Moving my post here.
Still working on those pics.
Mine are so dark and others had better.
First off....no pics yet
I have a new digital camera and it won't give me my pics
I'm going to try to get a disk tomorrow and just scan them in myself.
Sorry for the delay in that. But it will also give me a chance to lighten/blow up anything that needs it too.
Okay, on to my WONDERFUL adventure meeting Jason
On Monday we arrived in Austin and went directly to find out about the ticket situation. Some of our group made 'connections' and then we headed off to see 6th street and get some lunch. While out we met up with some Behrian's and saw posters/cards of 'Shooting Livien' out on the town. We headed back to the Convention Center which was across the street from the Hilton where we had lunch. We saw Dominic walking into the Center. At the same time some guys walked up to us and asked us to go see an indy flick...'Shooting Livien'

They were handing out buttons, cards, and the blue wrist bands. We told them that was the only movie we had come to see and they took us in to see Producer/PR man, Seth. He was impressed that we had all gathered just for 'Shooting Livien' so he gave us 'Shooting Livien' T-shirts, buttons, posters, wrist bands, and cards. We went to put on the shirts and when we came out Dom was coming down the escalator. We got autographs from him and Rebecca Cook and Rebecca took our pic with Dom. I couldn't one alone because they had to leave

They were impressed and surprised we had come only for their movie too. Also surprised we had the shirts on because only 'crew' had those that day....we were special

So many asked where we got them.
We did lunch and headed back to the center and were first in line for the tickets. We saw all of the movie big wigs and their families/friends and press arrive and just out the door we could see the van Jason and the rest of the cast was in. Well we 'knew' they were in. We couldn't see them.
Seth the Produer/PR man had been calm and cool earlier, but he was freaking out now. He was near us talking on his cell and freaking at how many people turned out. They had expected a small number and a crowd showed up. The area held 600 seats for 'Shooting Livien' and @ 570-80 showed up!!! After we got in (with pretty good seats near the front) they let the cast in.
JASON! Oh be still my

Dom came in first with
Elijah Wood' with him and Jason behind them. [b]Devon Gummersall from 'Roswell' also had a movie the festival and he sat in the back of Jason's movie.
They waved and then the film started.
It was good, yet different.
Every actor in the film was excellent, but Jason was flat out amazing!!!
This film proves what a truely gifted artist he is.....but we have always known that.
After the movie they had a Q&A and we got some pics...dark though, so I'll lighten mine up.
After that was photo op time
I got to Jason and told him that I had been trying to meet him for years and could he please take a picture with me. His eyes widened and he said, "You've really been trying to meet me? Really? Well yeah, sure I'll take a picture with you."

He even signed a picture of himself as 'Livien' too. He was shocked to see that since it wasn't the poster or the cards. Thanks to
Cherie for letting me have it
So I got over there and squatted down a bit since he was on a lower level than we were. He put his arm around me and pressed his cheek against mine, but his hair was between us so he tossed his head a bit and then we were bare cheek to bare cheek

He said, "Is this okay, darlin'?"

The man smelled so heavenly.....his hair smelled so heavenly AND was so shockingly soft and shiny! But his voice....it could melt chocolate
The bad part...the person taking the picture didn't listen to me and pushed the wrong button thereby shutting off my camera instead of getting the picture

Thank goodness for
Michelle from Yonkers!

She got the 'side view' anyway

Thanks sweetie
When I realized what had happened
Groundhog said, "Let's catch him and I'll take your picture!" So we hurried out there and just as I got to him....they dragged him back to the van and wisked him away
THEN on Wednesday we got back to Austin and toured then headed to the theater at 4:00 to stand in line for the 7:00 pm showing. It was a smaller venue (250 seats) and the line started to climb.
Howdy and I were worried we wouldn't get in. And it was so freakin' cold and windy out there. On Monday we were indoors, but not this time.
Anyway we got in
After the movie another Q&A and then pics
They made us go outside.
So in the lobby I got to talk to
Joshua Leonard who plays the drummer in 'Shooting Livien' and get a pic with him too
Then they said to take it outside since they had another movie to show.
Jason came out
I made my way to him and said, "Jason, the other night the person taking our picture accidently turned the camera off instead of taking the picture. Can we try it again?"
He said, "Oh no! Most certainly."
So while he was signing another chick's card I said, "You know, you are the most amazing actor." He just sort of looked at me and said, 'Thanks." And I said, "Really, Jason. Your work is just amazing. You make your audience feel what the character is feeling. You really bring them to life and that is an amazing gift." He looked right in my eyes and 'blushed' and smiled humbly before saying, "Really? That really means so much to me for you to say that. To know that you all came here to support us like this and that my work means that much to you...that's just amazing in itself. Thank you so much for coming." And he grinned really big at me. You could tell he was pleased

Then he put his arm around me and we took the picture and he said he hoped it turned out this time and moved on to someone else.
The last I saw of him was when he and Josh were running up the street in what I guess they thought was 'secret'

A few minutes earlier they had been escorted off into a side building. But they were off to party.
After they left people gathered for the next movie kept asking,"Who are they? Who is that guy with the hat (stocking hat)?" So we told them. Some knew 'Roswel' and some knew 'The Grudge' and were like, "Ohhhhhh!"
Howdy and I told Seth that he looked much more relaxed on Wednesday. He had brought some more shirts and things to give out to those that didn't get any on Monday. He said he was more relaxed and so glad Monday was over as it was so nerve wracking.
So that is my story
I'm on 'Cloud 9' with no intentions of ever coming down
Oh, I forgot both times until after Jason was gone to ask our two questions....sorry all
Please don't
