With that said there are a few simple guidelines we all need to follow:

No profanity!
No pornography!
No bashing of other posters or the actors!
This includes, but is not limited to posting on threads of characters or ships that you do not care for! We have a 'Roswell Frustration! Venting, Screaming, And The Like!' thread for character bashing if you feel the need. But you MUST leave the actors out of it. Please use it and not the above mentioned threads.

PLEASE give proper credit when posting pictures or fan art to the photographer, artist, or site!
If you are unsure then say so.
Someone else may know who it belongs to and can help you out.

These are the rules you agreed on when you signed up as a member of the MB forum.
Please abide by them.

Post your views on Characters without starting a war please!

Please ask ‘specific’ Season questions on those designated threads. This thread is for topics referred to in the first post.

It may take some searching as we have MANY pages of threads on Roswell, but worth the time to search and will keep us from having to close a thread.

Couples Threads...
A decision has been made by Lori and lyric that we are going to have to limit the number of 'Couples' Appreciation threads on the Roswell board to one per couple in order to be fair.

The Shipper Board hosts all types of couples, CC and UC alike as well as Actor/Character ships so please feel free to post there as well.

We would prefer that 'anti-couples' not be posted on this board.

Keep the dimensions 100x100 (file size: 20480).


Banners and Signature Lines...

Images in a signature line should not exceed 100x500 pixels in total. This equates to no more than five 100x100 pictures (the same size as the avatars) side by side.

Where text is also used in a signature, this should not consist of long lists. No more than 2 lines of small-font text under a banner of 100pix height should be used. If no banner is used, the height of the text (plus spaces) should not exceed the equivalent of a 100 pixel high banner.


Closing Thread Post Count....on the Roswell board we close normal threads at 250 posts Exceptions are Cast News threads and Introduction threads, and others the Mods need kept open.

You know Roswell is such an important part of my life, I don't think I can remember what life was like without it, Ros boards or my computer. Roswell has shaped my life in many ways. It brought me closer to people I never thought i'd meet, especially since they lived outside of a 10 min distance of my house. I am very thankful to all that are behind bringing Roswell to the screen, even if that does include the WB. I have never felt more closer to anyone on screen that I did this show and in my heart, Michael, Maria, Max, Liz and Kyle became my friends and they will always be in my heart, as well as my bestest friends i've made because of them.

For me Roswell was a wonderful story of 3 special people. Yes, they were aliens, but I could ID with each one on some level.

Roswell has been important to me on so many levels. When the show first started was around the time my depression was getting bad. I was able to lose myself in the characters and it didn't matter what was going on in my life during that hour. It also inspired quite a few of Roswell-related layouts. And introduced me to some kindred spirits and awesome friends.

I have to ditto Nosee!

Why is Roswell special to me? Firstly because I love the story of 3 aliens trying to live a normal life in a world of humans. It intrigued me...

Second, because I discovered Brendan Fehr existed when I saw Roswell and that was a life-changing event because it's led to so many friendships.

I discovered the friendly environment of the internet (i'd only used the interent for work before). I doscovered message boards! I made loads of friends - and ended up travelling out of the country to meet up with some of these friends. Which led to my travelling - alone this time - out of the country for work (and to meet up with friends again ) and I've had so many wonderful breaks, meetings etc with said friends over the years. Some in Real Life, but many over the ether .

Roswell is a TV show that I still enjoy watching, but it was the key to the door of a life of variety and fun that I doubt I would have found had it not been for Roswell...

I just wanted to check in. Hi, it's Val or Vallygirl . I just wanted to say thank you to Lauren for the PM *hugs*!! The board is looking pretty nice.

Roswell touched me right from the beginning, from the day one. Actually from the first moment I saw. It was the moment in school (pilot) when Liz was asking where Max is coming from. "You're not an al... an alien I mean." and I was hooked... I didn't know anything about such show than Roswell before or anything I just changed the channel to Finnish Mtv3 when that scene was going on and... I needed two second and I was in love and here I am.

I haven't been writing on Fan Forum so much... but a little bit lately. FinnishRoswellian47 is the name there.

Oh wow, how does anyone answer such a tough question. Roswell was never just been my favourite show and it became even more when I found people I could share that with. People who didn't give me strange looks *cough-likemyfamily-cough*. The characters clicked, every major moment for them was a major moment for me, the pain was gut wrenching, the secret was my secret, the joys were mine and the big farewell? Well somehow that wasn't just my goodbye to Roswell, but it was their goodbye to me. I don't rewatch my episodes, I don't have a roswell desktop on my new computer, my roswell poster is off my door and I use my roswell keyrings without looking at them too closely but my calendar still hangs and my life's been changed. I don't have to think hard to know I'll never react to another show like this, songs will have special meanings, certain words will carry much more meaning and in my heart a silver handprint will always glow.

I fell in love with Roswell from the very first episode on October 6, 1999, when "an alien boy was in love with a human girl and risked his life to save her."

After that watching Max and Liz fall in love with all the obstacles and problems along the way is what kept me watching Roswell. It definitely has been an adventure and an experience that I'll never forget.

May Roswell live forever in our hearts and souls because I know it will forever live in mine.
