ya no comments!!! I did like the book overall.....not one of my fav's though, but i'm not done reading them all yet! I liked the beginning but i felt things just die off at the end.....like so what Hanson just gives up all of a sudden to find out what happend?!?

Maybe... perhaps someone mysteriously erased all his thoughts of chasing the Pod Squad and friends?

Yay! I got my copies of The Dark One and The Seeker in the post today. Now I need The Vanished, The Rebel and The Salvation to complete that set =D

*shiri&jensen4ever* - I'll try and add them in. It's sorta hard to work out how many minor characters I should add. I had a few more on the list, but chopped it down. I initially didn't have Jesse, but he is sort of a major character in season 3, so I put him on the list.

That's exactly why I had it in mind. I thought of the idea and had a look around and couldn't find anything else like it, so I decided I would start it.
Unfortunately, a lot of Roswell sites are now gone/no longer updated. I was looking on Crashdown.com for some information and browsed their links page... looks like about 80% of the links are no longer working

Yes that is Isabel in the center and up next to the logo and Nikolas on the right and Nikolas's eyes up the top left. I believe the shadowed face at the back is Alex... or Isabel.. =S It's hard to work out.

I have a question, about Ray, in the books : why didn't he raise Michael ? Ray had a job, a place to live, he was an alien so he could have adopted Michael.

Hello! Newbie here... to the site and the Roswell phenom. I am absolutely addicted to the series and dream of Michael Guerin daily. I am trying to complete my book collection now. Does anyone know where you can find copies of the OOP rare books, like Turnabout without selling your liver? I have tried the online search engines, local libraries, flea markets, book exchanges and Goodwill. Am I out of options?

First, welcome to the boards
We keep hoping the printer will print more copies, but so far nothing.
I'm lucky enough to have all the books, but I know somewhere there has to be more that don't cost a kidney or your first born.

Hi and welcome! I tried for months to get the last 11 books without much success except for Little Green Men, No Good Deed, Pursuit and Nightscape which are all available online from Amazon or Barnes and Noble. I finally ended up purchasing the remaining books through Ebay/Half.com, to complete a set for my daughter. I had to pay quite a bit for clean unread 1st edition collectable copies of some of the books, although if you are patient and keep checking on ebay every day, you can find some good deals. I managed to find a copy of Dreamwalk 1st edition in near mint condition for $1.50, Loose Ends new 1st edition for $1.75, Shades new 1st edition for $7.39 and Skeletons in the Closet new 1st edition for $7.39. I found these by looking each day over a 2 month period. The other 3 books have all been fairly expensive no matter where I have tried to get them.

WOW!!! I love "My Assistant" Cool program... Anyway, I have all those titles, but I have The following that I can give you if you are missing them. Or if anyone else needs them... Like I said they aren't worth the effort to sell. I would rather spend $1 and give them to a fellow Roswellian.

Pop Quiz is just a book that tests you on your Roswell knowledge. It is kinda hard..., but fun. I will gladly put these titles in the mail to you if you want to send me your address. I will wait for my dupe copy of Intruder to come in.

So these are the books that i have recently read...i told you all that i would tell you what i thought of the books when i was done..so here i go
I decided that i didn't want to read shades....i'm sure it's probably good..but i'm just not in to ghost stories, maybe in the future i will..but for now i decided no *scaredy cat*

WARNING!!!!!!(do not read these if you don't want to be spoiled for the books)

Loose Ends- i liked this book, it was nice to see them pick up this story line. It 'was' what started it all, Liz getting shot and all, and it kind of bothered me that they never found the guy that shot her..i always wondered what happened to them....not much else to say about it besides that i enjoyed it.

No Good Deed-I really loved this book!! mainly because of the fact of Michael in it! It was nice to see him want to do something for someone else, we rarly got to see that side of Michael on the show, only really a few times, with Laurie, and helping that father and daughter in 'crash'.
Not only did you get to see him do this, but you got a look into his mind while he was doing it..and i really liked that.

Little Green Men-This was a good one, i mainly liked it..because of the humor in the book...Kyle and Maria were great. Besides that i really don't have anything else to say, except that i liked it

Skeleton's in the Closet-I have mixed feelings about this book i will have to come back to telling you what i think later

Dreamwalk-Another one that i liked....I really liked seeing more of the relationship between Isabel and Kyle, and getting a little more history about Kyle....Sometimes on the show, they tend not to tell you too much about secondary caracters, even when they become more involved, they just don't go back to elaboarte, because of time or the writters..so it was nice to see into his mind...

A New Beginning-Good book, i liked it, but the whole 'alien abduction' thing was just too weird
I don't even want to get started about this!!!!!! First of all who were they? why were they taking them? and where was the special unit? don't you think that they would be around there if this was going on? i mean come on...........
but besides that, i liked the rest yay i know that was a big part of it....but really the rest of it i liked.....

Nightscape-okay i just read this one last night! I know i said i didn't like ghost stories, and when i realized where it was going i almost put it down...but for some reason i kept reading, and well i really liked it! My only thoughts really are what happened to Nickolas? I like to think that what Max did was only a temporary thing and that he would start to decay :lamo: i hate that little *bleep* But i really liked this book....and the Candy moments it it were really good, a lot of angst, which i love!

So i am off to read Pursuit and Turnabout!
and then i just have Quarantine to read and that's all of them, well expect for Shades....but we all knwo how i feel about that by now

Lilycody, Shades is truly not scary in the least. I think if you did well with Nightscape, that you would do perfectly fine with Shades.

Quarantine is good, that one I got at a used book store for $3.00. I think now the only one I haven't read is Dreamwalk. Our library didn't carry it and it's too expensive whenever I've seen it on ebay.

thanks RhondaAnn, maybe i will give it a go again I havn't started those others, so maybe i can read it tonight....like i said i already started it so i'm about 1/3 of the way through

rhondaann, i read dreamwalk .it a good book.the author really did a great job.
i got to see isabel and kyle friendship. kyle felt so guilty about alex (it not even his fault!)and isabel try to help him .you also see maria/micheal and max/liz .plus there is a whole background story about kyle's mom.

i hope you get to read it

Maybe someday if I can ever find a copy of it that won't break my bank!

so i am almost done reading Turnabout then the only ones that i have to go back and read are 'shades' and 'quarantine'
I am really liking Turnabout a lot so far i will let you guys know what i think when i'm done, i only have less then half way to go!

Does anyone know the order the books were written in post "A New Beginning"? I am going to start reading them, but want to read in order. I read ANB in one night... It started out as a bedtime read and before I knew it the book was finished and it was 4:30! I really shouldn't do that when I have to get up early the next day, huh.

To answer your question about order, look at the first post of this thread.

They are in fine shape. LGM looks almost new except it has library stickers on it. NGD looks almost new but the cover has a few creases. Pursuit is in the worst shape, but not too bad really. Edges are worn and a little curled, cover is creased a good bit and the spine shows bending. They aren't in collectible condition, but perfect for anyone who wants to read them. They aren't worth more than a couple of bucks each on eBay.
