Hello ~Pooh~!

No, I have never been a bone marrow donor, but I was thinking of registering and the day I put the question “here” I didn’t know that much about it. I have read up since then…
I found information that only about 30 percent of the donors are found in the immediate family. If I could help, having THE matching bone marrow, I would like to help. We all just take our bodies functions for granted and don't have to think about them...our bodies do it 'automatically'. Our heart beats, we breath, our bone marrow produce blood cells so that they can transport the oxygen through our blood vessels, we eat and our body take care of the vitamins, minerals and nutrition...it all happens while we are busy with our life...working, loving, laughing...living. But...it can all change in a second.
IF I can help...I want to help. I am a blood donor, but as a woman you are only able/allowed to donate blood three times a year. Blood is always needed and if you are reading this and you are thinking of becoming a blood donor…make that phone call today. You can save someone's life!
Take Care ~Pooh~ and Happy New Year!
