Hope you do not mind me starting one but he is really hot, I think.

Sendhil Ramamurthy joins NBC's new ensemble drama series "Heroes" as Mohinder Suresh, a genetics professor at the University of Madras in India whose father's disappearance leads him to uncover a secret theory - there are people with extraordinary abilities living among us.
Recently, Ramamurthy completed the feature film "Blind Guy Driving," directed by James Keach. His other film credits include "Thanks to Gravity" opposite Sean Astin, "Orient Express" and "Little India."
On the small screen, he starred in the series "Ultimate Force," the television movie "My Sexiest Mistake" and the miniseries "In the Beginning." He has also made guest appearances on "Numbers," "The Evidence" and "Grey's Anatomy."
In London's West End, Ramamurthy starred in The Royal Shakespeare Company production of "A Servant to Two Masters," directed by Tim Supple. In addition, he commanded the stage in the New York premiere of Tom Stoppard's "Indian Ink" at the Soho Repertory Theatre and "East Is East," directed by Scott Elliott, at the Manhattan Theatre Club.
Ramamurthy is a graduate of the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Prior to drama school, he graduated from Tufts University in Boston. He was born in Chicago and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Currently, he lives in Los Angeles. His birthday is May 17. And his birthday is only 3 days before mine.

I gotta love my fellow Taurus.

Yeah me too. Even my mom remarked at how good looking he was.
Lady Isabel
Oct 18 2006, 02:37 AM
He's tall and lean, but not too lean. I like that.
I assumed by his accent that he grew up in Britain. I would have never guessed he was American.
WildB
Oct 18 2006, 02:43 AM
Yeah actually that shocked me too. I definitely did not think he was American either. But his going to school there helped him learn that accent.
Yeah he is very

worthy. This ep was good since him and Milo had scenes together.
Lady Isabel

I wonder if Mohinder's neighbour will become his love interest?
WildB
Oct 19 2006, 01:25 AM
I have a feeling. She is cute for him.
Lady Isabel
Oct 19 2006, 02:16 AM
I agree... I think they'd make a sweet couple.

I'm not sure that I trust her, though.
WildB
Oct 19 2006, 10:50 AM
Hmm really? Why?
Lady Isabel
Oct 19 2006, 11:29 AM
It is hard to know if she is just a friendly neighbour, or a mole instructed to monitor Mohinders movements by Claires father.
WildB
Oct 19 2006, 07:29 PM
Yeah I guess there is always that possibilty, which would be a major bummer.

I'm such a skeptic.
*Been watching too much Prison Break.*
WildB
Oct 21 2006, 06:01 PM
I was never home last year when Prison Break was on, so I never got to see it. I hear it is excellent. Maybe someday on DVD's I will watch it.

Well hopefully she is not a "spy".
Lady Isabel
Oct 22 2006, 02:06 AM
I would definitely recommend PB!
But, back to Mohinder and his neighbour... spy is a good choice of words.
WildB
Oct 22 2006, 11:49 AM
Yeah well I think I will start paying better attention to her. So far she has just seemed like a nice girl but the more I think about it, you could be right. At least Peter and he were alone on the subway.

I've noticed it is Mohinder's voice we hear as narrator in the end or sometimes beginning of the show usually. I love his voice. So sexy with that light accent.
Lady Isabel
Nov 9 2006, 03:28 PM
So true. Even if we don't have the pleasure of seeing him, we get to hear his narration. He has the perfect voice for it.

This is very interesting to note, as an Indian (albeit a South African one), because all the Indian men in the industry have this
polished look (how to describe it exactly is beyond me atm) but I am super happy that Sendhil doesn't have it. He looks more real Indian, than made up Indian which is nice is my book. And yes, his accent does have it's appeal

What I find funny is that he was born in the Chicago, IL though.

He really does not talk with an accent.

That's interesting. Usually American actors can't pull off believable accents. That's why you see so many foreign actors playing Americans, but usually not the other way around.

Well he lived in England for awhile, that is why.
