For those people in the UK, SCIFI channel will be airing the UPN series of the Twilight Zone from Monday April 26th. Look out for Katherines episode - entitled Cradle of Darkness (probably one of, if not the best episode in the entire season).
Details on the UK SciFI channel website..

I cant seem to work out when its airing yet...

You could say that. That would be a bit of an understatement....
For anyone in the UK, Katherine can be seen in Cradle Of Darkness - an episode from the now cancelled UPN Series "The Twilight Zone" - on the SCI FI channel in July. Details on the website:
http://www.kheigl.com/news/040604-1.shtml
It is probably one of the best, if not the best, episodes from the series...and Katherine is fantastic in the lead role.

The entire series is also coming to DVD soon (in Region 1). They think all the cameo roles will pull in the sales.

If its Katherine related its never off topic here
Descendant has actually appeared on Sky Movies if memory serves.
I didnt realise there was such a thing as the Horror channel - I have NTL and they dont currently carry it.
That said you could always buy Descendant on DVD - I did
Teddy
May 17 2005, 12:00 PM
Yeah, i also use NTL, and they dont show it, its a SKY exclusive.
I also dont have the Movie channels. :'( which have been showing My Father the Hero, the past few weeks.
So without buying or renting the movie, its kinda rare for me to come across anything with Katherine in it..

You probably need to get your wallet out and visit Amazon
Sometimes you will catch them on terrestrial TV - they certainly do show from time to time. Prince Valiant was on BBC over Xmas and MFTH on ITV fairly recently. Valentine was on Channel 4 a while back.
Also Hallmark aired both Love Comes Softly and Love's Enduring Promise to name but a few.
Also if you ask me nicely I might be able to help out.

The episode Cradle of Darkness starts in 4 or 5 weeks in Germany, itīs sad that the episode is dubbed, so I donīt get the chance to hear that fake german accent.. I would love it to hear that *Laughing*

Yeah

She certainly sounded like a German person speaking English to my ear - and I have heard quite a few.
I can't imagine watching it dubbed...very strange. You have my sympathy. Its a great episode though - you will really enjoy it.

I hope she has her "Faked Voice" like in Roswell.... cause this voice was similar to her original.
P.S: I hate it when German people speak english... sounds horrible...
Yep, I know, Iīm also a German girl.... lol But Iīm able to speak.. sounds arrogant.. -.-
Does have anyone this episode in the original on the PC and could send me that episode? Iīm so curious... would be amazing.

I Just watched the episode Cradle of Darkness here in Germany.. and I have to say.. I loved her in this role... she was absolutely stunning.
Well Austria didnīt look like this at the end of the 19th century and the panorama was very faked, but the theory about the baby was a great idea...

I thought it was a reasonable depiction of the era scenery wise. What did you think was wrong?
It was a good twist - really enjoyed the episode - though its been sometime since I last saw it. I do have the DVD though
Katherine was excellent. She is such an expressive actress - be it happiness, fear, excitment, anger, sadness - her face conveys emotion so well.

Like I said... Austria didnīt look like this... in the 19th century... The background with the bridge.. and the river... was really faked, it didnīt look real.. but thats all I got to say... the rest of the episode was really great Katherine in all case

I was channel surfing looking for something to watch (cause I had too much coffee earlier) and at 2am by chance I came upon the Twilight Zone and was just about to change the channel when Katie enters the scene. The episode is about Katie's character (sorry I didn't catch her name yet) goes back in time to kill Hitler when he was a baby.
It's still playing so I don't know the ending yet. Back to the show.

Thanks Musiagal - a good reminder of a really excellent episode - very enjoyable tv. Katherine does a great job in this. I actually think it was probably one of, if not the best episode of the entire new series.
It is available on the Twilight Zone Box Set DVD if anyone is interested. Unfortunately you can't buy it on its own - so it may be a big purchase for some people.

I took a wee bit of French in high school to understand a little bit of it, but since I don't know a lot why was Katie's character trying to kill the baby? What he is like a Jack the Ripper or something?

The story goes that she is sent back in time to try and stop the genocideof the Jewish people by jumping back to when Hilter was a baby to stop him growing up.

Thanks Keith

. I finally had the time and sit down and watch it tonight. I only seen a few episodes of the this new TWZ show, and frankly they weren't very good. But as it said in many places this episode was really decent. Kinda reminded me of the episode in the original Star Trek where these enemies try to kill Captain James T. Kirk's mother, so Kirk will never be born.
I really liked Katie's accent in this. It was neat to hear her with this Austrian-style accent. Instead of her Lonnie-style accent of New York(kinda like that one too

).
I knew that baby in the beginning would become Adolf Hitler, and the key would be significant I knew it. Well, that or I was wondering if she was going to kill Adolf's father instead since he was the one, in this interpretation, that influence Adolf's beliefs and views.
