Gorgeous and Green 2007

Global Green USA celebrated its third annual SF benefit party at Bently Reserve. The event, which focused on "green design solutions to combat climate change and other environmental issue," attracted a host of pro-green celebrities including Jason Lewis, Josie Maran, Jason Behr, Michelle Branch and Kadee Strickland. Proceeds from that night have been funneled into projects such as the Green Schools Initiative and the Holy Cross project, the first sustainable low-income housing community in New Orleans’s Lower 9th Ward.


On a side note:D
I guess great minds work alike the MOB charity for his birthday donation this year was to Rebuilding homes in New Orleans.

GLOBAL GREEN USA CELEBRATES THIRD ANNUAL BENEFIT AT BENTLY RESERVE

Global Green USA held their third Annual San Francisco Benefit Party at the LEED certified Bently Reserve. Formerly the old Federal Reserve Bank Building, it was recently renovated as a conference and special events venue.

Hundreds of supporters celebrated Global Green USA, founded in 1993 by Diane Meyer Simon, as the American affiliate of Mikhail Gorbachev's Green Cross International.

Of course, the eco-savvy crowd with lots of young celebrities included Mayor Gavin Newsom, actor Jason Lewis (Sex and the City), actress Josie Maran, singer Michelle Branch, Matt Petersen, CEO of Global Green USA, and Nadine Weil, founder of Green Heart.

Others among the crowd: Roger Barnett of Shaklee; actress Q'orianka Kilcher, who played Pocahontas in the film The New World; Nicholas Graham, who made the brand Joe Boxer popular; actors Kadee Strickland and Jason Behr, who are married in real life; green writer Zem Joaquin; and music artist Stephan Jenkins of Third Eye Blind.

Thanks Vicki, but I have a question. Is it new or old because Jason and KaDee attended the same kind of events last year with what appears to be the same clothes...

To be honest. I have no clue. It just appeared on the news wire this morning, if anyone can find out let me know and I will update the news item with an official date. I dated it what the date on the article said.

I totally agree Jessiebehr! Kadee is so beautiful but that look is terrible on her.

IT looks like pics from the event last year? Because I have to say they both have had better looks and I thought right away hey.... that was last years event.

I think they are already in NYC for the weekend anyhow.

I want to go so bad for that showing to think I might miss him
