This show seems to be getting better all the time! smile.gif . So lets see,

Spolier alert If you haven't seen the 2nd show of the season yet::

I was happy to finally see what the "twins" powers are, & wow! that Brother is sorta like "Peter" in the way of keeping all the powers eh. I hope they reach America soon though...

Yeah & I liked how claire cut her toe off, & it grew back, but then I knew it would happen, because it always did before, I just didn't get why she didn't think it already ( her body parts growing back agian when if damaged or cut off),

I like that doctors powers too, I remember it from last years episodes. That he was like" dreaming" & then "comming out" of it, ( like he did on tonights show) I'm just wondering if his "power" is like a "dreamwalker" type of deal. what does everyone else think??

That young guy, from Claire's classroom is suposed to be her "future boyfriend", or yeah that is a spolier, blush.gif (sorry) but it's written in a lot of articles, smile.gif . he can fly like her father can. Yeah he's cool!

Okay can't wait for next weeks eppisode.

HeavyMetalQueen, there is no need to use the spoiler tags on this thread once the new ep has aired here in the United States. This is a discussion thread for once it airs.

Well Heroes was great again last night.

The twins powers are weird and freaky in a way, but I really do feel for them. I was surprised I would.

I love that Mohinder and Mr. Bennett are in cahoots and knew about their Haitian friend being in trouble and Mohinder helping him out and him getting in touch with Mr. Bennett again.

I love Hiro. He rocks! lol.gif I loved how he took on being the Warrior and used his powers to win that battle...The Battle of 12 swords. lol.gif And poor guy wanting to kiss the girl but not being able to. I was suprised to see the real guy "healed", so he is special like them after all.

Claire cutting off her toe creeped me out a bit. I was glad it grew back, that would have been nasty otherwise. I wanted her to look up at what Mr. Muggles was barking at. I figured her guy pal was floating around up there. lol.gif The lizard concept in with the story was pretty cool though. We have lizards all over the place here and I know their tails grow back and I never thought about the connection it would have with the show.

And Peter...Oh Peter drool.gif drool.gif Ok now that I got that out of my system, I can carry on with my thoughts about his storyline. The Irish mob thing is pretty interesting. I am still thinking the brother of the girl has powers and that is why they did not look at him too crazy. I loved how Peter came to the rescue of that girl using his powers even though he has no real memory of having them. So I wonder if this box really holds all that the guy said it does or is there more to it than that. I think there is.

With the vast majority of the exposition covered in the season premiere, this episode is free to cover several elements of plot progression. That gives the episode something of a transitional feel, though with “Heroes”, that’s never quite accurate a description. Nuances are introduced and pieces continue to shift on the board.

Mohinder has begun his work with the Company, confirming that there is a disease afflicting the powered and that his blood contains the cure. I honestly didn’t remember any of that from the first season, but the casual mention of it in this episode leads me to believe it was simply my oversight. His involvement with the Haitian brings back one of the best recurring characters from the first season, and sending him to work with Mr. Bennett is a nice touch. It’s now confirmed that Matt and Mohinder are living in the same apartment, if nothing else, than to keep constant watch over Molly.

The attack on Angela Petrelli seems to rule her or Nathan out as the one hunting the original Twelve. It’s still possible that Angela has an ability that would allow her to harm herself remotely, but that feels like a longshot explanation. In this case, Mr. Bennett’s painting of Mr. Nakamura’s death is an interesting piece of information. The founders of the Company came out of the Twelve, the previous generation’s powered elite. Three of them were dead by the end of the first season, leaving nine. If one of them is killing the others, that would mean eight deaths. It appears Isaac Mendez has a painting for each of the remaining Twelve, which is a nice touch. It should give the writers an expressive way to foreshadow upcoming events and generate more tension. Additionally, Matt’s role as detective should help keep that side of the story cohesive.

Hiro takes his first step towards establishing the legend of Takezo Kensei through his own actions. This is some of the best material in the episode (“I wouldn’t do that…hahaha!”), even if it does fall into a certain cliché. It would be a shame if Hiro were cast as the white Kensei’s mysterious benefactor, especially if he helps Kensei win the heart of Yaeko. Hiro deserves someone like that, someone who can boost his confidence. How Kensei’s own ability will factor into the situation remains to be seen.

Despite the memory loss, Peter’s control over his abilities is better than ever. It’s hard to imagine that regaining his memories will change that, so some other method of limiting his power will need to be introduced. After all, Superman had kryptonite, and Peter is about as close to this series’ Superman as it gets. The situation with the lovely Caitlin is a bit conventional, especially rescuing her from assault, but the eventual complication might make up for it. (Too bad he doesn’t have the ability to stop people from using bad Irish accents.)

As one would expect, Claire is having trouble with the requirement to appear normal and bland. Claire makes a good point; in high school, keeping to yourself and maintaining a low profile is an easy way to get single out and noticed. Of course, gaining the notice of another powered student makes it difficult as well. With Mr. Bennett tempting fate with his allies against the Company, one might expect Claire to expose them at the absolute worst time.

In terms of Maya and Alejandro, much of what was already assumed regarding their connection has been confirmed. Maya releases some form of deadly pathogen, but Alejandro has the ability to control it. My personal suspicion is that they will come looking for Mohinder but end up in the wrong hands, potentially in some bid to create another disaster like the one planned by Linderman. Admittedly, it is far too early to tell.

If there is one negative aspect to the season thus far, it’s the growing realization that the web comics are integral to the story. While the plot details are covered on the show itself, a lot of the character background appears to be covered online. This is certainly a book to those with the time and desire to dig more deeply into the story, it’s not entirely fair to the viewers, especially when discussions point out how apparent plot holes are filled with supplementary online information. It’s not a huge issue, but it is a source of annoyance.

Claire's thoughts that she could save people by being able to grow extra body parts and organs is interesting. There was so much speculation last season about what saving her had to do with saving the world, this could be part of that. Or maybe her blood is also a cure, like Mohinder's, for the plague.

Yes, Peter was quite enjoyable in this episode. drool.gif
