I especially love how she's kinda making Shane 'work for it'. Not to mention, even tho I liked Cherie (a lot!), I liked Carmen, I liked Paige, but it always seemed that none of them really fell for Shane for Shane. It was always, "You're hot! Let's f**k!" Shane is an amazing person. She deserves better than that. Molly is seeing and falling for her. That already gives Molly a depth that not a lot of (or any) Shane's girls ever had.




Oh yes! Definitely! I've had a crush on C.S. since I was a wee lil one. Clementine is like the second coming of it. She's so gorgeous.

Don't worry, I don't think I've seen a Clementine/Molly thread around here anywhere, and I mean, I should know shouldn't I? (At least one can hope!)


I totally adore Clementine, but I'm not sure yet how I feel about the character Molly. I need to see some more of her before I can make up my mind.

There might be that whole, "This girl is a challenge" thing for Shane. I'm sure there's some thrill in that for Shane. But there's also that thing when Shane was immediately attracted to her. It happened at Phylis' party. They hadn't even met before. But Shane was all, "Whoa. Who's that?" I don't recall Shane ever doing that to another girl before (except maybe Carmen.)

But I don't think she intentionaly makes Shane 'work for her'. I mean, Molly is, ya know... straight. Lol. Shane's looks and sex appeal aren't what caught Molly, though I'm sure Molly does find Shane attractive even if she doesn't want to admit it to herself. I think it's Shane's wonderful and kind and funny and charming personality that's working it for Molly.

There's still that fear in Molly. This being attracted to another woman thing. And... I can't help it. I like that kind of angst.

Everyone likes that kinda angst.

THIS is what I've been trying to say, but just couldn't articulate. It's constantly been "I like you, but there are some things I want to change". Molly likes Shane for Shane, in fact goes after her because her mother calls her a cad and all that! Ha!

Shane is great; she does deserve better. I have a feeling Molly is going to be bad for her, but it's nice that Molly is falling for her for the "right" reasons.

My only concern is about Molly's sexuality. I'm worried she will ending using Shane.

What does everyone thinks, in terms of Molly's sexuality? Doesn't anyone else thinks it's a little crazy how she bitched out mummy about going gay, but now she is spitefully doing the same?

That makes perfectly sense.


Like I said earlier, I think that not even Molly knows right now, whether she's gay, straight or bi-sexual. I'm sure she likes Shane, because at the dinner party you could see that she was happy to find someone that actually understands her. And we know that this is what Shane's like. She doesn't judge people by what they're doing with their own life. And this is what I think, attracts Molly immediately to Shane.

I don't know if they're like soulmates, because Shane spotted Molly in a crowded place and was like: "Whoa! Who's that". What I think shows us that there is something more that Shane feels right now than she might never felt before is that quote: "I like her. But she's different" cont'd part "That's the crazy. I like it". And then the one from the preview: "I have a straight girl crush, that just won't go away" She's for probably the first time in her life confused about what she's feeling for someone that seemingly has no interest in her at all (Episode 7).

And what I like about that s/l is that Shane is completely caught off-guard with that and that makes it so beautiful. Let's just hope that nothing bad will come out of it.

Here's my prediction to what happens in the season finale. I put it in spoiler tags, before I get myself in trouble On the episode description of finale, you can read that Shane pulls away from Molly, when their relationship starts to get serious. I think that Shane IS actually pulling away from Molly. But other than Paige, Molly won't chase her. And that is what draws Shane back to Molly. She loves the challenge and Molly's a challenge for sure.

Like I already said, I'm not sure what to think about her yet, but I do think Molly is really straight. I think she likes Shane a lot, but sometimes that's just not enough. It feels more like she's going after Shane and tries to be gay to somehow make peace with what her mom did when she broke up their family. Like she's trying to understand how Phyllis could do what she did. That's just my 2 cents.

oh my god, i'm in love with this character & i like clementine, a lot. it's crazy to think after all these years that i've been lurking, there's finally something going on the show that pushed me hard enough to get my lazy ass to register with this forum. love everyone's comments & opinions, btw.

this shane/molly storyline just pulled me right in. i'm completely obsessed with it. it's amazing how clementine played molly, and although the straight-girl (or any girl, the matter of fact) fall-for-shane is kinda old by now, somehow this storyline seems fresh & new. it's certainly feels different,and i like that feeling a LOT. they're very cute together, which is a new kind of dynamic for shane. you always expected shane's relationships to be hot, but you never expect her to be so cute with a girl.

i agree that molly has more depth than most of shane's other relationship. in just a few episodes, the writers have been able to established molly's place in the group, and clementine's energy is just freaking amazing. i love her and the subtle thing she does, which convinces me that she's indeed a good actress (in contrast to some reports that she isn't, i'll prove this point later by providing screencaps).

all in all, i honestly & truly believe, that molly is indeed the character that shane SHOULD ended up with. i think she's the ONE, though i don't know if that'll pan out. regardless of that, i'm in on the ride & i can't wait for more molly. woo hooo!!!!

Well, my 2 cents: I like Molly (so far, we never know what they're going to come up with to ruin everything) because she seems like a normal person that you can relate to and not some odd freak b!tch or anything. In some ways, she kinda reminds me of Lara (!).

Anyway, I hope good things will come out of this relationship.

anyways, yeah, being a spoiler-whore that i am, i've read a few spoilers from a couple of people that have seen the episodes in advance (i think it's someone from TWOP, can't remember the name ) & some of them didn't like molly & said that clementine is a bad actress. since i read that before molly even appeared, i was skeptical of the character from the get go but NOW, having seen the episodes myself, that comments were totally bulls***. if clementine is able to win my adoration, me someone who's unsure from the start, it further proves that she's indeed a wonderful actress & played molly amazingly.

now now, about the caps, i think i'll do that after episode 9 aired, cause many of the subtle cute things she does are in that episode. speaking of episode 9, have you seen the pictures? holly freaking molly !!! all i can say is...WOW. i'm so anxious for that episode, it almost drives me insane..... is it sunday yet?

What did it feel like, joining a cast of actresses who had known each other for a while?

I was terrified. I am not going to lie. These women have been together for five years. I felt lucky because I had known Erin Daniels for a long time, and when she heard I was going to do the show she said, "you are going to have a great time... everyone is so nice!" She was so right. Everyone was like "Hi! Join us, be our friend." Nobody made me feel like I was the new girl. Which I found really unusual. And it was good, because this show was the first time I had ever done a love scene. It was very much a relief to go into that and have people around who are good people.

Any funny stories from on-set?

I am very accident-prone. I am not sure that is funny. Is that funny? We did this scene in The Planet where I am supposed to be all flirty. I walked out the door and ran directly into a flag and the whole set shook. As I was trying to recover from that, I tripped over a sandbag. Later that night they actually had someone escort me down the stairs because they were worried about my balance. I got to the bottom, walked on flat concrete for two steps and tripped over immediately.

Tell me your first impressions of the other cast members.

The first time I met Kate Moennig, I didn't know that Kate was Kate. I introduced myself and she looked at me and said, "are you cool?" I was horrified. I said, "um, sometimes." And she said, "well you better be, because we have to work together." I was in shock.

Then I ended up finding out, that is her humor. She is very good with the deadpan humor. Actually, I was in awe of her as a person. She is really lovely. She's really sweet and really, really smart. I spent most of my time with her and she is hilarious. Her humor is a little bit ****ed, but in the most wonderful way. She is a lot of fun.

She is so adorable!
