Just read the following comment on imdb:
QUOTE
he [Ian] will be filming a new movie... called \"sensation of sight\" in a small town in Nh where i live close to... i cannot wait... im gonna try to see if i can get his autograph!!!!
Is that true? Do we have confirmation? *eyes Debi*

Soon as I can talk to him I will find out. I REALLY, REALLY hope this one is true because NH is SO close to me!!!

I'm not saying anything though because IMDB is notorious for bad information.

Thank you. I consider myself very lucky, but I don't get to see Ian very often. We live on opposite ends of the country.
Selkie, care to add anything else?

Debi's lucky indeed

But Baby J is even luckier, she had the chance to cuddle on Ian's lap, didn't she?
What might Selkie add there?

He is doing the movie! I only had him for a minute, so not many details yet, but at least we know he has another project lined up.

This is so cool. It's the closest he's ever worked to where I live - only one state away.

Closest he's ever worked (acting) to where I live... mhmm... guess that was Romania and

I don't know what it is, but I know Sam Maccarone and Dian Bachar are the guys from Roommates. They are also friends of Ian's so that is probably how he ended up in the movie. Judging by the description of the movie, I'd guess and say it isn't going to be a huge role?

Yeah probably small but thats cool!
I just gotta say.... Ian's here for a reason and it's much much bigger than T.V. Or Movies.........

I've lost track of how many places I've said this, but I
posted a few generic things about the movie (and changed the topic of this thread).
Is anyone besides me having Young Americans flashbacks?

I don't think i ever saw YOUNG AMERICANS either.
My obsession with Ian Somerhalder started when I saw the trailer of THE RULES OF ATTRACTION and then I saw him in LIFE AS A HOUSE and then I finally saw "The Rules..." movie and Im in love until now.

Since I was recently asked for more information on the movie and Ian's role there (*eyes Cecily*

), I thought I *bump* this thread and pass the question on to... anyone who can answer it.

The caption under this pic reads:

Aaron and Christophe angle for a perfect shot of Ian Somerhalder
Is there anything
other than a perfect shot of Ian?
Is that the same jacket and pants again? I've seen so many pics of those two pieces of clothing I'm starting to believe that they're actually mine and I could open my closet and find them hanging there.

the boy had a nice chat with George Clooney and David Strathairn(GOODNIGHT AND GOOD-LUCK) remember this movie was up for an Oscar---he and Strathairn talked at some length about SENSATION OF SIGHT--I think one of Strathairn's(boy, for a lazy typist this name is tuff!) agents, manager (someone like that) was there also---they said that they liked what they saw of the finished product.(this was at one of the Oscar parties)-- seems to me this movie would be for the more "mature" fangirls---could possibly be well done..when is that tenative release date--Oct-10th?---we know about release dates!--really not much info on this one
talliann
Jun 23 2006, 06:27 PM
Yeah, we have another release date for another Ian movie!

. Just one month after "Pulse"

. Lucky ameican fans

So this movie would be for "mature fangirls", I think I could fit into that group

Mature fangirl? Mhmm... my age would probably qualify me as mature but my mind...? Mhmm...
I guess it's one of those films I probably wouldn't watch unless I had a really good reason (Ian) but I end up liking very much. I'm usually more the fun movie girl, popcorn cinema as we call it, but I don't mind more meaningful movies (wow alliteration!) from time to time.
And yes, literature is my major...

Oh I like both, just fun and silly movies and deep and thoughtful. I guess it depends of the moment. But this one has pretty good actors in it and the plot looks cool. I'm looking forward to watching it!
