Y'know, I'd love to find out, after Brendan's eps start airing, if the ratings for CSI Miami go up even more--it seems from this thread a lot of people are going to start watching for the first time. I picture the network PTB standing around and scratching their heads, "Well, look, the ratings spike on this ep, this ep, but not this one. What's in those eps that's not in this one? The guy playing Dan Cooper? Then, for crying out loud, write him in more often!"

First we had Adam. Now Brendan. In this rate, we'll find the entire Roswell cast in there...

I thought the same thing. Do they have any idea what Fehrians do? We'll have to let them know we're happy after he starts. Emails and what not This is so great! Much as I loved Roswell this is much more exposure with it seems less the downside of series TV.

Oh God...their rating's are definitely going to spike But I would doubt Brendan would take another full-time TV show...I mean he said he liked it because it's an "open contract" leaving room for his movie career

From what I understand... Brendan isn't hoping to become a full-time cast member (remember he's been there, done that) and would really like to explore other roles. This part time gig gives him a chance to do both (have a regular paycheck... and the freedom to explore other roles)

Thanks, Lisa, but I figured from what he's said before (and in this latest post) Brendan wouldn't want to be a fulltime regular, I just thought if his eps were even more popular, a little more screen time or maybe we'd get to see him out of the lab, skateboarding or at the beach working on his (possibly all over ) tan.

I totally agree with you & yeah it would be nice to see brendan in a tan eh!

Although he might not want a more full time roll, it still wouldn't hurt to let the PTB know how much he is loved. This might help him out with other roll she might want (not saying that his talent doesn't speak for it's self) but it will be great to let everyone else know how fantastic he is!

ITA, I just hope PTB take note of what a good thing they're banking on by casting Brendan and also I hope they take note of the (soon to be obvious) increase in viewer ratings when Season 4 starts comparing it to Season 3. If they don't take advantage of it, I'd be really surprised.

I'm not saying I want Brendan to be part of a full time cast again, no way and no how but I'm just saying that I hope that TPTB know what a good thing they've done by casting Brendan and take it and run with it.

Well, last night while watching TV, they announced a show that explains how 'The Long Weekend' was made!!! so I'll be able to see interviews of Brendan and scenes of the movie!!! I can't wait, cause here in Spain Brendan isn't famous at all, so this is a good chance!

Yeah, can't hurt for them to realize he's got fans. I mean, doesn't Bruckheimer make a lot of movies? Isn't he producer on the CSI? also, doesn't Brendan usually play hockey on his team for these charities? Seems a great connection

As far as I know that was for the celeb all star game only Vin, but good call nonetheless, maybe on that note they might reconsider and make Dan Cooper a hockey player instead of a 'skateboard hottie' since Bruckheimer's seen him play, but that's wishful thinking on my end (I'm a sucker for Hockey and Brendan) I think he might be a producer but I'm not sure *runs off to IMDB*

I think those are Bruckeimer also? I wouldn't mind Brendan in a movie with Depp as a pirate Yes, I know it's hopelessly commercial but it was fun.

Wasn't Brendan a skateboard character in another movie? That weird AD movie? Maybe we'remissing something? Maybe he's this hugely talented skateboarder?

Yeah, he was a skateboarder in Nemesis Game -- although as far as I can remember, we never saw him do anything other than carry a skateboard. (And skateboarding is not one of the zillion sports he has listed under "Special Skills" on his resume. )

They're already making both the 2nd and 3rd Pirates of the Caribbean movies, so he may have missed the boat on that one...

Complete brilliance 3 Pirates of the Carribean Movies and I would love if Brendan got a co-starring next to Johnny Depp sigh commercial is better than nothing.

Congrats Brendan! As an avid CSI, CSI: Miami watcher (I can't stand CSI: NY so thank GOD you got Miami!) I'll be watching even more. I offer my services of technical pronnounciation as I am a CSI in training, my services are for free. You can borrow my Forensic's books if ya like! (I have tons of them).

To answer a few questions...

CSI: Miami airs Monday nights at 10 eastern, 9 central on CBS (check your local listings for channel). The season premire is Monday September 19th, 2005.

CSI: Miami may take place in Miami, but actually isn't filmed in Miami. They do go a few times in the year for location shots, but sometimes the beach scenes are actually not Miami, but rather Huntington Beach, California. The only one that is filmed in the actually city it takes place in is CSI: NY.

Bruckheimer produces all the CSIs, I think, so maybe Cooper will get to go on a field trip to NY or Vegas for his special A/V skills They could easily change the sport from skateboarding to some water sport for Florida (Does Brendan waterski? Surf?) though I would love it if Brendan had to play a *Florida* hockey fan (it's just weird to have hockey in such a hot area!). I suppose he could be a transplanted Floridian, lots of those, including Canadians and been a hockey fan where he used to live. It'd give Dan something to whinge about.

Bruckheimer produces Without a Trace, also, and lots of actiony blockbusters, maybe he'll think of Brendan for one of them.

Raleigh has a hockey team and beleive me we're frelling hot at the moment! I think they even did well once upon a time color me surprised when I found out we had a team here.

Absolutely... producers like to hire actors with strong fan bases that will increase their show's audience. So be sure to get the word out, and if you like Brendan in the role, write to the show's producers and let them know... It may lead to other roles.

I'm as excited as everyone else over this latest news. It will be good to see Brendan back in a semi regular role on TV.

I'm sure it will also be a welcome change for Brendan to be on a show that isn't always struggling to find it's audience. You can be the best actor in the world.. but it's still frustrating if nobody sees your work.

Something to confess, I actually hid alot when my father finally watched it and plus he always asks questions during the middle of anything so it doesn't count I think.. My Mum could handle it, now CSI is something for both of them to sit and not have me hiding and turning red over Especially with Dad.

Vin- i just tossed out the t.v. guide that showed alll the shows Brunihiemer(sp?) did, & it was about a "V.S." thing with "Arron Speeling", so i can't list all the shows & movies he's done but yeah he's done alll the CSI's & Missing without a trace( which i already watched those shows), Medium( another one I watch), I think, now agian not to sure, he did"las Vegas", you know with James Cann in it??

It is going to be wierd seeing him on a tv series again. Isn't CSI Miami on on Mondays though ? I might have to tape it because I watch alot of other tv shows on that night. I have never really watched the show but alot of my friends like it. I guess I will have to check out a few episodes. We will see ! If Brendan is going to be on it that is enough for me I can not believe I am still on this site lol. My sister can't believe it either. It is just that Brendan is to cute for his own good !
