I was kind of waiting for Brendan to make this announcement, and I'm sure he will have more to add shortly... But this just hit the news so I thought I would post it here..

If Horatio has an interesting life, Calleigh’s is equally so. As shown in “Bang, Bang, Your Debt,” aired last October, she’s not the favorite person of former CSI lab tech Dan Cooper (Brendan Fehr), whom she caught fraudulently using a credit card that belonged to slain CSI Tim “Speed” Speedle (Rory Cochrane).

Nayar says, “Calleigh has to deal with the fact that Cooper’s mad at her. He blames her for having lost his job. He’s going to mess with her in a way that gets much darker than he ever expected.

“It’s never dull for Calleigh.”

Back in her crisp white lab coat, Procter acknowledges hearing that exciting things are coming for Calleigh.

“Calleigh, she’s just a magnet for the bad (guys). I have to say, whenever we talk about things like this, people will ask me, how do I feel about this story line or that story line? I could never answer from a story-line perspective; I can only answer from a personal perspective.

“Selfishly, I’m very excited. I miss Brendan. We were all heartbroken. We were really sad it was over for Brendan, but now he’s back.”

Brendan hasn't told me much about the episodes he is currently filming for CSI, but he said he was going to do 2 before heading up to Vancouver for Samurai Girl. He did say that we are going to see a darker side of Dan Cooper.

I've been speculating that he's going to be using his computer skills against the CSI team, maybe hacking their system?

Anyway.. I'm looking forward to seeing it (not sure when the episodes are going to air yet)

That is awesome that Brendan will be doing his role as Dan again. Why do they have to make him a bad guy though.

I'm...conflicted.


I'm always glad to see Brendan get work, because that means we get to see him on a screen (TV or movie!). And I'm with Emily, I miss Brendan!

...but I abhorred the way they handled Dan Cooper leaving, and how they made his character, well, completely *out* of character. It was pretty poor treatment, and I know it wasn't personal about Brendan himself, but it still rankled. I think Brendan handled it better than I did, hee. And, I'm not sure this is any better, since they're still going down the "Cooper is bad" road. I am sure, however, that whatever they give him, Brendan will do a great job! Looking forward to seeing him and Emily work together, even though Calleigh and Dan will be antagonists (and we know how it's going to end, as in 'not well' for Dan), they always had nice chemistry.

I miss the SCR. Maybe Dan and Calleigh can have hot anger-sex before Dan goes off to jail for good, to be someone's prison-puppy.

While I am happy that Brendan will get another shot on CSI Miami, yes, we do know how it's going to end. I am also with Clarity on the fact that Dan got the shaft in the way they wrote his character off. I know Brendan was fine with it, but it didn't sit well with any of us. To have him come back seeking revenge against Calleigh, well I guess I can see how that one incident would turn his entire world around and make him a different person.

The problem was, that the writers made him a different person right before they wrote him off of the show. I wish that there would be some way that Dan would be able to redeem himself, but considering that he confessed to using that credit card (that had no business still being in a freakin' locker, but I digress) kinda closes up that case real nice and neat. Plus the fact that Brendan has moved on to another show and it's being shot in another country. Yeah, that would put a big crimp in Dan coming back to the show.

I'm happy for Brendan and I'm happy that we'll get to see him on tv again soon!

ITA - I think he'll do great but as far as Dan the character . . . I still have mixed feelings. On the one hand like she said, good for Brendan I did not like the way his development was handled - when it came about I remember thinking 'Okay' then laughing over it, but when I saw it on screen I just got . . . disgusted.

Okay, got my copy of TV in the mail a couple of days ago and was just perusing through it today. I believe I know what dates Brendan will be on and what the storyline will be. It's a two-part episode airing on Monday, March 31st and Tuesday, April 1st. Hmmm....April Fool's Day.

Don't know if everyone wants to know, so if you don't skip the rest. Sorry, don't know how to do a "spoiler" post.

Calleigh is cyberstalked. Someone posts her mistakes on a website called Solve a Crime with Calleigh, and things get out of hand when she's abducted by two guys who want her to cover up a murder. She will be waking up in a basement somewhere.

In the 3/31 episode: Calleigh finds herself the unwilling subject of a popular crime website.

In 4/1 episode: Find out what becomes of captive Calleigh.

If that's right - 3/31 is this Monday and next week (which for my sake/ sanity I hope those are the air dates) from what I've read Somebody said they saw *something* during last weeks promo but wasn't sure who/what it was. . So yeah not sure. . . .

Then again, did he already film them or is he filming them now?

Well, it kinda makes sense that they wouldn't show who it was that was cyberstalking Calleigh on the 3/31 episode. He probably just comes out when they bust him. We'll wind up watching the entire hour just to see him come out for a few minutes as they haul him away to jail.

Hopefully not, but I wouldn't put it past them either!

Actually it says Part One is this Monday and not the monday after - so 3/31 is right (as far as I know) and he *could* very well be on on monday night (sources point to it several times from what I see surfing about) and next week (I don't know why I'm all confused).

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

Yeah, the dates for the episodes are March 31st, this Monday, and April 1st, this Tuesday. Hopefully we get two days of back to back Brendan goodness!

I still think it's a tad fishy though that the second part is on April Fool's Day....

YESSS!!!! Brendan is back!

Oh, the tortures we must endure for Brendan! Every time I can put CSI Miami behind me, there's a reason to go back. I find it amazing how many good actors come off bad because of the writing on this show. My mom calls it "the trainwreck" while I contend the only reason this show is an international hit is because you don't have to subtitle T&A. I'm glad to have a chance to see Brendan again, but having to endure "H" for that glimpse - it's one for the VCR, or two, but I cannot watch all the way through. I'll watch the parts I can stomach.

Just went to set it all up to record on my dvr and I realized that Tuesday's episode is going to be pre-empted here and shown at a later time. There's a basketball game being shown! It won't come out until 3am! So I will be able to record and watch it, but I won't be able to participate in our little chat.

Guess I'll have to wait and add my comments in the next day. Oh well! At least I'll still get to see Brendan, that's the bright side.
