Rogue
I tend to be in the history section but occasionally you can find me in the romance or the real crime.
cmupjer
I am always in the fiction section, usually bestsellers or new fiction because I am always wanting the new stuff that is out. Or I like to try the book club picks or picks by the bookstore employees.

Look first in Fiction/Literature. If I'm not there, I'll be in either TV/Film or Magazines.
narcolepsy_slides
I start at the new release section, then go to fiction/literature, sci-fi, thriller, and occasionally the non-fiction section.
yeah, I spend a lot of time in book stores.

You wouldn't find me in a bookstore, unless it was a really cool bookstore like City Lights in San Fran. Otherwise, I'll be on Amazon.com You can buy books used there, which is great. There used to be a used bookstore near where I live, but then Barnes and Noble came along and Borders came along and it died.
EllaBella
I would be found in the Romance section. LOL I love Paranormal Romance.
Sublime Muffin
Art/Architecture, science fiction and politics.

EllaBella- I have also recently discovered the "Paranormal Romance" genre, and I love it. It remends me of my old "Roswell" fanfiction days and makes me want to write again. I especially like Jayne Castle; Not as sexy as Christine Feehan but I dig the original storytelling and the mystery.
dazed'n'forgetful
The old writers section... their style is so utterly involving and intricate that you read two sentences and are lost in another world in another time.
lilycody
you would find me in fiction/science fiction
bucket_queen
I'd be in the media section... or the indie graphic novel section (don't like superheroes).
Failing that, I'd be in the Fiction section.

But seeing as i work in a bookstore, i can generally be found everywhere!

Lately I have gravitated from the chick-lit section to the young adult fiction section. I blame it on my ten year high school reunion coming up and me wanting to relive my teenage years wink.gif
