My co-worker has 10 pekinese and she always dresses them up for halloween. Each year they are all something different.
arimi
our dogs hated having anything on them. they can't stand bandanas, t-shirt or even a collar.. so dressing them up for Halloween would be difficult.

Halloween isn't all that big a deal in this country... But I'd never dress my pets up in anything anyway. It wouldn't stay on them for more than a few minutes even if I did!
Jazz
My dog has been dressed up as Agent Mulder many times. smile.gif

I dressed up a horse that I was training for someone as Bulleye and I was Jesse from Toy Story. smile.gif

Spook grin.gif tell your Rat Halloween story lol.gif

Dressed up a pony in 1967 but I forgot as what. I just remember having to hold a sqirming pony while others went up and got the candy lol.gif quite the stash!

Had a friend who dressed up her FEI Grand Prix horse as a Reindeer and rode him around the neighborhood for Christmas. I'm pretty sure he STILL hasn't forgiven her lol.gif
Lena
Not for Halloween, but I tried putting antlers and Christmas hats on my cats for pictures. smile.gif

When I was working flea markets several years ago I had a little white dog named Fang who usually went along and I sometimes put sunglasses and a hat on her. She didn't much like it, she seemed totally embarrassed.

No way. I did try to dress my cat up for Christmas and she was not happy about it.
Loony 4 Lupin
Nope, but I always but a bow on my cat's collar at Christmas grin.gif

The most we've ever done is put a bandana on our German Shepards' neck. The cats wouldn't be pleased with anything (they hate their collars)

What Spook said - both regarding Halloween (it's not that big of a deal in Sweden either) and regarding dressing up my pets.

My sheep/terrier cross is large enough that my kids usually incorporate her into their theme. My daughter was Cinderella last year, so we rigged up a pumpkin carriage for Keltie to pull (don't worry, she didn't ride in it)...and the year b4 that my son was a sheik (sp?) and I made a hump for puppy's back to make her a camel. This year, she's going as an elk (with horns) for no other reason as that's what I made for her lol.gif I don't hurt her, and she loves the attention!
Peach Melba
No... I don't even dress up myself.

Halloween isn't really celebrated here...

I tried to once but seeing as they are cats it didn't go over to well lol.gif

we're having a fun fight at my house. should charlie go as underdog or a can of beer. he looked like a beer can with legs when he was under 4 pounds. now at 6 pounds he looks like scrappy do. i still think the beer can is cute. underdog works because he wears a diaper anyways.

I admit it! I tortured my poor little puppy dog and dressed her up! She's a Shih Tzu & only about 10lbs so I got her a "bad dog" costume! It was a black & white stripped outfit - that fit over her & a cap that went on her head - that read "bad dog"! lol.gif

I thought she looked great but I think my dog gave me a look that said I Will see you in hell thud.gif

Oh well I still got some cute pictures & it made the little trick or treaters happy!!
arimi
Oh.. i would love to see picturs!
WalkingOnSunshine
Sure thing Arimi! I will get one of my wiser people to upload or download lol.gif whatever it is called - hopefully tonight or tomorrow!

And Arimi - I was looking at the other messages & saw the pictures of your dogs!! Adorable!!!

Looks like it will be a few more days before the uploading of pictures takes place because I have to let those smarter than me do it lol.gif Ah but now I know the difference I know I have to upload not download!

I saw the picture of Chips - beautiful dog! And Cookie & Mac!! the t-shirts got torn up? Wonder why? shrug.gif I can't understand why dogs don't like clothes!!! smile.gif

Do you have more than one dog now? Because I am thinking about for Christmas buying another dog for our house - but I don't know what kind or such yet? I have started looking for research on what kinds of dogs get along with the dog I have to avoid any unnecessary roughness between them lol.gif

We dressed Britney up for halloween last year (2003 of course...the year 2004 is so new and fresh tongue.gif) But the thing that pissed me off was that her hat and little cape thing were too big for her..and my mom had trimmed her little cape twice. She didn't much care for it though
