I searched by your email address and you are listed in the database with the login name Anne Hedley. Were you using that nam to try to log in or the Midnight Angel name?

Try logging in with the Anne Hedley name. If that doesn't work, try requesting a password reset. It will be sent to the email address you listed here. If you still have problems let me know

Hi Claudia. Your bluecloud profile doesn't seem to have any problems so it could be that the password isn't as you remember. The email address is still the one you listed above so the best option would be to request an automatic password reset (there's a link via the log in page). If that still doesn't work, we can manually reset your password for you. Let us know if the problem persists.

Hi, was having problems with old username scotslass, so used new username - scotslassie as thought maybe something to do with re-vamp of forum, e-mail: yvonnegrenfell@blueyonder.co.uk.

Both user names show up in the database. The first username is Scotslass with a captial S and the email eg009y3501@blueyonder.co.uk Usernames are casesensitive so either you typed the name wrong or you have the password wrong. If you still have problems request a password reset on the login screen.

Let me know if you manage to login & I will delete the account that you won't be using. If you continue to have problems post here to let me know.

Your username is in the database under kneepat. The user name is case sensitive so try it all in lowercase. If that doesn't work request a password reset on the login page. The new password will be mailed to the email address we have on record which is jdunbar@optonline.net.

We have a greeneyesdahlee registered with an email address that has Samshobbits as part of the email. Is this you? If so, you might try recovering this password to your email account.

I'm sorry you've been having so much trouble. I know this will seem like a pain in the butt but can you walk me through what you did step by step so I can get a better idea where the problem occured?

For example did you receive the password reset email?
How many times did you try to log in?

I had recently changed email address before the change over but got the reset email to an old email account and tried resetting the password twice but with no success. I've tried logging in with my old password and new various times after changing it but nothing. I've tried contacting my comod at the Pirates board but haven't heard back from him either.

Hi Lady_Lee. The email change before the software change hadn't gone through properly, so your account was listed as having two different email addresses and was getting itself confused. I've updated your email address to the gmail one (let me know if it should have been the hotmail one) and issued a final password reset to be sent to you via email which should now go through properly when you click the link. Post back here if it still causes troubles.

I tried it again this morning but still am having no success logging in. It keeps giving me a board error message.

Although I'm a mod on this forum I don't know the answer to this query so I'm hoping one of the more senior staff (in rank not age..!) can help:

One of the regulars on the Hugh Jackman board just emailed me because she can't log in. She has been logged in within the past few days and posted successfully but suddenly it's all gone weird. Her username is "njr" and this is the error message. Help

I had the same problem today.
Have done a screenshot of it. It is one of my many problems since a few weeks here, in this special version probably the 2nd or 3rd time.

Uuups fogot to add: also got sometimes an error message something with 'sockets'? But always only in connection with MB, all 'my' other usual sites do work.
And as usual now for me: problems to change within the site the sides and to do posts. Then I go 1 or 2 steps back and start again to do it = then it works ???
I had problems with a now deleted software and the update from my firewall, but then with all the other sites too. Extant is only MB.

The data base (Problem 127) errors were caused by my trying to fix another glitch. I accidentally messed up one of the database tables, then had to run a repair script on it (after figuring out what was causing the error). Sorry for the down time! I understand what went wrong, so hopefully it won't happen again.

Terrestrial, I'm not sure what would cause the socket error that you mentioned. Can you tell me exactly what the error is next time it happens? (PM it maybe in case I miss it here).

I NEED HELP!!!!!!!
I get the same e-mail about a pm I received yesterday. I got it 7 times!!! My computer is trying to receive 2 new messages all the time, it gives up, and i get a new e-mail about that pm! Ok, now it´s 8. What do i do???

It sounds like your computer was trying to download a different email and kept timing out before it had told your ISP that it had received the Media Blvd PM one...so each time it tried to re-download the other email, the MB one came too.

I am experiencing difficulty logging in while using the MSN browser (I had to use a different browser in order to post this message as the board would not allow me to post in the forum using the MSN browser).

A lot of posters have been experiencing problems while using the MSN browser. We're working on figuring out why.

I'm still having trouble too, hopefully things will get straightened out soon!

Unfortunately we don't know how quickly it will be straightened out. We have't changed anything so at this point, we believe the problem is on MSN's end. I would suggest that people download a different browser and use that until we can get this straightened out since it is unknown at this point how long that will take.

I am having problems with my email address/login.. the first time I registered, I used this username and my original email address of "bonkers29@gmail.com" but when I went to sign in, it said that this name was not registered.. so I registered again but it said that my email address was already in the system? so I temporarily used another email which I dont check and now I still cant switch it back to my original email address since it still says that email is already in the system?! The username associated with the "bonkers29@gmail.com" is Bonkers. You were using an incorrect username which is why you could not log in. I changed the user name on the "bonkers29@gmail.com account to the username allyoursbabie but that also meant I had to change the user name you had associated with the temporary email account to allyoursbabie1. Let me know if you still have problems.

I'm writing for a friend (foxie) who is having trouble logging in. Apparently she uses MSN Explorer and that is what's causing the problem. She told me she has a Dell computer, but not sure which Windows she's using. Can you give us any help? Is there an address she could email to get direct assistance? Thanks.

Unfortunately we are still working on the problem regarding MSN Explorer and are unsure of when this issue will be resolved. We believe at this point the problem lies with MSN since we have not changed anything. If this is the case we may not be able to resolve the situation. The only thing we can suggest at this point is that she download and install another browser since MSN is the only browser experiencing problems.

Google is offering a free download of Firefox which is a very good browser.

I have been having trouble logging lately too.. Sometimes I can do it if I go straight to the site and log in rather than using a favorite tab, but not al the time.. I use Avant Browser 10, Windows Xp Home Service Pack 2. They said the problem is only with MSN Browser or whatever, but I have problems as well.. Hope they get all the kinks worked out..

As you can see the pics in your sig are fixed. It was an old problem from back when the conversion was done where you just had to go in as if you were editing your sig & and resubmit it without making changes. It was a widespread problem after the conversion but some people missed the post on how to fix it.

With regard to the browser problem. We were only aware of people with the MSN browser having a problem, you are the first to report a problem with another browser. Have you been having these problems since the conversion or have they only started recently?

Frankly, we are not sure there is anything we can do to fix the problem because there have been no changes made recently that could have caused these problems to suddenly crop up. Since we have made no changes, then it follows logically that the problem lies in the browsers. We are still trying to troubleshoot the issue but in the meantime the only solution is to use another browser. I provided a link to the download for the Firefox browser in a previous post. That browser is one of the best available.




When you say explorer 6.0 are you refering to IE 6.0?

yes i was. but just now (sun. jan 29 4:50pm) i slid right in on IE6.

Ok good If you have problems with IE 6.0 in the future its usually due either to the security settings you have set up under internet options or its a simple matter of clearing your cookies.
