Nominated for five academy awards, eight Golden Globes, ten Emmys and numerous Tony awards, actress Glenn Close has made her mark in all aspects of acting. The three time Tony award winner, and winner of the Golden Globe for The Lion in Winter, and of the Emmy for Serving in Silence: The Margarethe Cammermeyer Story, returned to television last summer in FX’s latest hit show. One of her previous Emmy nominations was for the networks police drama, The Shield.
