I couldn't find the website update thread, so I guess it's time for a new one!

Brendan Fehr has mentioned in an interview that you introduced him to his wife Jennifer, I wondered (if it's not too personal) if you went to their wedding?



I'm so happy this is the case. Obviously Devon is more than ok with Majandra and Brendan's friendship and history since him and Brendan are golf buddies so I'm glad that Brendan's wife Jennifer understands and respects Majandra and Brendan's friendship.

There is an awesome fan site called MAD Online, I wondered if you had seen it and what you thought of it and other sites dedicated to you?

I like the new intro art (even though it only says Coming Soon ) and music on Majandra's website. I can't wait to see if the whole thing is going to be redesigned.

Isn't the music real interesting in how she has distorted her vocals, Tarte is going to be very different in style to The Sicks, I seriously cannot wait to hear it.

There were vocals on the background music , it sounded instrumental to me on my laptop but it could be my speakers.

I still can't hear it, it sounded like horns to me and that there is an echo but it could just be my speakers on my computer. That does make sense what you're saying Kate though.

I agree that it sounds like her distorted vocals overlaid on the drums. Which is freakin' awesome. I love the new sound, regardless, but it sounds like her mixed over the drum line.

I wonder if Majandra has ever thought of setting up a myspace account and selling her music through that? A lot of indie artists are doing this and it looks a lot cheaper than putting out CDs--especially since everyone has an ipod or mp3 player of some sort.

Majandra has never had a myspace page. There are several Majandra myspace pages and you can download singles off some of them, but they are all fan sites. In fact, she's had problems with people impersonating her on myspace. It wasn't too long ago that she had to actually bring lawyers in to get the page changed so people knew it wasnt' her. She only communicates through her personal website and occassionally here.



She did have 3 tracks from her last album available for download on Amazon. Like I mentioned above, she has had problems with myspace and prefers to deal through her official site. I also think she really enjoys releasing the album as a package of her songs and artwork. Maybe sometime in the future she'll be able to offer her CD as a download too.

Tom confirm on the french forum that the music you can heard on the website was MAD distorted vocals....

Tom confirm on the french forum that the music you can heard on the website was MAD distorted vocals....

The site is amazing. I love the airy feel to it as well as the old-fashioned themed artwork. Very Victorian, for lack of a better description. It's definitely different than any other website around. Cudos to the brilliant designer...err...whoever that is...
