My dog's middle name is Anand, which means "happiness" in Sanskrit. I named him that because of two reasons: one, "Happy" is Hershey's slogan, and his tail reminds me of a Hershey's chocolate bar; two, Odie makes me happy. So, my dog's full name is Odhiambo Anand.

My husband and I gave our first Peke the middle name of Denise, so we can call her tater D. Bugg. Our second Peke, is a little mischevious imp, and since he is from Puerto Rico, I felt it an honor to call her Chupacabra, which translates to the "Goat Sucker of P.R." His mother was horrified that such a cute little dog would have such a name, but the name fits. We just call her Chupa for short, which everyone thinks we're saying, Chew-pa because we are also Star Wars fanatics. Go figure. Our Beta is also called Barney Slayer.....any questions....lol?
