Time to stop talking about starting a thread and just do it already.

Just thought these two need a shipper thread (if that means Friendshipper or Relationshipper remains to be seen ) but goodness knows they're meant for each other.

Anyway, I just know there's something more there even though Shane did blow her off. That lingering look as Carmen walked away must mean something. Oh the drama!

Thanks. That's actually the test version. I made a final one that's smaller that i use as my icon on LJ. I'm planning on making a new Sharmen themed sig but i'm still trying to come up with ideas.

I don't need any reason to rewatch Shane/Carmen scene except that it was so hot. I love the sound room scene.

I don't think it's necessarily "love" though. But i think there was some strong attraction there on both sides. Shane couldn't take her eyes of carmen either. Now the question is whether that attraction is strong enough for Shane to let her guard down and explore this thing further.

Of course I'm hoping she does.

Their interaction reminded me of something out of high school. It was supercute.

It was a cute moment for sure!

It was like Shane had opened herself up again after getting her heart broken. Then she realized it and tried to push Carmen away because she was scared of it happening again. It's sad, but it just makes the story that much better in the future.

I agree with the fact that it makes the story that much better, since the more you push away what you like the more you want it.

very true vega You could see that little tiny flicker of panic in her eyes when she sees Carmen in the club. I'm wondering though if part of Shane's continued attraction will be from the fact that Carmen walked away after being rebuffed. Unlike Shane's other conquests, she wasn't gonna stand for Shane's love 'em and leave 'em approach nor was she gonna follow her around like a puppy dog.

How much of Shane's interest in Carmen will be because she's genuinly attracted to her and how much (if any) will be the thrill of pursuing her all over again.

i suspect it will always be "the chase" for Shane

I think you're totally right-on about that, Heartache. The visuals were very telling - you see Shane walking along with Carmen down the hallway while Carmen's pushing the tape trolley and Shane is carrying a big stack of tapes under one arm. Shane's basically carrying Carmen's 'books' for her... hee! It hints at this beginning almost kind of innocence between the two of them, this genuine sweetness that I don't think Shane's really had much experience with before...

I think there was an instant change in Shane's behaviour when she was around Carmen. Especially the bit where Carmen asks Shane what she does besides doin hair, Shane's having a hard time having anything really cool or in-control to say....and just her body language in that part of the scene, she acts kinda shy, not knowing why she's acting the way that she does towards Carmen.

Great observation and yeah quite a contrast if you compare it to her demeanor at the club where she was back to being her old self, aloof and cool and confident.

But then she gets that sad kinda unsure look after Carmen walks away. I just love Kate moennig's facial expressions. They say give away so much of what is left unsaid.

Im not sure if Shane is in for the chase... because I really dont see Shane having to do much chasing in her girls. More of a spontaneous thing always.. they totally jump back on her.
