Hey there Forumites, and Michael as well!

I'm Brooke, and brand new to this forum, which I found through Michael's site (which looks fantastic, p.s.). Anyways, I'm so frakkin' excited about S4, it's criminal. This is my first season watching the show while it's actually on the air, as I just got into it just last year, and played DVD catchup thanks to a friend who started me on the miniseries. As a casual sci-fi fan who gets turned off by the overdone CGI or cheesily overwrought dramatics of most shows in the genre, BSG has completely blown me out of the water. Not only is it a living, breathing, rusting world, but it's an intellectual discourse that rivals any show I've seen from any genre on TV. Mythology, religion, relevant political exploration, military intrigue, and psychological/sociological angles as well? Handled in a serious way, and then delivered with killer robots? Too good to be true.

With that in mind, part of what led me here is that I was not only so surprised by learning Anders was a Cylon, but I've been really impressed with the way Michael Trucco has handled the role - and I think that 4.1 is a sign to us fans that we can not only expect great things from this character arc, but also can have total faith in Michael to sell it to us with punch we expect from BSG by this point.

Honestly, the best part of that premiere was the Anders/Raider showdown. So I made this.

Michael, you were wonderful in this episode! I was totally blown away almost from the moment it started and when it ended, I couldn't believe it had been an hour so soon. The whole scene with Sam heading to his Viper through the Raider scanning him and them bugging out...I was just floored, but I was shocked when Kara said that she'd put a bulled between his eyes if she found out he was a Cylon and then she KOs himwith the gun! I sat there in shocked open mouthed for a good minute while the end credits were running lol

It was brilliant and I can't wait for this Friday to see what happens next!

Brooke and Nikki - love the posts and the pic! I couldn't agree with you more about how great BSG is, the Anders/Cylon showdown scene was and how amazing Michael's performance was. I was just floored by all of it and didn't Michael bring it???

So Michael - how are you feeling? I hope you're back in the saddle and all healed up.

And will you be at Comic Con this year?

Yeah, that scene between Sanders and the Raider, his eye going red, that was pretty cool. I mean, the look on Sanders´ face was priceless (just like we see in that pic).



Me too! I was like"...oooooh, now she´s gonna get it" but yeah, poor guy just loves her.
