Anne series book #3... I have so many books on my list to read and never enough time to read them. I've been trying to read books I enjoyed as a kid more & more lately.

Must Love Dogs - Gosh I don't have the book beside now to tell you the author though. I have had it awhile, but hadn't gotten around to reading for pleasure. I saw a movie preview for "Must Love Dogs" coming out soon. So I thought now would be a good time to see it before the movie arrives. So far, it is really cute! An easy & fun read. smile.gif

I haven't posted in a while, so here's what I've been reading lately:
Yours Until Dawn by Teresa Medeiros- sweet, funny romance
Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister by Gregory Maguire- I had to give up on this one for now because I couldn't get involved with the characters and I didn't like the author's style much
It's in His Kiss by Julia Quinn- not my favorite of her Bridgerton series, but I liked it
Fullmetal Alchemist Vol. 1 by Hiromu Arakawa- let the manga addiction begin glow.gif
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J. K. Rowling- all I can say is hurry up book 7!

And now I'm reading The Misted Cliffs by Catherine Asaro. I prefer her science fiction to her fantasy books for Harlequin's Luna imprint, but I'm enjoying this one more than I did her first Luna.

I read all of them up to Goblet of Fire in a day. Order of the Phoenix took me two days. This one took me almost a week. I just don't have that much uninterrupted time. I have to squeeze in the reading between taking care of my kid, taking care of my husband, cleaning the house, etc. I envy those who have the time to just sit and read.

I just finished a book called The Fabulist by Stephen Glass. I had watched the movie Shattered Glass and learned that the person in which the movie was inspired by had wrote a book so I bought and read it in 3 days! It was really good!

I was wondering about that Lisa! I knew you had just posted about reading Prince Caspian the other day.

I finished reading P.S. I Love You the other night and I haven't started a new book yet. All of my free time lately seems to be sucked up with this househunting business....

Just finished Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and want the next book NOW!

Now reading The Da Vinci Code. I never read it before because I reckoned it would be rubbish, but a friend told me I should read it so I decided to give it a go - it's brilliant! I still don't believe it's true or anything, but it's a great story.

When I can't be bothered to carry a book on the train, I've started using a mobile phone service called Gobstopped. You can read short stories and cartoon strips on your phone. You get it by sending a text with the word 'gob' to 83238. I think it's quite a new thing, and they didn't have all that much at first, but they seem to be getting more stuff all the time now. Quite a lot of it is free. They've also got a website at www.gobstopped.com.

I've been reading the same book, very slowly, for the past 5 months now -- "Dream Brother," a biography of Jeff Buckley.

I really want to move on, but everytime I think I have time to read, I end up having to do something else. sad.gif
