The YA board is dead, I've posted on most of the threads, and no one has been there in ages This board is more active (or so it seems) so I thought I'd bring some YA lovin'

I still watch my tapes Aly when I am cleaning my room or something. I never had the first 3 eps but Susana sent me them, I got to the second ep and my sisters laptop died

I still have my tapes, too! I break them out once in a while. I'd probably watch it more if I didn't worry about breaking the tapes from all the fast-forwarding to the J&H parts! *that was a hint to the DVD gods that we need a YA DVD*

I did the same, Deb and ruined my tapes. Thank God for reruns But I also downloaded them so I can watch in English which is way better than the Hungarian translation. I don't get that most of the shows are translated pretty well and then sometimes they come up with such a terrible one, and unfortunately YA was among the latter.

He is thinner...which is not really a good thing. He didn't have a whole lot "extra" to lose in the first place.

I can agree with you there. I've recently had the chance to watch Young Americans. A fan of Kate Moenning uploaded the eppies for me to DL and watch. I love the whole chemistry between them! So far I'm up to Winning Isn't Everything, I'm going to watch that one in a bit once it's finished DL. I love that girl who keeps telling Hammie and Jake to go for it! Throw caution to the wind and all that!

Just finished watching the whole series. What was with his hair? It started out all long and unpleasant (hello? Monkees throw back or what?) then all icky and black when he was peeing on the roof (WTF? Like, dude isn't there a bathroom just inside?) then to the regular length he normally has it. And, in the restaurant scene, the word "arcane" may have been in the script, but did everyone on set totally have their heads up their asses? Saying arcane instead of archaic is like saying boat when you mean cookie. Completely different words and meanings. Anyway, just loved it, there's something about bad television that's soooo endearing. I just know I'll watch it again, and again, and again. He's so damn pretty it should be illegal.

Hehehe, we all feel like that, I guess.

The pilot was shot a year before the series (in Atlanta), so they look a lil different. They reshot most of the school and out scenes, but the ones they could keep, they kept.
