As focused as the "Unfinished Business" episode was on the Kara/Lee relationship, the bits with Chief in the ring with Papadama were SO awesome. I would love to hear from Aaron about how it was to film scenes where he gets to beat up EJO nod.gif Especially knowing how much Aaron respects him.

What did the rest of you think of those scenes with Chief and Adama?

I'm not a huge fight fan, but I enjoyed the episode. I'm glad we finally got some back story on the missing year.

Seems to me that the Chief got the best of Adama wink.gif. I bet it was a fun episode to shoot.

Kudos to Aaron, EJO and everyone who put that scene together. It looked pretty believeable.

I loved the episode and EJO and Ad's work. However, while I understood the point of Adama's speech, I didn't understand why he was picking on Chief. Kara, who is one of Adama's favorites also asked to stay on New Caprica, as did Gaeta, and Col Tigh, and so many others. Why was he so annoyed that Chief wanted to stay too? And when did Cally and Chief get married? Before or after she was pregnant? We went from him beating her to a pulp (when he was in a pychotic state) to them being married with a baby on New Caprica. No filling in on that from tonight's episode.

At the fight, Adama asked the Cheif about the rediness of one of the ships, and he replied that he decided to give his team a break so they could go to the dance, and that they would get to it later. (not the exact phrase, but the main idea) This is what set Adama off.. that his crew were slacking off, and not at battle ready.

I have one other question/comment.... how did they get the fight scenes so realistic? How long did it take to film them? Did they work with a stunt man, was their training for them? I'll have to go back again and watch to see how many cuts there were in sequences (I was so mesmerized by the action that I didn't notice any)

I did ask Aaron about the flash back scenes, and he said those were filmed during episode 3 which explains why the continuity was so well done.

I don't think we have gotten the answers with regards to how Chief and Cally got together, or which came first -- the baby or the marriage. Hopefully they will give us that info eventually. I have noticed from Ron Moore's podcasts that sometimes a scene with "answers" gets shot but then gets cut for time. An example is that there was a scene that explained how Tigh and Starbuck became so buddy-buddy on New Caprica, but it had to be cut from the episode it was shot for. I hope we still get to see that scene eventually.

Speaking of Ron's podcasts, the podcast for UB is him, his wife, Grace Park and Tahmoh. They do discuss the boxing quite a bit, Lisa, so you may be interested to hear about that nod.gif
