Nathan----Practice ends and I get changed and am ready to leave for home. Luke comes in to the locker room and comes over to me. He tells me that I need to talk to Haley about my grades because he got a letter telling how all the players are doing and I need help. He says he knows Haley will help me and I need to tell her. I say I will and remind him he is baby sitting for us. I head home and Luke already there. Haley is playing with Jamie and she has on a really pretty dress. "You look beautiful Hales

I smile "thank you..." i loved how Nathan was so sweet / romantic sometimes "look who is here Jamie..its daddy.." i release Jamie from my arms and he walks over Nathan and i smile "he missed you ..how was practise?"


is Jamie walking already? i totally forgot..how old could he be now? lol

Nathan----"Hey little man." I pick him up and play with him.


I am sure he was walking when Nate was playing ball.

I smile and walk over to them and the three of us sit down and i kiss Nathan and pull away "so how was practise?? Did Whitey gave you ah ard time?"

Nathan----"No. He enjoys Jamie, he thinks of him as a grand son Hales. He likes you also. The only thing he said was you should come around more. That I had a really good practice and he thinks its because you were there."

Haley

I smile "Whitey is so sweet..I think he sees us as the new version of Whitey and Camilla...he loved her so much..its so unfair.." i sigh "i will come more often then and i was thinknig maybe we can invite him over for a dinner?" Nathan gives me a look "Not tonight of course!" i chuckle "Tonight its OUR night"

Nathan----"I guess we can do that. Maybe we can invite some of the guys also. I do not want to look like I am kissing up to the coach. I mean Luke lives here and Whitey watches Jamie every day. The guys give me a har time some times about this."

Haley

"We can..but i want to do something nice for Whitey..he has been so wonderful with us and Jamie..besides he is the reason you are playing basket ball" i smile "we can invite the guys but i want to have another dinner with just Whitey..he deserves it."

Nathan----"With out me this team would not be winning Hales. Yeah Whitey helped me but I have helped him also."

"Ok..but if he didnt get the coach job position you wouldnt be here...you are helping him a lot Nathan of course..al li am saying is that Whitey has been doing a lot for us.."

Nathan-----"He has helped me a lot Hales. You are right. In high school he is the one who helped me when you left to go on tour. Every one tried to help me but he was the one I really listeened to. I have always had more respect and I guess even love for him than I have had for Dan. Dinner would be a nice thing to do for him but only if you let me help."

"He even tried to help us to get back togheter.." i smile "yeah, he has been a role model to you..like a father.." i sigh "Oh you are gonna help me mister, dont worry about that..these days I`ve been forgetting about my pride or whatever and take any help people offer." i chuckle.

Nathan----"We are going out for dinner man. Than when we get home if you do not want to see our kissing than you better be in your room. Tonight is definitely going to be a Naley night." I smirk than kiss Haley again.

I giggle and Nahan has his arms wrapped round my waist so i wrap my around his neck and kiss him back then pull away.

"Hey!!" i chuckle and go and kiss my sons cheek "ok, you know everything right Luke?? His food, toys, stories, his bed time, oh and if anything happens just call our cell and if you cant get in touch call our page, the number or the place we are going its on the fridge so you will find us no matter what"

Nathan----I go and kiss my son. Than I take Haley's hand and we leave and go to the pizza restaurant.

Nathan----"Yeah." I am thinking about how to tell her about my grades.

We sit down and i look at the menu but i cant tell something is bothering Nathan "babe...whats wrong?"

Nathan----"Lets order first than we can talk."

"Ok..." we choose the pizza then something to drink and i look at him "sooo..spill"

Nathan----"I....I am not doing so well.....in my classes."

"oh..ok..Nathan there is no need to hide or feel embaressed about this..I am not doing that great either..tell me more"

Nathan----"I am pretty much flunking Math. I also am not doing that great in English. Luke got a report on my grades since he is one of my coaches. There is still time for me to bring both grades up to Cs but it is going to take a lot of work. Luke has the same Math class I do and he does not under stand it very much either. He has always been a better student than me so he is passing with Bs. I need to try my hardest to get an A on my next test. I am not blaming you Hales so do not take it that way. I should have taken the classes where the teachers will pass me to play ball. You did not want me to so I didnt. I know you think that is cheating and I can see your point of view."

"Of course you shouldnt...passing because the teachers like basket bal its not fair to the other people who work their asses off to get good grades...baby dont worry, ok?? College is hard we know that but I a mgonna help you, i can tutor again, like before and i am sure you are gonna get an A..we will work togheter...i will make a study schedulle and everything."

Nathan----"You are so busy alreay. With Jamie and keeping up with your own studies and working. You do not get much sleep at it is. How are you going to have time to help me? I am not going to allow you to get sick because you are not resting enough."

"Baby, we are a team..team naley" i chuckle then get serious "Nathan we need to tell each other these things, ok?? If I have a problem i need to come to you and you too..I will figure out a time for us to study, i am pretty much organized and i will make a schedulle that gives me time to help you and do the other stuffs..we`re gonna beat this..togheter"

Nathan----"If you can explain things to me than I can pretty much do the work. You can study at the same time. You gave me a really good basis in high school on this stuff. It is mainly that the teacher is so confusing and goes too fast. It all goes over my head."

Nathan---"Save the really good parts for later than. Yeah....I am glad you want to help me again. I guess I thought maybe you would not have time. Hales, you are so busy....too busy. I do not want you to get exhausted than get sick."
