I was discussing this with one of my male friends last night and I was wondering...what does everybody prefer? Facial hair such as a beard or a shaved face?

Well it depends on the guy but I prefer a guy to be either clean shaven or with a goatee. I am not big on the full beard. My hubby tried to grow one in once but it just looked too weird on him so he changed back to his goatee.

Angie ~ Good topic! I am going to wait to see if maybe this will need to be turned into a poll! lol!! I prefer clean shaven - it is just neater and cleaner. Sometimes, my boyfriend will have a shadow after a rough day when I can tell me asking him if he shaved is not a good idea. But for the most part I prefer the clean shaven look - though a scruffy five o'clock shadow is kind of sexy! I hate beards though! Goatees look good on some guys but I am not a fan of them.

i usually like clean shaven, some stubble is ok, but the scruffy look on ryan gosling in the notebook, damn, he was even hotter that way.

I like scruff on certain men.

But on ones that I want to get close to? Clean shaven

Why do girls get offended when you refer to their facial hair? I mentioned it the other day to one of my friends and she bit my head off! Do girls forget they have eyebrows?

I like stubble...or clean shaven.
My uncle has a beard and the other has a tash and they make me feel sick. Sorry, but they do. Maybe it's 'cause they're not very well kept

I like both too, I mean facial hair can be soooo sexy. (Think Adam Brody), but you know, you have to have this 'vibe' that goes with facial hair. You gotta be able to pull it off.

i got a thing for facial hair.....stubble, scruffy, goatees, full beards, i like it all!!!!! his beard was the first thing i noticed about my hubby when we meet at college....he's still got one too....and has our whole married life!! hehe!! now, some guys just don't look good with facial hair, so don't even try, just shave. i like a smooth baby face too! i know, i'm hopeless

I'm definitely all for the clean-shaven look. Sometimes a gotee is okay, but only when it's obviously trimmed to be that way. I hate when guys just don't shave for a few days and make it seem like they are growing a beard instead of just being lazy.

I think men with something on them would be sexier than clean shaven, seems to squeaky clean. I think I would like them a little rough around the ages and they would probably have to have dark hair, rather than light else it goes all light and looks really stupid.

I like the clean-shaven look, that looks neat.
