Thanks for letting us know Lisa smile.gif

Thanks Lisa! Off to read....

wave.gif Funny thing is I decided to check there first( on his site) before going into BOF's thread.
He sure got me laughing over that "rehab" thing, gosh funny guy eh! But I glad to hear things are going good for him, I am crossing my fingers on 2 things, 1) that the Paddyville goes thru, & 2nd) Hopefully "Dan" will stand & get outa that damn chair eh. lol.gif wink.gif
Okay. wave.gif
Vinity
lol.gif he could let you know too, eh? Lisa lol.gif

edited back in after reading the rant.

lmao.gif as usual. Love the touch of paranoia at the end. I choose to think the sight lack of work is TPTB letting him get used to being married and the calm before the storm grin.gif

On the rehab front. Well, he's already done the shaving the head thing, eek.gif more than once! lol.gif

jawdrop.gif at the comment about goings-on in the CSI thread eek.gif Maybe we should get serious about a petition for them to have more for him to do? What do y'all think?

Lisa
Heh.. he rarely tells me when he has posted something (I think he likes to keep me on my toes wink.gif )

Now that he is a computer expert (he must be channeling Dan). He doesn't even have computer/technical questions for me. lol.gif
Vinity
Did he take a puter class?
Clarity
lmao.gif Brendan's such a hoot, I love reading his rants and posts.

We really do need to start that CSI petition and get him more work/time on that show--can't have him shaving his head and checking into rehab. wink.gif lol.gif I admit to being slightly alarmed that he's apparently checking over the CSI thread eek.gif skep.gif and if he ever mentions the SCR and Calleigh, I might just pass out lmao.gif right next to Vin and PQ!

I hope Paddyville goes through, too. And I'm happy that he's obviously happy and doing great, despite some work questions at the moment! I have no worries, though, he's too talented to not be working!

Thanks, Lisa, for the heads up> smile.gif

Lisa, if Brendan seems to have a bit of downtime right now, is he up for answering some of our questions? <looks hopeful> I was just thinking I'd ask about Fifth Patient...

Thanks,

Clarity

I'm not sure how it'd work exactly I think it would just be a bunch of us mailing in comments to the writers, I'd mention it on BFO if that would give it a boost. Like I said not sure, but it appears like I've been given the designated role of petitioner lol.gif Which is no problem but can it like hold off to the 9th? Please? lol.gif

You're alarmed?! I seriously thought he was going to mention the SCR, and I would've passed out (but recovered quick) and PMed you two and um see above or petitiony talk smile.gif

If people can come up with 10 great questions that haven't been asked before I'll send them on to Brendan... I'm sure he wouldn't mind answering them.
Sue
I love that he's just written to let us know things are still spineyes.gif confused.gif - no rehab for our boy wink.gif Is it awful that I like the shaved head "style" lol.gif

I would like to know what scenes he has on his reel tape - I'll post this question on the question thread. He told me he had the lift scene from The Long Weekend when I mentioned it was the best bit of the film IMHO and I think he has the red shoes scene from Series 1 Roswell[ in Sexual Healing ??]

Maybe we could list our 5 best/favourite scenes showing a variety of his acting ability - you know not just Make Out scene in Heatwave [ lol.gif second best bit of Roswell ever!!] make out scene in Crazy, Make out scene in eraser room 1 Make out scene in eraser room part 2 etc wink.gif

Vinity
Sue, I like the idea of one of us making Brendan's reel tape smile.gif

thanks for the heads up

Yes, Sue, I second Vin (again! grin.gif), great idea for us to 'make' Brendan's reel. Five scenes?

Two for sure, for me, are the scene where he comes in from the rain in "Independence Day" ep of Roswell to Maria, it's a great moment for showing Michael's loneliness and vulnerability, he doesn't say a word but you know it all from Brendan's face and actions. bawl.gif The other is from "Sugar" when Cliff goes to see a very strung out, freaked out Butch, and he runs the gamut from 'happy' to crazy to angry--just the opposite of Michael in ID, lots of dialogue and actions showing how far Butch has fallen, and Brendan does a great job without going over the top. Hmm, I also like his last scene in "Nemesis Game" with that character's past history revelation, and he was great in "Edge of Madness" Simon was a bad character but Brendan made you understand why and have some sympathy for him while you hated the things the character did. That's not a scene though... Anyway, just my 2 cents on some great scenes from Brendan. Oooh, I also like Michael pleading with Isabel to not die in "Chant Down Babylon." He cries well.

Lisa, I asked my "Fifth Patient" question in the right thread but I don't think I'd put it in the category of "great questions" though. lol.gif That's great though, must be 10 choice questions in the thread, so hope to hear answers from Brendan soon. grin.gif

Thanks!

Clarity Notice I made Heatwave scene second best ever in Roswell lol.gif There is no scene in my opinion that is better than the rain scene in Independence Day grin.gif Just melts me every time. thud.gif

lol.gif I love how the rant ends lol.gif

Oh yeah, me, too--I'd liked Michael (and the show), and therefore Brendan, before that--but that episode and that scene turned me into a Obsessed Dedicated Fan wink.gif grin.gif I've watched it many, many times, and will always associate the song "Run" with that scene. In fact, I saved my tapes of Roswell because the DVDs had to change many songs and that was one of them. sad.gif I thought it so identifiable with that scene that if I'd been the PTB, I would have put out the $$ for it, but maybe Collective Soul wouldn't let them use it on the DVDs anyway... sad.gif
