I seen Pam in Quentin Tarantino's film Jackie Brown. She f-ing rocks! I loved her in that movie. Her and Sammy J (Samuel L. Jackson) work really well together.

yeah I only saw about 5 minutes of that movie on Bravo
[mostly Pam rushing out of a store after paying for a Bette style

several times in October so if you say

It's a long movie but worth it. It's really good. Another great performance by Pam!

Okay, got nothing of any real significance to say here but a little earlier today I posted a comment in the "fun with pics" thread and I had Kit saying "baby girl" - it made me smile to think of her saying that. Kind of made me realise how much I liked Kit and therefore Pam Grier.

She kind of takes me on her emotional journey with her and I find her captivating. When they are all at Tibette's house and Dana and Lara are getting it on -I love Kits expression! When David didn't show up at the hotel I really felt for her. I'm not saying this well but I think Pam connects with the audience really well - so that you actually care about her charcter and what happens to her.

Just wanted to have my say about her, later............

I never had any clue she was in Love the Hard Way. It seems she pops up in a lot of movies I just tune in to.

Pam is such a beautiful and stunning woman with a lot of grace and class. She is wonderful in everything I've seen her in over the years and she gets more beautiful as she ages. I'd be happy if I looked like her at her age and I'n not too far behind. She is a wonder to watch and deserves more credit than she has gotten.

She doesn’t get the credit that she deserves. It’s a shame. She’s been a great actress for a long time. Pam Grier was headlining ass-kicking movies in the early 70’s when black women weren’t supposed to headline anything and production companies were only starting to figure out that women kicking ass could work. But most young people don’t know any of that. To most young people Pam Grier = Jackie Brown and Kit and that’s about it. So sadly this thread goes neglected most times.

If you love Jennifer Garner, Alias, Buffy, Dark Angel, Trinity in The Matrix, Kill Bill, or either of those plot-less Charlie’s Angel’s remakes; you owe Pam Grier some love.

Okay, I’m done with my why can’t Pam get no love rant.

Ok- just rewatched S2 ep1- with the Kit/Ivan sit- will Kit finally come out of the bi closet or what? I have ALWAYS loved Pam Grier since a kid and her being on the L word has added onto my intense love for the show...

so- my question is....
when Kit went to Ivan's apt and saw Ivan nude- she didn't flinch at all- does this mean she accepts Ivan as she is and is confused only when Ivan is in drag...
what do you all think????

I loved the scenes with Kit in the first episode.

Not sure if she really has genuine feelings for Ivan right now, but it's obvious that she is loving the attention that she is getting. It was interesting that she really wasn't showing too much shock when she was at Ivan's apartment. Then again, she knew Ivan wasn't really a guy, so how shocked can you be when you see that?

It should be interesting how the follow up with this storyline.
