They put one of Katie's early films, Bug Buster, on dvd. Now if only they can make Prince Valiant onto a dvd format lol. I loved that movie. Anyways Bug Buster dvd release date is Feb.13th.

Hey IAE...hmm odd. That must be a reissue or something because Bug Buster has been available on DVD for about 7 years (I have a US and a UK version). It has a different cover...it has Katie on it. The one I have does not. Interesting

You can get Prince Valiant on DVD from certain places - just not in the USA. Definitely worth checking overseas markets if you have a multiregion player for some of the hard to find items. Glad to help anyone out if they have any questions on where to find them.

Keith, I was wondering do you know what dvd players are multi-regional. Do you mind giving me a link to one on Amazon or something? I'm thinking of buying one in a few months when tax returns come in...hehe. I would love to view Prince Valiant dvd, but I only seen the Spanish dvd version. I have seen nothing that has the English-speaking dvd format .

Hi IAE,

Most of them can be made multi regional. The easiest ones to do are on PC's as you can just flash the BIOS and make it a multi region. The phyiscal players are more difficult - some come as multi region, others require combination of key presses on the remote control and others electronic component changes. In the UK you can get this done before you buy the item - but there are plenty of players on the market.

However a quick google search should give you brands which can be made Region free. It is quite possible your existing player can.

I think I got the Prince Valiant from Thailand or somewhere like that if memory serves and that is in English.

Yup its English...I wouldnt have bought it Its fairly readily available in Europe - Region 2.

Great One other thing just make sure your TV can play both PAL and NTSC pretty much all can these days.

Well, I bought a copy of Prince Valiant(yay lol). It's in English. I also unlocked my Region 1 dvd to multi-regional . YAY!!!

It's great site to use . Now just have to wait on Amazon for the dvd. Thanks again Keith. I wouldn't have known about the unlocking on dvd players without you .

New Cover Art

Seems like they are re-releasing a lot of Katherine's older projects - presumably hoping to cash in on her huge success. The original DVD packaging actually just had Jonathan Tucker on the cover with several women - none of whom were actually in the movie. Shame they didnt add any extras or anything.
