So friday night was great. The premier was great, shocking, and thrilling.

Friday night I was at the first night of SiliCon in San Jose at a hotel that didnt get Sci Fi Channel! but some pre-con planning saved the night for a bunch of people. The local Firefly/Serenity fan group Silicon Gulch Browncoats decided to have a viewing party, which I helped organize. The con was nice enough to loan us a 8ft screen, projecter and sound system. We had a friend record the east coast feed and run it over to the hotel. We had a packed hotel room with about 25ppl sitting anywhere they could.
Seeing the premier with so many people was great. After the showing we opened the bar and started discussing what we thought was instore for this season. Everyone who attended the premier recieved a 'So Say We All' ribbon that was made up for the con. Everyone there seemed really impressed with the first episode. There was a gasps from the women apon seeing fat Apollo with no shirt, and happy sounds of seeing Chief, Cally and baby Nicolas. women are suckers for men with babies.
So now next friday ill have to deal with watching BSG on my smaller tv with fewer people.

So what did everyone think of the new season? About Chiefs new role as an insergent?

THe chief was awesome of course. I really like how his character is developing. The chief is a natural leader and genuinely cares about his people.

I wonder what they are going to do with Ellen? She is a traitor. I really dont care if she had good intentions, her husbands life is potentioally not worth more than all the lives she gave up when she stole that map. I think she needs to be killed.

Starbuck is in a strange situation, I have no idea how that is going to end up. I do believe that the baby was injured by the cylons so that starbuck would lower her guard and let her feelings surface.

I am happy that callie got away and I hope that somehow roslin survived. Maybe Zarek got in front of her when the cylons fired and blocked the bullets?

Hey Aarron, I just read what you wrote on the sci fi BB. It was very well written and I agree wholeheartedly. Thank for stepping in and attempting to cool things down. I respect that. Now back to the discussion!!!
