Yeah, finally, But where did everyone go to?? It seems to quiet here lately! Or maybe it's quiet because of the weekend and the Nice weather.(At least the weather is nice where I live).

We had 28°C too today... beautiful blue sky... it was gorgeous outside. I just wish we had a lake or something close.

Oh and for you Fahrenheit ppl: 28°C is about 82°F. 25°C is 77°F.

I had to poke myself all day and tell myself: it's April... 15th!!! It's NOT summer!

Oh, now I'm getting jealous we had a warm day today, and it was only 15 in celcious:) But then again, I live in a winter-land.. it doesn't get warmer yet

Well - the new job didn't work out at all. That nasty old man was more than I could take. I finally quit this past Tuesday. I feel more disappointed for myself than I do about letting them down. Ah well, back to the job hunt.

Everyone seems to be talking about their local weather so I'll just join in. It was 35 C yesterday afternoon, and at 9 a.m. this morning it was already 30 C. Maybe summer has finally arrived in southern Ontario.

Has anyone been watching Drive? I turned my neighbours and Nadia on to it and it's totally fab. Oh Maja - btw - it stars Nathan Fillion, and there are quite a few other Firefly alumni involved.

Î'm watching it, Faran! I mean... Nathan... you don't have to tell me twice to watch it! It's not really my type of show (car race ) but it seems, they're focusing a bit more on the characters now, so it doesn't get too boring.

I always hated Fred in Angel but it was nice to see Amy Acker there, too, and I wondered why "Pickett" LOST his nose band aid.

Hey all, still on the job hunt, but there are listings every day in the paper for someone with my qualifications, so I'm hoping something comes along soon.

I went out for lunch with some friends on Saturday and I guess someone decided I didn't need an outside mirror on the passenger side of my car. I came back to find it hanging off the side of the car by a few wires. I've contacted insurance and am going up to the collision centre today.

Will my bad luck with that car never end?

I sat down to watch Drive last night, having completely forgotten that it's been cancelled. I still can't believe that they only gave it 3 weeks! It was only intended to be a minimal short arc show anyway; they should have just let it play out.

3 weeks? I wish they'd gotten so much...

Drove premiered on April 15th and they pulled the plug on April 24th.... not even 10 days and 4 episodes later.

Time flies by, doesn't it? You seem to be in good company btw... I got an email from a good friend last week, telling me she got married 2 weeks ago (and yes, I am still pretty bummed that she didn't tell me before... since she seemed to have planned it for quite a while), then the brother of a friend of mine is getting married at the end of May and the sister of another friend of mine is getting married in July or August. She and her future-hubby decided to go on holidays in Australia and get married there in secret but someone spoiled it and now everyone knows about.

So, it seems a bit like everyone's getting married this year (or next year... 2 other friends of mine are talking about getting married next year).

Just I remain the spinster...

I'm in a very good mood today, because I got very important and good news. My mom was at the doctor a few days ago and she got very bad news about her blood test and it seems to be that the blood illeness she had hardly survived when she was twenty came back. The doctor decided to make test again to be sure and the last two days were days of hopes and fears. I thought about cancel the wedding and my mom thought about her last will... but now the second test shows that everything is fine and the first one was wrong. The doctor said that it was a mistake from the laboratory. I'm very happy now

Goodness Gracious Kyra! I'm certainly glad that everything's okay, but whoa, how nerve racking! I guess that's why they say doctors just "practice" medicine - cos they never seem to get it just right.
