Hello all
Well if you are reading this you are the one of many people having issues logging in while using MSN Explorer as your web browser.

I have installed, tweaked, beaten, mauled, stabbed, shot and kicked this browser to see if I could find the problem and I am sad to report that I have found no reason, nor resolution to this issue that our members are having.

I have attempted to contact Microsoft about this issue and we shall see if I even get a response.

At this time the only recommendation I can make to you folks is to install a different browser.

If you are using MSN as your ISP then I would suggest using straight Internet Explorer 6.XXX instead of the MSN browser.

If you have other options then I would highly suggest that you use one of the other free browsers out there like Firefox. The reason I would suggest firefox above all is because of the lack of holes in their security that allows broser hijacking and the likes. For security reasons alone that would be your best bet.

I also have a request.
If you are experiencing issues with MB Please, when you reply to a thread or start a new one in the support area it would be a BIG help if you supplied as much information about your setup as possible.

For example. Pertaining to this MSN browser issue we NEED the following information.

Are you running a Mac, Windows, or Linux machine?
What Operating system are you running? (Win98, Win M.E., Win 2000, Win XP, OSX, etc)
What service packs? (on Windows systems Right click on My Computer, Click Properties and you will see the operating system and Service pack)
What Browser and which version are you running? (Click on Help, About in your browser to see this info)
Are you on Dialup, DSL, LAN, Cable, T1, T3?

Any additional info beyond this is VERY helpful as well. IE Have you gotten error messages?

Thanks folks. We are still looking into how to resolve this issue and we thank you for your patience.

Response From Microsoft Support

QUOTE
Hello,

Thank you for writing back to the MSN Internet Access Technical Support Team.

I understand that the subscribers on your site that uses an MSN software cannot sign in to their accounts on 'Mediablvd.com'. I realize the importance of your concern. I will be more than happy to help you.

I have simulated the issue and you are correct about the issue, I signed up and I was not able to sign in. But I was able to find a work around to this dilemma, instead of using the MSN Explorer, it would be best to use Internet Explorer by your customers, I am sure that they will be able to sign. It seems that the site is not compatible with the MSN browser.

If you have other concerns, please contact us again and we will be happy to assist you.

Sincerely,

MSN Internet Access Technical Support

We will be pursuing the matter with Microsoft further. We intend on trying to get them to fix the problem with the browser rather than just having us tell people to change browsers.
