have the DVD box set of the miniseries of the first 3 books, and I adore them though they aren't a patch on the books.

Anyone else here a Barbary Lane fan?

I've read the first book. But I'm more familiar with the miniseries. I really identify with Mary Ann Singleton the most. A small town girl trying to find her way in a big city. But really all the character are so wonderful.

i love them all to be honest such extraordinary in depth portrayed characters that each one could be in a book of their own. CHEERS for who put up this thread. Funny some of the thickest books i end up reading faster than short stories
