wave.gif Hi there

OK, here's my latest question.

My PM folders are about 96% full so I've moved a whole stack of PM's to the "For archiving" folder and requested that they be archived and mailed to me in HTML format 3 or 4 times over the last few days but nothing at all has come through.

My email address is correct 'cause I sent myself a test email from the Control Panel and that came through instantaneously.

Luckily I didn't choose the option to delete the PM's after archiving so I still have them but can someone look into it for me?

Thanks very much in advance.

I tested the archiving feature & it worked fine for me so here are a few reasons it may not be working for you.

Did you double check your spam folder? Some spam blockers will block emails from webmaster@mediablvd.com so be sure to add that address to your approved list.

Also, be sure you have selected that the forum admins can email you in your profile options.

The only other reason you may not be receiving the email is that some antivirus software & spam blocking programs automatically block emails with certain types of attachments. If you specified HTML format for the archiving the email would be especially susceptible to being blocked.

If addressing these issues does not work, then we will have to do some more research. Please keep let us know if these solutions work or not. smile.gif

I checked my junk mail folder and the messages weren't being dropped into there but I've recently changed over to the new Hotmail beta test version so on your advice I checked my contact listings and noticed that the webmaster@mediablvd.com address you gave me wasn't listed anywhere (you must have been there under the old Hotmail version though 'cause I used to get PM archives OK shrug.gif ) so I typed it back in and sent the archive request from here again and I'm pleased to report the messages have come through straight away this time. hurray.gif grin.gif

Thanks very much for your help thumbsup.gif
