Evening Aaron,
If you get the chance to check this post, I just wanted to say it was great to meet you and finally deliver on a promise I made a couple of years back to give you a little something to add to your militaria collection if you were ever in town. And thanks for your time.
My wife Kath and I enjoyed listening to your stories during the Q&A session, and mate I think you have a future in stand-up. It was nice to see the house packed and it just shows how popular the show is. The story about your little boy and the Viper that wouldnt fly was great and the one about the pyrotechnics blowing up during filming brought memories back of one of my own encounters with a mortar simulator in the Army Reserve. Makes me ache to think of it.
I saw the "catwoman". Yep!
Aaron, if you'd like a potted history about the insignia and the unit history drop me a line here and I'll post a bit more.
I hope you got a chance to see an AFL match while your here.
Cheers
Craig Lynch
p.s. hope the other item keeps your beers cool.
