From one Canadian to another...how much of Canada have you actually been to? I live in small town NS and I was just wondering. I have not been further west than Ontario. I am originally from Newfoundland. I know your former cast mate Jason Behr was in NL for The Shipping News and I was wondering if you were ever curious to see more of the country? I personally think NL is God's country (a little prejudiced...lol) but NS is a close second too. I do however hear that BC is a really nice place too. Maybe I will get out that way one day. Firstly I just want to say that I don't have any questions. I was just listening to an interview you did about Sugar and you said that you had to re-shoot the whole rape scene because it was 'lame' and you wanted it to be a certain way "gruesome but sad" and I just wanted to tell you that you pulled it off really good. Both of you made it just that so... well done on that.
Secondly you would have had an extra person to mob you down in London but I had to look after my sick nan. But the next time you're in the UK I'll definitely be there to support whatever you're doing. I think you're a really cool actor, not just because you act but because you have views on things. It's really refreshing.

i think i can answer this since i saw his answer on a star tv (canadian infotainment show) episode the other day.

he said it's much much easier to play a person doing a line of coke (cocaine) than kissing a boy or holding a boys hand. he also said he needs to do a movie in which his mom can watch.

I just want to thank you for the answer to "Fallenskyy" (forum august 17)about your character in "SUGAR". I think you get the right way to consider God allowed you to get in that situation (the film and the
meeting with those guy lives, I mean). Maybe to get grew your humanity, and maybe to shead a light beam over all our lives, espacially our "perfect" lives. "Who has no sins...." As christians we believe that Divine Providence lead all over towards the Good.

I considered removing the uhs and ums, but decided to leave them in to capture the flavor of his speech better. (And if you really listen to yourself and your friends, that's how we all talk!)

The only problem with including them is that they may have given a false impression that he was stammering or unusually inarticulate. Not so at all -- he was speaking quite quickly and easily. I think we all have a tendency to fill in our conversation that way when we're pausing to choose just the right next word.

*I was wondering if you had ever heard about "Beatallica" which is a mixt of Metallica and The beatles 's songs. I discovered it a few weeks ago and wanted to know what you you think of it if you know.

I have two Ph.D.'s but I am completely mathematically challenged! Yes, when God was handing out math skills I was in line for creative abilities or free CD's or something.

I'm a shrink and have to renew my license. I need to complete 500 hours or work related to a certain area of concentration by the end of May. So how many hours a week do I need to work in order to finish by that time if I start by Dec. 1st?
