hmm i think he'd be great in a romantic comedy, or even just a mushy romantic one or a great action flick (with horror)

So, JJ Abrams will produce and co-write the new 'Star Trek' movie, and I couldn't help but think 'Jensen!'. What do you think? Jensen on 'Star Trek'? Can you see it?

you know... I could see him on Enterprise, so if they did a movie on the early years like JJ Abrams is going to do then yeah put Jensen in it!

at first I was like you but then I thought about it, he'd look great in that uniform from Enterprise ... well Jensen's great in almost anything!

I could actully picture him in the Enterprise's uniform, ON the Enterprise (which I think is part of why I posted the question ). Think of him as young Kirk... In some sense, it will be like having Alec and Dean in the same role!

i cant wait to see him as a cop in Resident Evil..if he does it

you know what gets me is if he does 'RE' my only dilemma is whether to see it (despite the gore, blood & zombies!) ... so seeing Jensen on 'Enterprise' poses no problem!

It's funny how each of us had a different pic in mind. When I was thinking of the Enterprise, I saw him is the black, tight, uniform, with the red color around the shoulders... He can be Riker

honestly I got no idea about Trek stuff so googled Riker and that's Mr Frakes himself! - now I see what you mean about the black uniform ...

about 'Notebook' I love Marsden in that movie coz he looks so fine & dapper!

I saw some pics from The CW 2006 Upfront - After Party on WireImage and there are some with both Jensen and Jared with Joel Silver (which I guess was there for 'Veronica Mars'). Now, Joel Silver has quite a resume (check his imdb.com page). How cool it will be if he'll take Jensen to one of his movies?

definately! I wasn't aware Silver was producing "Logan's Run" (maybe he'll take up my suggestion and cast Jensen, that would be fantastic) it's a great movie and I'd love to see this remake with Jensen in the leading role, he'd be perfect for it.

I've never heard of 'Logan's Run' until I read your post That I can remember, anyway. So, no one is allowed to live past the age of 30? Interesting. Yeah, cast Jensen!

it's pure sci-fi but I really like the original, the concept, the setting ... the lead character Logan 5 is not anything like Jensen's other roles, he's much more reserved, pensive, desperate ... wait that sounds a bit like Ben doesn't it? or maybe it was due to the way the original actor played it

i'd like it if he played a Pilot.. for movies like Top Gun or Broken Arrow, but sadly for me he seems to be more inclined to horror genre at the moment

sort of... it came up on the 'This or That' thread where we thought he could be a Jedi. Jensen as Luke is a brilliant idea but the more I thought about it, the more I reckon he'd make a great Han Solo too...

Looking for something completely different (yes, this post comes with a story. Bear with me. Actually Behr does have something to do with it...) I came across 'The Flash' info. Looks like David Goyer just turned in his script to Warner.

Now, at the moment it doesn't look like they casted anyone, so what do you think?

He's not. Well, as far as I know he's not. I looked for info about him (under the Roswell's mod hat) and came across 'The Flash' news (it's on the same web page). And since I remembered the rumors...

the thing about these rumors is that someone out there considers him playing a comic super-hero...makes me wonder if he's really auditioned for some roles/characters we're not even aware of. You know, like Behr being tested for Superman before Brandon got the role...

But we know that Jason, and Jared, were considered for the role. Jensen... I don't know. Worth looking around though

Actually he could do everything very well... But I'd like to see him in a romantic movie. He would be so cute, I'm sure!

Any movie where he takes his clothes off is fine by me! Seriously though - I really do think he would suit any acting style.
