Wow, I didn;t really like the Ood when we first met them. They were much better special effects this time. They really looked real. I felt for them. I loved they sang. How sad they're so easily controlled. First with that devil creature a couple of years ago, and now mankind abuses them. sad.gif I guess head dude was being turned into an Ood right away.

I really can't beleive how much I like Donna. I love how excited she is, then it gets sad/cold/hard and she turns away, but she tries. It's very human. She's a good foil for the Doctor.

What's with the Bees talk?
Spook
I think the bees talk is setting us up for the finale. Like Bad wolf. It's the second time missing bees have been mentioned. As well as "she's returning" in last week's ep, and the doctors song will end soon - in this weeks ep. They're drip feeding us. Which I actually prefer they don't do, but I know loads of people like getting little clues and trying to work out which are real clues and which are red herrings.

Donna is also growing on me - but I'm glad Martha is returning next week. I hope she stops and travels in the TARDIS. That hasn't been made clear in the things I've seen, so I'm not sure whether she will or not.

I liked this ep. Although am not sure whether the timeline was supposed th be before or after last season? I'm guessing after - or the Ood on the space station would have sung?? And they would then have chosen to serve, and have their brains cut off?

The third brain thing didn't make sense to me. But then, some things aren't meant to make sense. Like the guy changing into an Ood. I can't see how that could really happen. But, again, this is Doctor Who - so anything can happen!

I think it's sad that mankind in the future hasn't learned from mistakes of the past though, and starts up slavery again - even though of a different species.

Yes, it was a bit anvil-y but then again, sometimes avoiding falling anvils is what Who is all about grin.gif I'll be glad to see Martha again. The TARDIS is always fun with extra companions.

'The Planet Of The Ood' is a good episode. In it, it seem that the Oods are being controlled by a outside force again. They are turning against the humans and the devil can't be blamed this time. It's revealed that the Ood are slaves and their 'third brain' is trying to free them after 2 centuries of slavery. grin.gif
