Anyone catch this episode tonight? The theme was organ donation/black market transplants... I was wondering if any of the writers were involved with this charity. The message at the end of the show was a good one. I wonder if we can use this as a spring board for getting the message out on our forums.

Are any other shows planning on doing shows with similar themes?

One of my favorites was a recent (May 2005) Law & Order: SVU episode with Marlee Matlin, called "Parts." It dealt with the issue of black market donations but also specifically about waiting on the national recipient database and how people need to be educated about donation, etc.

You know Lisa, I thought the same thing when I saw the episode.

This week on Grey's Anatomy, they're featuring another organ donation/transplant story with a special twist. Be sure and check it out.

Saw an add for a new show starting this summer about Heart Transplants....

the tag line was:
'Someone must die so that others may live" or something like that....

I'll try and remember to look it up...
