Ah, so it comes out Dec. 2nd? I think that's the day before Pirates of the Caribbean comes out on DVD!

FF8 is my favourite of the series. Definetly. I can't really decide on a second, I mean 7 and 10 are both really good. I guess I don't care much for the ultimate plot of 10, and I think 7 definetly had a more intricate plot, but the characterization and character sub-plots of 10 were nice, and I mean, come on- those FMV were fricking awesome.

FF7 is my favorite of all time. The whole storyline and characters are great. And I think it has the best soundtrack ever. Besides...Sephiroth is the coolest villian ever!

Sephiroth is fricking awesome. Sephiroth & Seifer... after that... they became cross-dressers w/ weird hair. Well, Seymour's hair is cool but Kuja was just a bit too... Erm, his body was really girly. I liked Trance Kuja better, it scared me less because I am used to seeing creepy clown-like people.

I played FF7 and could not beat Sephiroth for the life of me. I got so fed up that I just stopped playing it. So now I watch my boyfriend play and just learn.

My boo and I are playing X-2 and it is really nice. This part seems more like for the chicks out there that love Final Fantasy. We've gone through like 5 missions but there seems to be no summoners, which sucks.

I started FFx2 friday, so far so good, haven't did much still on story mission 3, been leveling up and mastering the dress sphears for the most part..

I pretty sure that FFx2 doesn't have summoners, like I said I jsut started, and I haven't looked at spoilers..yet...

I'm playing FFX-2 right now. It's okay. I think the girl power stuff is a bit cheesy though. But it's okay. I've had to go back 10 hours because I missed some important dress spheres. I hate that. And I don't like all the mini games. Blah. But I'm liking the story.

As for Kuja...love him. I like him as much as I like Kefka. Love them both!

They got rid of the Video game board on FF, so now I'm here...again

My favorite is FFVII, I have X too, well I have 7, 8, 9 and 10..But seven is the only one I beat

I think I like 7 and 10 the most of the series (though 8 is the prettiest) I think 7 and 10 just draw you into the story like right away, but I got stuck on 10 because I didn't want to ride them damn birds so I could level up, but apperently you need them to get through the road :sigh:

Oh well, I'll do that tommorow, in the mean time I'm replaying seven, I'm determined to beat everything (get all ultimate weapons, all the summons ect) I spent hours and hours trying to get a gold chocobo the first time I tried to get it, I got two WONDERFUL birds, S classed them, bred them, and I got another stupid yellow one...it pissed me off

But Seperoth I beat in one try, without Knights of the round obvioulsly, but all my charecters were leveled up high (not to 100, but near there) I had Counter attack on all of my charecters and I levelled up on that island where you get Ethers for killing monsters...

and may I take a minute to say God Bless the people who wrote the stradegy guides, I wouldn't be able to get through FF if they didn't exist

LOL I've never read the strategy guides. I've only ever used walkthroughs on the internet.

My favorite FF are 9 and 10.

I can't play FF X-2 anymore. My ps2 broke...again.

Hi, I'm new here, and PEOPLE!!! This is an awesome game series! Let's bring this thread back to life!!! Are there no more FF fans out there? C'mon, you know you waaaaaant it. My fave FF games are FFX and X-2. I also like 8. 7 is pretty good. I also like 9. Just face it, I like all of them!!! But I think the first 3 are the best (VIII,X and X-2). Final Fantasy XI Online and Crystal Chronicles are now available in stores now!!! So there's more to talk about. Also hitting stores soon:

Hey guys! I was reading Electronic Gaming Monthly and I found 2 important infos. coming up about Final Fantasy:

1) Final Fantasy Mini-Movie: There's supposed to be a remake of Final Fantasy 7 into a movie with the characters as young adults. I don't think it'l be released in theatres, though. It didn't say when it'll be released.

2) Final Fantasy XII: The latest in the Final Fantasy Collection is supposed to be out in 2005. Here are some shots I found:

They've completely changed the battle system on FF XII. It's gonna be like FF Crystal Chronicles except instead of the hearts thing, it's gonna be with HP and MP, and there isn't gonna be the famous victory music! Oh and there not making a FF mini-move. It's FF7 Advent Children, which is a movie sequel to FF7 which takes place 2 years after the defeat of Sephiroth.

Hi Cloud_Strife. Welcome to Mediablvd! I don't know if I read it wrong but Electronic Gaming Monthly called FF7: Advent Children a mini-movie so I was just quoting what they said.

I wanna get FF XII when it comes out. Squaresoft is also coming out with a single player version of FF XI. I like FF9 cause it's so easy to level up. unlike FF8 where you need 1000 EXP to level up. I also wanna get FF VII: Advent Children when it comes out. I just rented FF X-2 like for the 3rd time last week. I got all the way from Chapter 1 to Chapter 3 in just 2 days! I also got the Gun Mage dressphere on one of my other files.

Hey, i'm a FF fan too! I'm playing Final Fantasy VIII right now. I love Rinoa and Squall! They're so sweet together...hehe. And i love Final Fantasy X-2 too. I didn't get to play it cause i don't have the game. But i have the movie though. I love Yuna, especially her clothes. lol. Anyway, who do you guys think is prettier? Rinoa or Yuna?

Hi! I'm a big FF fan! I've played FF IV, VII, VIII, and X-2. I just love them all!

Reviving of the FF topic? Oh yes.

I'm not so new to the story lines as I am to actually playing. The only game I own as of yet is X-2. I'm looking into X, though, and most definitely VII. My favorite Final Fantasy character is Cloud Strife. Not only is he the object of my fandom's obsessions, but he's that enigmatic character that draws fans to him. <3

I really didn't like X-2 because they're weren't any summoners. To me, that's the main reason why I like Final Fantasy to begin with.

Some news on Final Fantasy XI and XII:

FF XI is set to be released sometime next month and although Japan has already released FF XII just a couple of days ago, the U.S. wont be seeing it on the shelves until October - depending if they don't push the release date AGAIN.

I love FF VII, IX, and X. all final fantasys are awesome but those these rock! i'm going to put 7 on my xanga site if i can ever get it created. grrrr.

Gosh man. I loved FFVIII game just loved it. even though never got a chance to finish the game. Kinda sad can't finish it. Didn't even finish FFVII still kicking myself here. But managed to finish FFX really loved that game but the ending seemed touching.

The FFVII Advent childeran really liked that movie at the end all of the characters gathered all together fighting.

FF XII will be released on Halloween! I can't wait to pick it up!
