I don't know if you'll ever read this but here goes... I miss you on MySpace, the comments you occasionally sent my way were pearls. When your page got hacked the first time I was irritated and felt your frustration. When it got hacked a second time and you dissapeared I was pretty upset. The few comments I'd recieved from you were gone... even if they were few and far between, they were mine. If you remember, I was the guy in the armor squatting down by his shield. I'll keep looking for you, I never abandon a friend.

Welcome to the message board.

Sorry to disappoint or be the bearer of bad news but Katherine does not have or has never had a myspace page (or at least certainly not a public one).
There are numerous - usually very poor - fake sites and online blogs with people purporting to be Katherine.
This tends to happen with a lot of celebrities unfortunately and dupes many genuine fans into believing they are speaking with their favourite actor / actress / musician etc.

I am aware of many fradulent KH myspace pages. This one was different. She had personal photos on there not magazine or "internet" snaps, had her monogram on them, asking that the not be coppied, her blog had various insights which may or may not have been fake but they looked real...
Then her page got hacked and she was off myspace, then came back and had a web manager helping her... but then it dissapeard... maybe I was duped into thinking it was the real her, I don't know but it felt real...

I am 100% certain and unfortunately you were duped.

I know the site you mean - and the "personal photos" were all images available from Katherine Heigl Online (or other online sources.)

Well that figures. In the end I don't suppose it makes any difference. I feel a little jaded but that will pass. Regardless it was fun having my little fantacy about being in touch with one of the best stars on the planet. Perhaps someday if the planets align I'll meet the real Katherine lol. In the mean time let this be a cautionary tale for all you would be on-line pen pals.

No she did not use that either I am afraid. That is just a MySpace page for the movie created by the makers of the film.

Yes I know it was created by the makers of the film, Heigl being one of them, and used to be used I think for promotion of it at the time.

Katherine did not use the MySpace page and was not involved in that aspect of the film or the promotion. Her Executive Producer title was assigned for her work assisting with the filming process and the experience / knowledge she brought to the set etc. She was not involved in the actual production of the film per se.
