Bracing themselves for the possibility of an apocalyptic war, Sam and Dean realize they have an enormous task of hunting down the hundreds of demons that escaped from the Devil's Gate.

With only a year left to live, Dean decides to live life to the fullest and exhibits a carefree attitude that troubles Sam, who is trying to find a loophole in the deal. Bobby tells the brothers about a sighting in Nebraska that turns out to be seven demons that are the actual manifestations of the Seven Deadly Sins.

Okay, long podcast Where do I start...

I support Clarity's 'Off' point. I'm just not sure I can explain the 'why' to myself.

The 'Crossroad Blues' point was good. So, who went back to watch it after the podcast?

Clarity, I think it was a great observation about Envy envy his neighbor right before he was possessed by, well, Envy, and how you built the theory that the Sins possessed people who were already... guilty, I guess (I can't think of a better word right now ), in commiting those Sins. Kudos on that I think it works perfectly with Envy's speech later on about humans.

Intersting point on Sam staying outside of the house.

The 'shallow' observation about 'Get those boys shirtless' (I'm rephrasing ) simply made me clap and cry with laughter.

When you guys talked about Ruby disappearing twice it made me think. I didn't think she disappeared when Sam looked back. I simply thought she hid behind the wall. But after hearing you talking about it...

Tracker. PQ, can you explain more?

Nice point on Envy speech and Dean's earlier words in the episode.

The 'Boy King', the YED and the other demons discussion was interseting. Personally, I think that it's not far-fetched to believe that Sam should lead the forces of Evil (and that Dean is his complete opposite).


Interesting thought about Dean getting killed while fighting in the deal context. Though 'Does Dean going to Hell?' sounds... I mean, Dean? Going to Hell? Dean?

Crossing the street and a truck hit him? Can you imagine ghost Dean surviving this?

And intersting thought about what if Sam dies...


A few things occurred to me while litening to you guys. The first is that while I knew that Sam died (haven't actually seen it, but...), I didn't think about it in the context of what John told Dean in IMTOD. Sam died. It wasn't Dean who killed him, but Sam died. How much does it change in the big picture?

Another thing is you mentioning 'the people who aren't demons' in the episode, right after you've talked about some demons not getting the focus. I don't have an answer, but I'm wondering, does each of the people that we've seen represents a demon who got focus? For example, Dean can be seen as driven by Lust. So... Am I making sense here?


I have a question I didn't catch on the show you guys were talking about when referring to the Seven Sins (while talking about what's behind the episode). Can you... ?

I have a wacked out imagination But serious I really do think there's like a chain ladder of sorts - for demons and Sam through some yet unknown reason is high priority number one - infact I'm beginning to think Mary was part demon




Even if he got killed I still think he would go because I figure the demon news letter has to like, have some kind of radar on Dean and Sam every week And they want Dean - badly. Plus if he got killed unexpectedly and wasn't ready to go then yeah he'd be another "Molly" (eg. "Roadkill")



I have no idea, but I think that could be why everything might be messed with a bit - perse.

I love you, my wonderful little friend, Maj. Just wanted to say that.

I just wanted to say again here, that you did a really excellent job with the first show! I was really impressed at some of the points that were brought up, and actually was inspired to go back and re-watch the episode after we talked about it.

PQ, don't worry about us hearing you and your mom go at it! That sort of thing is what gives these shows character! I have to worry about my cat yowling, and the dogs barking, and an occasional toddler crying at times.

The one thing that we need to work on is getting the voices a little more even. PQ, were you talking on a speaker phone, or something? I'm not sure why, but your voice seems very low comparitively. Maybe you just need to yell!

I'm thinking the phone card problem may have been due to it potentially only letting one person use the pin at a time? Not sure, but that is easily resolvable.

Again, it was really a great show, and I was extremelly impressed. You should listen back to some of the first shows of "The Two Doctors" or "Bionic Angels". Those definitely had their bumps in the road, and I can honestly say your first show was better than our first few on T2D.

I let my Mom and Dad hear, they cracked up and my Dad was like "Wait they LET this on the air?" My Dad said 'lay off the 'um' so yeah but he kept laughing everytime we did it.



I was yelling and I was on speaker phone next week I won't be so scattered and will know what I'm doing so I can pick up the phone. Plus we had the phone on low. Bad PQ. Next week I'll pick up the phone and try it that way.

Which you didn't reveal I was just thinking that the 'Tracker' was a reference to... a hunter, but a special hunter, if that makes sense.

I'm not sure about Mary, but the plot is thicking.

Say Sam is the King. Whose King? If he was the demons, would they have gone against him?

The whole confusion of 'how many were there?'. We know who Envy is. We know who Pride is. We know who Lust is. We know the others (or so I think), but we didn't get to know them like we did the others. Now Dean is the one to always be connected with sex. Hence, lust. Lust. One of the demons we got to find out more about, or to see more of. So my question is, if there's a connection between the hunters in this episode and the demons we've gotten to know/see.

Something else. It was when you were talking about the sins... Something about a reference you thought they should have made, but didn't (if I remember right).

Possibly not, or maybe it was there but I didn't really say it I think it ties more into her looking out for Sam but ah well that's what next week is for



I still say they're working for someone else that has plans for Sam bigger than the YED, but feh, what do I know?



I doubt it unless you think Issac had an eating issue (gluttony), Sam had a Pride issue, and whatever else. *shrug*

That teaches me not to use low speaker phone anymore - whoops (am picking up the phone next time!) plus I had no idea the phone volume was on low

And I just got a rather interesting email from a person with no itunes yet has an mp3 player - that one stumped me a bit and the comment from portugal threw me for a loop at that was only 45 minutes in

One thing that I know is true, is that everyone thinks they sound horrible when they hear their own voice. I know I do. In fact, it's really, really hard for me to listen to myself when I'm transcribing an interview or something, and I'm almost to the point where I don't listen to my own shows unless I need to transcribe something.

Clarity, were you on a land line phone or cell phone? I was calling in on a cell, but have noticed my voice being really low at times when I use a land line. But Angela (my wife) uses the same land line for bionic angels and sounds loud. (She's from Texas though, so maybe Texans just talk loud). I think just picking the hand set up will probably fix the problem.

Kenn, I was on my cellphone with my hands-free, not a Bluetooth, just an "old fashioned" corded one. I could hear you just fine--you have a very nice voice, btw. Hopefully PQ with her phone on loud this weekend will be easier for me to hear.

That's funny about your wife maybe being loud because she's from Texas--I guess that's Jensen and Jared's reason, too! "SAM!!" "DEAN! SHOTGUN!"
